Recent Review: Three words to best summarize CRSI: Honest, Reliable, & Quality. I think those are the three most important words when finding a contractor to do house work. We've hired CRSI twice over the past 2 years and are hiring them again, this time to paint the entire house exterior. We've had a battery of other contractors do work over the years, only to deal with arrogance, sloppy work, changing prices, and pure dishonesty. Matt is the opposite of all this. Very nice guy, keeps GREAT communication with you, fair prices, thorough crew, and does not disappoint!

ALBERT PAINTING
Recent Review: The home was a foreclosure and the garage had all kinds of damage to the walls and ceiling, foam spray everywhere as well as spackle. The crew arrived on time and went to work right away. They removed everything from the garage, prepped all the surfaces (there was a LOT) and painted all the walls, trim and ceiling. They did an exceptional job and finished in record time. They arrived at 8 am and were completely finished by 2 pm. By 3 the walls were already dry. My neighbor was getting thier house painted and the crew did an excellent job in record time so I called them for an estimate to paint my house. I did have them paint the exterior of the house, the estimate was much lower than I expected. They were so easy to work with, always on time, always working and always leave the job clean! They didn't step on any flowers either! They did such an excellent job on the exterior, thats why I hired them to to do the garage.

Reviews in Atlanta to Paint Garage Door

CThe Painting Company
This is my first large experience with contractors. I guess like any contractor you have to stay on top of everything. When we initially spoke with with the project manager we said we wanted any siding pieces replaced that were rotten or damaged. We pointed out any initial spots we knew of, but also said they were likely to find additional pieces as they would have a better eye for these things. Also additional damaged areas may crop up after pressure washing that weren't previously easily seen. Near the end I crawled on the roof and took photos all around the house to show the project manager and point out I just want everything that is rotten to be swapped out. Pros: * good work on siding * friendly workers * good communication with the painters themselves Cons: * I'll need to do some scraping and repaint a few places ( bubbling up and or peeling already) * I was out of town and told "The East Atlanta Painting Company" ( EAPC ) multiple times to contact my wife and update the email/phone number on the account and they never did. She gave them her phone number and email when contracting the job. * we were quoted over the phone for additional chimney work $1,900 then that changed to $2,100 via email ok sure sure maybe had a few hangups or job was harder than first look. The final quote was $2,400 !? that 500$ difference ? my wife talked them back down to 2100. Please pick a price and stick with it, or at least be able to back up the charges * I had to spoon feed them and stay on top of the siding people and the painters. More so the siding. We had a 1in hole basically 3 stories up (ya I know it high ) but I had to say something about it like 2-3 times before it was done. My wife also said something about it. * Since we were under the understanding that pieces that were damaged were going to be replaced, we thought the carpenters would find and replace everything that would be needed and I wouldn't have to go around the house poking around and finding rotten siding after they thought they were done because not everything was written up in the original quote. Yes, we understood if something totally out of scope would cost extra (like the chimney which was a mess and required its own quote), but apparently if it's not specifically written out in the initial quote they're reluctant to do the work. If it's going to cost a few extra bucks, we can talk about it and get it done. So my take away from this is, be sure to go over with the project manager any and all problems that you are aware of and specifically what work needs to be done.

CFendley Painting
It has been probably a year since the services were performed. I wanted to allow enough time to pass so I wasn't leaving a bad review in the heat of the moment and then honestly forgot. I just got on now to check for other home improvement services and remembered that I never left a review. In the end, Mike completed the job and made things right, but it was not an easy or pleasant process. Price was fine and we didn't have an issue with responsiveness (we were flexible on time, etc... weather didn't cooperate on the exterior, but we weren't in a hurry to get it done, so we were fine waiting for the right weather). The biggest issue was that when concerns were brought to his attention, he was very defensive, instead of taking the approach of wanting to make things right for the customer. I was so surprised that an adult with so many positive reviews on Angie's list (that was why we hired him) was so full of excuses and not wanting to hear concerns. It was almost as if he took "there were some spots missed" as personal criticism instead of simply saying, "sure, let me know what you're seeing and we'll take care of it" Example: after the bathroom was completed, I pointed out that the trim was crooked and the response was that it was that way from the previous painter and they just followed the lines that were there. I can only say that I never noticed that from the previous painting, but even if that were true, wouldn't a quality painter do it over right when he noticed it was crooked, or at least say to the homeowner - hey we've noticed this... would you like us to paint over it as it is or correct it? Example #2 - when I pointed out spots in the office that were missed, he was somewhat incredulous that he could have missed something. Even the best painters we have had have missed spots and when pointed out, they'd fix it with a smile. Example #3 - When the garage doors were painted (it was a chilly and humid day - chance of rain - my husband did point out that it was likely to rain and did he want to wait for better weather, but Mike said it should be fine and proceeded) and the paint ran and made a mess. Even after he came back to correct it, he did not thoroughly clean and remove the splatter and running from the rain that fell on the black weather stripping and garage floor. I was honestly astounded that someone would walk away for the day leaving a job in such a state. If there was no time to thoroughly finish that day, at least bring it to the attention of the customer -- here's what I was not able to complete today, but I will return to clean this up. Instead, we were left with the impression that he did not see there was anything wrong with it (poor attention to detail/careless) or didn't care enough. We got to the point where we told him we would only pay a portion of the original quote and subtract what it would cost us to have another painter come and finish the job, but he asked that we not do that.... that he would come and complete. He did, and we paid him in full, but it was such an unpleasant experience that I had my husband call him to schedule that final visit for when he could be home and I made sure I was not home as I honestly had enough and did not want to see him again. Absolutely would never hire again or recommend.

ASouthern Roofing Solutions
Southern Roofing solutions came out promptly and tarped the roof while awaiting an insurance adjuster. They attended the adjuster visit. They were able to promptly schedule the re-roofing of my home.  All work was completed on the day promised. Materials used were of high quality and they even painted vents, etc. on the roof to match the color of the roof shingles.

ASuperiorPRO Exteriors
It was a very good experience working with Superior Pro Construction and Superior Pro Painting. Everything was handled professionally and the work was done exactly as promised. The entire crew were very professional and responsive to my requests. I hired a dishonest contractors in the past so I made sure I followed up my research on Superior Pro before hiring them. I called every one of their references (more than 20 people) and all of them said they were very pleased with Superior Pro and would hire them again. I also checked to ensure their insurance and workmen's compensation were in effect and that they were in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.

ASpectrum Painting
They did an excellent job! They moved all outdoor furniture, pressure washed, repaired all rotted wood, and then painted. They are polite and courteous and have an eye for detail. They did extra touches (i.e., caulking a leaking gutter) upon request. They communicate throughout the process and stick to a timeline. We have used Spectrum for years and would highly recommend them. I often refer them to my friends and neighbor's. Their prices are competitive and the work is amazing!
