Recent Review: We wanted a porch to replace a concrete slab patio & enclose the hot tub we were planning to buy. We had a screen porch at our previous home & didn't get very much use out of it. Chris & Sol suggested a 'sun porch' instead, with vinyl windows that would close out the wind & weather. They used paver stones on the pathway & the porch to hold up to constant water from the hot tub. The vinyl windows are easy to open & close & really add to the usability of the porch. They even custom made a door that would fit a 7-foot hot tub! Everyone involved with the project was professional & courteous. The project was finished according to the schedule we had discussed.
Recent Review: DeckSource provided a uniquely shaped screen porch for my house. The porch roof also tied into multiple roof slopes on the house. Their design improved the overall appearance of my house. They performed the work for the price quoted, completed the job in a timely manner and left the yard clean. The quality of their work is very good and I get many compliments on the porch from friends and visitors. I highly recommend DeckSource.
Recent Review: After seeing their product at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show we were convinced that this was the right product for our porch improvement work. The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered. We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. Everything went smoothly and contractor commented on how easy the windows went in. After three full seasons of use we still enjoy the product and we're pleased that we chose this as part of our porch renovation. It has added several additional months to our porch usage in our short Minnesota summer seasons. I highly recommend this product for any new screen porch or porch renovation job!

Recent Review: The projects went very well. Jim and Nick were both very professional from the outset even when we had some complications on our end. The bathroom remodel was a difficult job because we wanted to expand it which meant moving multiple plumbing lines. That plus the house being 60 years old meant that we would likely run into some issues. Jim and Nick identified them as we went, communicated the problems along with costs, and got them resolved in a very timely manner. Even with those unforeseen issues, they still finished the project within the original schedule. On top of all that, their pricing was very fair, from the original cost plus a couple of adds for the unforeseen conditions. Lastly, the bathroom (not to mention our new porch indoor/outdoor flooring) turned out fantastic! The bathroom is bigger and looks 10x better now! Can’t recommend HMI enough and I will be calling them for our next project.

Frank and his crew suffered through one of the worst winters in memory to complete this job. The final product met all of our expectations, if not exceeded them! We have already been able to enjoy using our new porch and deck. His crew chief Randy is a stickler for detail.

AAffordable Home Concepts LLC
We were on a budget, and Adam worked with us to come up with a plan we could afford (which did not include everything either he or I would have liked). It really was a gut job on the old, dilapidated porch (covered, and screened in) due to rot and neglect. The results are basically a new porch, which is very solid and attractive. His team started on time, and did a truly amazing job. We are very happy with the results, and will be happy to be a reference.

We interviewed several companies for the job and Frank was personable (he spoke to my 4 year old son while other contractors brushed past him) and up front with us. The fact that he was the owner and not just a sales representative was apparent in his ability to address structural details and questions that I had. Like several companies, he stressed the quality of his work. Originally, we looked a building a screened-in porch. When we realized we had to reduce the scope of the project to an open porch, Frank was happy to work with us on the price of the project while maintaining good quality on the reduced scope porch. He and I discussed in detail the concrete moorings and method of how his team would anchor the porch to the house and moorings. There were multiple independent inspectors after the work was done and the ,porch and stair railings are up to building code. There was an additional "third handrail" that was installed. I had no idea that it was required by building codes, and I really like the craftsmanship with it was built. The structural details of the foundation, railings, and deck are far superior to the original deck and I expect to see decades of use. Neither my wife nor I are in the construction industry so we had some questions as to the reason for some additional cost (wood repair and deck screws). Frank did answer our questions satisfactory, but became slightly defensive (note: I still ranked him as an "A" on professionalism). He pointed out some structural features that he included in for free in response to our questions, which we didn't quite see the relevant point to answering our question on wood rot. Also, we ranked the "Price" meter as "B" since there were some upgrades that didn't quite make sense to a person not in Construction. For instance, wood deck screws were an upgrade of $450.00 over nails. These screws were used only in the deck itself (not in the foundation or in the railing) and took about 5 to 10 seconds each to apply via a power drill (versus nearly instantly with nail gun). Not being in construction, I didn't really see the driving reason behind the cost of the screws, being in only a small subset of the construction of the porch. All said and done, Frank is a quality builder who proved to be personable, punctual, and one who I would recommend to anyone looking for a durable and attractive deck - capable for lasting for decades. Thank you Frank!

We met with several contractors to build our porch, I had a challenge with our existing 2nd story windows, they were in the way ofthe porch. Everybody said we needed to remove the radius windows, however I wanted to keep my windows. Frank from Decks and More was the only contractor that was confident and had the ability and knowledge to keep the radius windows intact. Next, Frank and his team built a stunning screened in porch with a custom deck. They added so many details to my porch, the low voltage lighting, custom slate floor, barreled roof with tongue and groove ceiling. They all tremendously enhanced the finished product. Our friends and family are all so extremely impressed with our new porch. I can't say enough about Frank and his company decksandmore.biz . Look no further, they are the company for all your home improvement needs.

AEXOVATIONS of Atlanta
I had new Hardie Plank siding installed by another contractor at the end of July. After getting several quotes for painting I went with Exovations. Unfortunately with all the rain they could not come out until October. Everyone was behind in painting jobs. They were suppose to start Monday Oct 28. They called on on Thursday Oct 24 to see if they could come out and pressure wash the house on Friday (which they did). They cam back on Saturday and painted the house.. Porch rail was done on Monday and Tuesday. Painter came back to finish the trim and rail painting. Gutters were install the next day. I had to have them come back out and replace some of the bannisters and paint side door (it was suppose to be a different color)
