Recent Review: Touchstone was excellent. We missed connection the first time he was due to come out (my fault - I was at the Home Depot and my cell phone did not ring). Touchstone himself came out to make the assessment and said it would be a small job and that he would schedule one of his people between other jobs. After several days, because they were busy, he came out himself and switched out the gas line connector (it was too high on the wall for my new stove). It took about 20 minutes. In the end he refused payment for such as small job (small maybe, but with the potential of blowing up myself and my house, I don't like to take chances with a DIY job) and said 'remember us in the future for bigger jobs'!! How often does that happen? I will certainly use them again. They were always prompt and responsive when I called, despite the first scheduling problem that I caused myself. Easy to deal with. True South Austin style company.

Recent Review: Excellent work - Wilson Plumbing will be my first choice next time I do plumbing repairs or renovations. Very very courteous, friendly, and professional. I'm very pleased with the work both while it was being done and with the outcome. [note: I thought I submitted a report right after the work was done, but I don't see it online, and want to be sure I do have a positive report on the site.]
Recent Review: They came out quickly to bid the job. I had to call a couple times to get the estimate. I set the start date and they started on time. The job went well, they took care not to damage anything on the property and a nice job of cleanup.

Recent Review: I called AAA Auger to get a plumber, & reserved one for 1st thing the next morning. The dispatcher told me that he should have been able to come out by 8:00 am, but he didn't arrive until about 9:00 am. The plumber got right to work, looking for the source of the leak. This was a pretty painstaking process, requiring a lot of trial & error, but he was very persistent. About an hour and a half later, he found the source of the leak, a pin-sized hole next to the furnace. It took him only 20 minutes to fix the leak. He then called the gas company to confirm whether or not a city inspection would be required. The city came out to inspect & it passed. The gas company was out the same night & was able to connect the service w/ no issues. The plumber came back the next morning to pick up his tools & collect payment.
Recent Review: This is the plumber you want to call in the Bryan /College Station area. During the remodeling of my house I have used, or had contact with, three different plumbing companies and John Gause is by far the best. I used the Angie's list site to schedule an appointment and was contacted shortly afterwards to discuss the work needed and confirm the time. The plumbers arrived as promised and went to work . The quality of their work , and their knowledge of their profession, was better than the other two companies combined and their pricing was very reasonable. You cannot afford sloppy work when dealing with a gas line and this company did a top notch job. I would not even consider using anyone else after this experience.

He was a bit grumpy to begin with, but, in the end was quite helpful and competent. He did not maximize his profits on the job.

While Bob Lemmons and his crew arrived on time they jumped into the work so fast that they did not take time to listen to me, the client. Bob seemed to have forgotten much of what we had discussed about the work when he gave me the estimate. The work was sloppy, rushed and they tried to cut every corner possible. When I tried to express my concerns about the work, they argued and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. I hired another company to send out a Master Plumber for a diagnostic call ($57). ABC Home and Commercial Services was timely, honest and considerate. With the diagnostic list they provided my husband was able to knowledgably request that Bob Lemmons and his crew finish the job as needed and within International Code standards. Among the many things he cut, he did not install a condensate loop in the tankless water heater vent--this VIOLATES the WARRANTY of the heater. And now our roof is leaking where the supposedly experienced roofer that works for Bob Lemmons punched the vent. The gas line in the kitchen for the stove will need to be rerouted and we don't trust any of the work this guy and his crew did. I would never hire him again and I would never ever recommend him. If you are considering installing a tankless water heater, contact the manufacturer for a list of qualified service providers. I got this guy's name off of the Rinnai website only to discover later that they do not screen the dealers listed on their site. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED. He cuts corners to save himself--not you--money. He did stick to the price on the estimate and he was fast. Too fast.

I used them about five years ago. Then they got very busy and we had to wait a couple of weeks. We started using another company. They did very good work, but they charge a little more.

These guys are very nice and responsive. They're pretty busy, so they're not always available quickly, but I do feel like I'm the most important customer when they're here. They do very good quality work, never failed an inspection, and do it pretty quickly.

AClarke Kent Plumbing
This turned out to be an extensive job. A walk-through exists between house and garage so pipes had to be run across this open area and insulated and hidden, then around two walls in garage to location where washer and dryer would be placed. Gas line too had to be run from house through the open area walk-through (hidden again) and then across two walls. Pipes outside had meet a certain code because sunlight hit them. This job took many more days than estimated and we were not charged one extra penny. Many trips had to be made to bring this/that/the other that turned out to be necessary and which couldn't be known ahead of time. Inspection passed all city codes. Excellent job! Excellent responsiveness.

We had a report of a gas leak when we were away from the house. Found All-State on Angie's list, called them and they came out that day. Very responsive and very professional.

We contacted Lanier Plumbing to request a bid on a number of remodeling projects including adding a half bath and switching to a tankless water heater. David arrived on time and gave us the pros and cons of the various projects. He didn't try to sell us on anything and even suggested we could buy the parts ourselves to save a little money. He also took the time to explain how we could move a vent pipe and replace a couple valves ourselves. Later in the week David came out and replaced our old water heater then extended the gas line in the kitchen and capped a couple old gas lines in the bedrooms. He completed the work in a friendly and timely manner and cleaned up after himself. We will definitely be using Lanier Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

AALICE PLUMBING CO
I can't say enough how Ruben at Alice Plumbing did such a great job in fixing my problem very quickly and professionally. He was very prompt and kept me informed on what to expect in troubleshooting the issue and what costs would look like depending on what the problem could be. He did a great job and completed it in good time. This is my second time using Alice Plumbing and I will continue to use them as my first choice for my plumbing needs.
