Recent Review: Professional. High Integrity. Service Minded. Reasonable Pricing. We first explored hiring Atlas Floors for our wood flooring (rip off report galore) and stumbled across River City Flooring instead. We worked with Damon Benedict and he was a really great partner making the planning and install very easy. They really went the extra mile when our house burned down literally the day after the floors were installed (fire had nothing to do with them BTW) and waited 2 months for payment from our insurance company - even though they weren't obligated to wait at all. I will definitely try to use them again when we rebuild. Highly recommended.

Recent Review: We had a couple of snags on installation of wall tiling, but it was handled acceptably and everything else was great. They were a couple of warranty issues that were also handled in a timely and professional manner.

Recent Review: It went really well. I would have liked if they spent more time on the baseboards. It didn't fit right and they didn't want to fix it. They needed to shave it out so that it fits.

Recent Review: Of the vendors reviewed, FCI had some of the best variety and most economical prices for their laminate flooring.  Their charges were straightforward.  The installers arrived on time and worked diligently to get the flooring done.

Recent Review: The sales person was really nice and helpful (Karl Smith). The scheduling and communication were good. They showed up when they were supposed to and they were always in contact by phone. They finished the job in ~1/2 day, it was a relatively small job but they were very efficient. There is always dust when you do these jobs so they were diligently and careful opening windows and making sure air was circulating. They also cleaned the area where they performed the job the best they could. My only "complain" is that they left the garage full of dust and didn't clean it but I am sure this was an oversight and I didn't notice either but after they left. I should have asked them to clean it and I am sure they would have taken care of it. The guys were very professional and polite. I think the job was a bit overpriced if you ask me but it is a local business and I know where to go if I have issues with the installation in the future.

Recent Review: Good experience. We hired Chase to lay down modern gray cork to unify a mish-mash of flooring materials before putting our NW Hills 70s house on the market. Nice selection of all types of flooring, helped us choose the one we did as most bang for the buck, gave us a quick and comprehensive quote. Installers were on time, polite, skilled, and fast. The job site was kept clean and the debris promptly cleared. A couple of areas we weren't thrilled with were quickly corrected without hassle. Not the cheapest, but I feel we got good value and improved the look of the home immensely. We had multiple offers the first day.

Installed laminate floors in living area, entry way, hall, and office.  Installed tile floors in kitchen, dining room and two bathrooms. Looks great.  Easy to schedule. Workers arrived, did quality work, paid careful attention to detail, and cleaned up.  I definitely recommend JJ Flooring.

AFASHION FLOORS
They're the best flooring company in Austin. Tom was great and the floors look fabulous. They were less expensive than everywhere else, their service was top-notch and the quality of their materials was extremely high. They have materials of every grade for any work you might want. The price includes the ripping out of our old tile and installation of the new flooring.

ATown Square Floors
I had laminate flooring delivered by a big box store, the installer arrived on the day of installation & said he could not do the work because all of the furniture had to be out.  They move nothing, so the order of laminate was returned.  Nice of them to tell me the day the work was to be done.  I know someone who had laminate flooring installed a few years ago & asked who did it.  Town Square Floors was the company.  I live in Cedar Park, so I would not have thought to look for a flooring company in Georgetown.    I dealt with Ray who came out and did the measuring, and the job is now done.  The installers were very good, arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and I love the flooring.  Everyone I dealt with at Town Square Floors was helpful and polite. As many others probably believe, I thought that buying from a "big box" store would be less expensive than buying from a small (by comparison) flooring company.  Ray told me that Town Square Floor's prices are generally 10% LOWER!  His price for laminate saved me $365 over the laminate that I wound up returning.  I should mention that the laminate I ordered from the big box store was on sale, and the laminate from Town Square Floors was not.  One must also consider that on top of the saving, Town Square Floors' installers move furniture, and that is worth a LOT.  The big box store's installer told me that what people do is rent a "POD" for a couple of days while the flooring is installed.  I would have had to hire a mover to move the furniture from the living room, dining room, and bedroom into the POD & have it sit in the driveway for 2 days, and I would have had to have "lived" upstairs in the bedroom for that time.  This is crazy! I may soon have carpet replaced in the upstairs bedrooms, and I have already decided to have Town Square Floors do the job because Ray knows flooring, and I feel confident that he will help me choose the right carpet.  The carpet that was replaced (from a big box store) wore extremely poorly, appearing dirty when it was clean. I have a carpet shampooer & cleaned the carpet myself at least 30 times in 3+ years and did not wear shoes in the house.  Ray used a comb & combed the part that looked dirty in the opposite direction, and it appeared clean!  He explained about "pivot points" and how carpet wears to make it appear less than attractive and clean.    The big box stores will not tell you what you need to know until the day their installers arrive.  Unfair.  Both of the ones I have dealt with will tell you the day of installation that they don't move electronics, pianos, or mirrors, so be prepared, but a better idea is to deal with Town Square Floors where you will be in good hands.  I will use them in the future whenever I need any kind of flooring replaced.

The floor he installed was way too dark, even after he talked me into installing new lights to offset the color.  I paid him for new materials (paying off the rest of my contract) and also had him take back some other materials to exchange for some that I had picked out.  This was two weeks ago, and I have left numerous voicemail messages with no response.  He ran off with the money and I am walking on concrete floors.

The work was done poorly and wasn't very professional. They did offer to fix it so my grade of C is only for the work and not the company. I declined to have them back out.

DZWERNEMANN FLOORING
We contacted Zwernemann's because they were ranked high on Angie's for Laminate Flooring. We have existing laminate in our entry hall, dining, and kitchen. We want to use the same exact material in our living room and lay the floor where it was a continuation of the existing. Zwernemann's sent a guy to measure and estimate the job. He was told how we wanted the floor to be laced in the existing floor with no transitions, and he said, and quot;no problemand quot;. A couple of days later they sent an installer out to look at our project. He was told how we wanted the floor installed and he said, and quot;no problemand quot;. They gave me an estimate and told me how much material to purchase. We agreed on the price and the work was scheduled. On the day they are to start, they send a different installer and the first guy that looked at the job is not here either. The guy shows up at 10:00 AM, and it becomes obvious the other guys did not even talk to him. Two-days to do the leveling repairs. Then he laid the floor in the living room reversed from the other floor, started on the opposite side of the room from the existing floor, and used transitions strips in the doorways. When I got home he was 80% done, so I told him to finish it. I called Zwernemann's the next day and told them I was very dissatisfied with the job, as it was not laid the way we originally agreed. They said they would do whatever it took to make me happy, so I told them I wanted it taken up and re-laid they way we originally agreed. We got a visit from the owner to look at the job. He did not come at the appointed time so I was not there. I spoke to him on the phone. He was very nice and cordial, but he tried every possible way to get me to agree to leaving the transition strips. Saying it was to much area, and would buckle without the transitions. I then had to purchase an additional $310 of material for them to re-lay the floor. When the installer arrive at 11:00 AM he was instructed to just flip the material around and re-install the transition strips. I would not allow it, so he calls his boss and was told I would have to sign a waiver on the warranty of the installation. I said, fine I'll sign it, just lay the floor the way we originally agreed and he did. The installer did a very good job on the floor and we are very pleased with how it turned out. We were just very frustrated and displeased with the battle it took to get there. All of these problems could have been avoided, had Zwernemann's just communicated with their people.

ALone Star Floors
The job took slightly longer than anticipated, but every other aspect of the experience was perfect. The rep (Tony Rodriguez) was extremely responsive, MUCH more so than any other highly-rated Angie's list vendor (People's Flooring never even returned my calls). He was able to schedule getting my floors done with short notice, helped my weigh the pros and cons of each flooring option, and the installation crew worked diligently and did an excellent job. I wish I hadn't waited so long to get new floors!

APeoples Signature Flooring
We had the Peoples Signature Flooring crew install our new wood laminate and tile floors about 6 weeks ago. We are very pleased with the entire experience. Robert and Julie are not only professional and polite; they are flexible, helpful, and super-easy to work with. Their crew was reliable and trustworthy… and FAST! While having your floors changed is never going to be an easy or a clean process, they made it as pleasant as possible. They did a great job quickly, and we love the results. Even if we could have found another crew as good, we still would not love our floors THIS much if it were not for the excellent guidance from Robert. His suggestions led us to go in another color direction with our wood floors, and we have not regretted that choice once. The new choice fits our style and color palette better than our original choice, and we are very grateful for his help. We highly recommend Peoples Signature Flooring for any of your flooring needs. They will work with any budget (even a very tight one like ours) and will give you great results in your home.  We would use them again in a heartbeat!
