Recent Review: Service technician was extremely polite and knowledgeable. Extra care was taken to prevent tracking in outside dirt. Every inside visit tech. wore protective coverings over his boots. After a thorough furnace inspection/cleaning he then asked for my input. If I was ever unsure or curious about maintenance that I myself could do. I now know how to change those Aprilaire space-guard filters. And now own a Humidifier that works without the standing water(mold). Maintenance on the new humidifier only takes 1min rather then 30min w/older humidifier. For good, neat, and professional service I ONLY call D+G.

Recent Review: I was extremely pleased with the new heating units and not only was it a climate control unit; it also purified the air for us. The unit itself was pretty expensive, but It was well worth the money. Since it's installation, I haven't needed to call and have anyone come out to fix any repairs, but that hasn't stopped them from calling us and making sure everything was running perfectly.

Recent Review: The owner came to our home and talked to us about all of our replacement options. Later that same day, workers came to measure. They sent us a bid a week a later. After that, we communicated back and forth to clarify what I wanted. Then we were ready to sign the contract. A few days later, they came to install the system and completed the work within five hours.

Recent Review: There were some initial problems communicating with the company. To be fair, all contractors were very busy due to the floods in Wimberley. It is best to call this company, as they have some trouble with email spam. We have had this wine closet for 20 years. Our house builder put in a Breezaire unit meant for a wall application in our attic. This never kept the unit cold. We replaced it once with another unit. It also burned out. This time we tried to do it right. We got a bid from Wansley for three options. One of the options was for a Wine Guardian unit. Wansley's bid was about $1000 less than another company's bid for the same unit. We opted to go for a site based build using an LRC brand blower coil and a matching Trenton condenser. The team installing it was very professional and through. The unit did not come with a visible thermostat, so I bought a thermometer and humidity detector from Thermoworks. The temperature stays at 58 degrees, and the humidity stays above 60 percent, without having paid for a humidifier, so we are very happy with the unit.

Recent Review: The Service Person who installed the Humidifier appeared to do a very thorough and neat job. He explained exactly what he did and what I needed to do to operate and maintain it. It is working fine to date. He also answered additional questions about my house's HVAC system. The Service Person who performed the Winter Check Up didn't say a word to me. When I questioned him, he said everything was okay. I would have given this company the highest rating if he explained to me exactly what he did and asked if I had any additional questions.

AD & G Heating & Cooling
I called up Dand G and spoke with Dan Donaldson. I asked for a price quote and he was able to give me a price over the phone. I scheduled the appointment. The technician who did the job was very proffesional, pleasant and did an outstanding job. He also was very honest. The new humidifier looks and works great. The furnace is clean and inspected. I would reccomend Dand G for heating and cooling work. MY experience with them was excellent.

Some time passed before they were able to start the job, but once they did there was no nonsense. They delivered the parts when they said they would and installed them when they said they would. Everything works perfectly and we couldn't be happier.

When the provider left, my husband went into the attic to review the situation and informed me that we had been lied to and one of the two humidifiers, which were expensive, had never even been hooked up at installation. On 1/14/2016, I texted the  provider asking him to contact my husband and explain the work that he had completed three days before. I did not get a prompt response as I had in the past but I had such good luck with this vendor before, I decided to be patient and discuss the hookup situation when the provider returned with the new parts. we got radio silence so I called the provider approximately five weeks later, he answered, said he was at the hospital because of a motorcycle accident and I wished him well and that I would look forward to hearing from him soon.  Today is March 26, 2016 and I have not been contacted by the provider, any representative of his company or any other  company that he had arranged to cover for him during his recovery. His website is still active so apparently he didn't die from the accident so apparently we have been conned for at least a thousand dollars. We purchased, (maybe) what we thought were fairly top of the line humidifiers, paid for the install then the cost of repairing and repainting the drywall that was damaged when the valves or whatever parts they were "popped" off. To add insult to injury, I had referred him to several neighbors when we first worked together several years ago who became his customers.  There is no way I would work with this provider again, hope you downgrade his rating or better yet, remove him from your listing and I will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau. Shame on you.

AJack Lehr Heating Cooling & Electric
This was the BEST EXPERIENCE we've ever had WITH ANY CONTRACTOR of any type, EVER.  I would recommend them to anyone for any of the services they offer. Initially, I chose Jack Lehr due to their response to a previous review.  The fact that the president of the company would take the time to respond to the review meant he cares about the reputation of his company and the satisfaction of his customers.  His assertion that they charge by the job and not by the hours spent at a site, and that they follow through with the job until it is completed to the reasonable satisfaction of the customer, demonstrated ethical business practices and integrity. From the moment I placed the call to request an evaluation of our furnace, I felt confident in my decision to employ Jack Lehr Heating Cooling & Electric.  The receptionist was genial, polite, and accommodating.  Other companies have implied that loyal or repeat customers receive better or more immediate service.  Jack Lehr seemed to value my business with the same quick attention and excellent service that a loyal, repeat customer might otherwise receive.  We called in the midst of sub-zero temperatures and with several feet of snow accumulated on the property.  I imagine a heating company was rather busy amid such conditions, but we were able to get same-day service, and sub-sequent emergency installation of the requisite replacement furnace. We had 3 different service appointments and 1 sales appointment with Jack Lehr technicians, and every employee arrived immediately when they stated they would.  The service appointments were quoted as beginning between 0730am and 0800am, and technicians arrived at 0730 on the dot.  The salesman (for the replacement furnace) promised to arrive by 1430, and so he did. Extreme care was taken to protect our surfaces and furnishings, including boot covers and drop-cloths.  I shamefully admit our basement is messy, and I think it was actually cleaner when the gentlemen left than when they arrived. Initial technician diagnosed malodor as result of cracked heat exchanger, resulting in dangerous Carbon Monoxide levels throughout the house.  Thank goodness they perform Carbon Monoxide testing, as not all companies are equipped/certified to do so.  I was instructed to open windows to vent the house, and he was forced to disable the furnace.  He informed me that the heat exchanger was broken and that the furnace would require either a new heat exchanger or a replacement of the entire appliance.  He stated that their salesman was available to speak to me regarding my options, and fortunately he could arrive within the hour. The salesman was wonderful.  He was a former technician, thus he had the technical expertise to accompany his complete familiarity with the high quality products they carried.  I was provided with several options at various price points, and additional a la carte upgrades were also offered.  Moreover, he offered to remove the pesky, unused humidifier - a legacy from the previous homeowner - gratis.  He left for about an hour to draw up contracts, and I was given time to do a little internet research on the products he had offered.  When he returned, I felt confident in my decision to purchase certain products and refuse others which we couldn't immediately fit into our budget.  I was especially happy to have modern, energy-efficient options, to which we did choose to upgrade.  We were also loaned some space heaters to keep the house safe and comfortable until the new furnace could be installed. - a huge relief, as the temperature reached -1 that night! All employees whom we met were very friendly, seemed extremely knowledgeable and competent, and demonstrated high integrity.  They all seemed to like their jobs and sincerely care about the quality of their work and the customers' comfort and satisfaction.  The technicians took the time to completely review the work with me, even taking the time to show me the cracked heat exchanger.  Numerous complimentary upgrades were thoughtfully included in the service, much to my delight: replacement of the original water hose (which was dirty and moldy, but still functional) and a complete replacement of the old exhaust pipe (an unattractive pipe, which was replaced by a modern, attractive combination exhaust/air-intake system).  The gentleman who installed it had to repeatedly traipse through several feet of solid snow-pack, for which we are completely grateful and humbled. We are completely satisfied with the new furnace.  It is quiet, efficient, and warm.  The old furnace only heated the air to 90 degrees.  If I remember correctly, the technician tested this one at 120 degrees.  The humidifier was quickly removed and the area patched beautifully.  Jack Lehr Heating Cooling & Electric will forever have our endorsement and gratitude.

\f0\fs22 \cf0 \cb2 \expnd0\expndtw0\kerning0 \outl0\strokewidth0 \strokec3 If there were 0 stars I would give them that. Buyers beware. Before you have any HVAC pulled out check what brand and SEER they are installing. Austin energy had this free weatherization program. We qualified. The nightmare began. The owner refused to let us keep our original unit. He put a Coleman 15 Seer single stage compressor with no variable speed. He took out a 14.5 SEER Lennox that had a one stage compressor and variable speed. Our old unit was more efficient. We had Climate out 2 times for high humidity after the install. The second time the Service Manager came out. The first tech that came out here was told to lower the fan speed. What he did was raise the fan speed. The Service Manager said the first tech messed up. BTW there is a wiring diagram of the fan speed that he totally neglected to see.The Service Manager supposedly fixed the problem.A few days later we call Climate and speak to The Service Manager. There was still a humidity problem. He states there is nothing that he can pull out of his bag of tricks. He states what do u want from us? The unit is working the best it can. I Don't see any reason to come out there!!! I was mortified. We have a year parts and labor warranty. They will not come out . Arent they in violation of their warranty? Be very careful dealing with this company. \ ************. Update 10/29/14 We received an email from this company to delete my post as he was losing revenue. We have hired an engineering company to come to our home to preform a heating and load calculation test. We will post the results shortly. Before the engineer left I asked him does it look like this Ac was oversized. He stated yes.\ Update Mr Mike states that the reason we went through 3 Ac companies before him was that we were difficult. Not true.\ Then three companies backed out because the city audit wanted the air handler placed in the attic vertically. The city wouldnt pay the contractors the extra money in labor to do that therefore it was an option for them to decline. Climate was given the contract and accepted only if you could put the unit in the same location as it was. The City told climate after the audit what is to be put in period. Our old unit was 14 years old with variable which took out he humidity. The Coleman that was installed doesn't have variable speeds therefore it doesn't take out humidity . Our humidity gauge shows 54 % And that is jacking it down to 75.We qualified for this program as many others did. Climates job was to to inform us what they were putting in as far as make,SEER and how that unit would be efficient. Climatec did none. The city on their audit put down a 3 ton should be installed. Climate put a 3 1/2 ton compressor and a 4 ton air handler . We asked to keep our old unit . Climate told us that the program requires you to take it or the new unit would not be installed . According to the City if we asked for our unit then you should of not taken it. Climate made a profit on the copper and aluminum. Mr Mike. You replied on our yelp post they you recommended us to get a humidifier. That is not true. In fact your manager that was out here stated if it was up to him he would of put a variable speed in. He also stated he has never seen a Coleman installed into a residential home. Under the warranty agreement we have called your office 3 x for the same problem.HUMIDITY on yelp climate states thatbtheyntold us to buy humidifiers.were never told to get a humidifier. WHY SHOULD WE AFTER HAVING A BRAND NEW HVAC INSTALLED? It should of been an energy efficient system knowing that my husband has COPD and is disabled along with other illnesses. The City's project was to lower our electric bill. Has this been accomplished.? I mean running the unit at 70 to 75 degrees is not saving electricity.I have called 3 x for the same issue . Humidity . Climate told me I was a nuisance. I may be a nuisance because you cannot fix the problem. This is the third time you have given us your lawyers information and not to contact-you.Shouldn't a reputable business want to solve his issue? I\ \ I\ UPDATE 12/19/14 We have not heard from Climate to resolve this issue. As the installer they should want to correct the problem. That is the unit needs to be torn out and replaced with a energy efficient variable speed unit. This is no way to treat a customer. Very unprofessional. At this, point we have no-warranty with Climate because they have violated the warranty. . It will end up,costing us $15,000 to replace unit. Mike please consider replacing the unit to end this nightmare. Climate was supposed to call us and make an appointment to check to see if the heat is working efficiently as you coul not test in the summer. We have not been contacted at all.\ \ I will fight until this issue is resolved as I believe I was taken. I'm backed against the wall and will have to use every avenue that I have including the BBB and Attorney Generals Office. But first I will wait for your reply .
