I?m thankful to have found Paco and his team. We needed a major master bath remodel, and I wanted a professional and skilled tiler as well as an experienced Kerdi specialist to assure that our new walk-in shower would be installed expertly, built and waterproofed to last the next 20+ years. I interviewed several local professionals and chose Paco. Paco and his team gutted our bathroom, removed and disposed of all items, tore down an old wall and moved and framed a new one, slanted the shower floor (which is challenging to get right) and installed the linear drain I required, used the highest-quality waterproof materials for the walls and ceiling and grout, installed travertine stone throughout, and added a travertine backsplash after the marble countertops were installed. During the process, they discovered where a leak in the old shower had caused severe rotting, which they repaired. (The shower would have likely fallen through the floor in the next few years). He and his team also caught a leak in the shower line that our plumber had just installed, which allowed us to have it fixed before the shower was installed. While they were in our home, we also had them remove the carpet in the master bedroom and install travertine on the floor and around the fireplace as well as travertine around a tub in another bathroom. A true artist, Paco has vision and added ideas to my own to make sure the project turned out impeccable. He is a perfectionist and on-site, working alongside his team (Mago, Rigo and Felix). Paco and his team are talented and experienced, hard-working, courteous, neat, thorough, thoughtful, and a pleasure to have in our home and to work with, always cleaning up at the end of every work day, too. Paco?s price is reasonable, also. He stands behind his work with warranties. His greatest interest is in making sure his customers are thoroughly satisfied, even at the end of exhausting days asking, ?Are you happy?? I am!  It was a long project and worthwhile thanks to Paco and his team. Their work is incredible. I highly recommend Paco?and we will be thrilled to hire him and his team for additional projects in the future.

We would not use this contractor again - In our opinion, job took too long, lack of coordination, communication and scheduling. There were several avoidable extra costs along with unnecessary delays.  We feel that this contractor did not abide by what was written in his contract - mostly having to do with oversight and communication.

Josh and Bruce did an excellent job completely remodeling my downstairs. From my kitchen to my bedroom there wasn't a job they couldn't handle. They even made some custom coat racks and bench seating around my bay window. They are very easy to work with and were home with my wife and children for over a month. I feel like they are part of the family now. There is no one else I would trust to work on my house. Unlike most contractor they know their limits and will not try something they don't know they will do right. That is invaluable for a contractor. Most will just take your money and attempt something they have never tried before. This usually ends in a mess and more expense to the homeowner. You don't have to worry about that kind of work with Bruce and Josh. Thank you guys.

I can not say enough about Stewart Nicholson, owner, and his crew. From the quote to finished product, Stewart and his team are above and beyond professional, trustworthy, and competent. He provided a great structural plan for the complete gut and remodel of the bathroom, which I could not be more pleased with. Not only did Stewart come and do a majority of the work himself, but Stewart was ALWAYS there to monitor the progress of his team and his subcontractors. I never had to worry if something was going to be done on time or done perfectly correct. Stewart managed it all with grace and integrity. Having your home turned upside down is not a good feeling. But Stewart walked me through the process from start to finish, never leaving me feeling abandoned or insecure. His advice and recommendations were spot on because he spends the time to get to know his clients. I don't know the first thing about remodeling, but I put all my trust and faith in Stewart, and I was NOT disappointed. Stewart instills confidence. He keeps his commitments. He and his subcontractors always showed up when they were scheduled, they kept the house clean always putting things away and making it a livable environment while the work was going on. I will NEVER hire anyone else but Stewart to do any work for me going forward.

Absolutely Fantastic I have worked with many wonderful contractors over the years but Rick Cox (dba Carolina Carpenter) is at the top of the list. He and his son, Josh, are extremely talented, resourceful and get the job done at a reasonable cost. They and the electrician, plumber and other professionals they use are delightful to work with and of the highest honesty and integrity. In June 2018 my wife and I purchased a house in Connestee Falls, Brevard, NC which was beautifully located but in need a great deal of work. After interviewing a number of contractors, we chose Rick because of his directness, obvious competence and easy manner. The renovation required complete gutting of the core areas, including the removal of several walls and a faux stone wood-burning fireplace. Rick started while we were still in NY and when we arrived in mid-August, he had neatly removed the fireplace. In the following 11 months, he replaced it with gas burning fireplaces in the living room and adjoining Master Bedroom (a very difficult thing to do in the space we had), expanded the rear hall, closed several exterior windows, installed 4 exterior windows and sliding doors, re-floored, re-sided and painted most of the common areas, rebuilt and upgraded the stairway to the lower level and put in a fantastic new kitchen. The project cost six figures and encountered many setbacks as removal of walls and floors exposed poor electrical work and many other preexisting deficiencies. However, in each case, Rick, Josh and his associates developed creative solutions and, as we went along, they helped us refine our vision of what we wanted so that the finished product far exceeded our initial expectations. With his fine carpentry expertise, Rick provided a new beamed ceiling and log mantle and wood work around the new living room fireplace which is itself the artistic focal point of the room. He also transformed an eye-sore half wall into a beautiful built-in cabinet which is integral to the new dining area. Rick and Josh work quietly and efficiently and are upfront about timelines and their availability. In fact, when the demands of a difficult new client caused them to fall behind the timeline they set, they worked on weekends to get current. You would be fortunate to have Rick and Josh working with you. We were. They came as workmen but stayed as friends. Chris and his guys did a superb job remodeling our Master Bath.  The job entailed removing a large jacuzzi tub that was never used and just took up space, expanding both clothes closets that are located inside the bathroom, moving the toilet and installing an new total glass shower.  Before the job, Chris provided us with a design plan that showed all the above changes.  We talked the design through with him and made changes until we were satisfied.  I was a bit concerned that the design would make our bath smaller, but Chris assured me that this would not the the case.  Our Master Bedroom closets are located inside the bath.  The original builder of the house did a great job, but didn't provide much closet space.  I was using the linen closet inside the bath for my clothes, and my wife's closet was too small for her needs.  The goal of this remodeling was basically to give us more closet space and we did this by removing the jacuzzi and moving the toilet and the shower.  The result was MAGNIFICENT!!!  We picked out the floor and wall tiles and CT did the rest.  CT's costs did not include the floor and wall tiles.  We felt the estimate Chris provided was very fair and within our budget.  The quality of his work was A+.  Chris and his guys were true professionals.  They were prompt and courteous and the work came in on-budget in spite of a cost overrun on Chris' part, which he absorbed.  You can't ask for anything better than that!!!

AANDREY'S CUSTOM HOMEWORKS
The work went very well and Andrey helped by contributing good ideas as the remodeling project proceeded, most of which we took and he executed, like adding two built-in alcoves to a built-out part of a wall which housed a plumbing pipe but otherwise would have been wasted space. He was very considerate, a pleasure to work with, and he always cleaned up after himself at the end of every workday.

Gil did a great job with the work. He called on capable help, including his wife Marilyn, when he needed it. When we realized we were not going to make an important deadline, he worked very hard to get itall done. When my guests arrived, everything was back in. Place and looked great!

The outcome was amazing! Quality of work was excellent. We are truly pleased. What we had done: -Tear down and removal of entire Master Bath down to the studs. Removal of old carpeting, and wall paper from the Master Bedroom. -Build new walls for Master Bath, install pocket door, new cabinetry, custom tile shower, tile floors, shower fixtures, vanity fixtures, new toilet, and electrical (recessed lights, exhaust fan, vanity lighting). - Master Bedroom: skim coat walls, remove stippling from ceiling and smooth out, move one HVAC vent, install hardwood floors with quarter round, recessed lighting, replacement of all electrical outlets and switches, move and install new ceiling fan, installed new baseboard and crown molding, replaced Master bedroom door. - Please note we provided all tile, cabinetry, granite, fixtures, faucets, sinks, toilet, switches, receptacles and wood flooring (including under layment and quarter round), PROS: -Although not always on site, any time we had a question or concern, Chris replied (or called) us promptly. We worked out a plan for him to contact us when work was being scheduled, it was a little getting used to at first, since this project took 8 weeks to complete, workman were coming and going at different days and times and Chris did a good job at keeping us informed as the project went along. -Demolition crew was quick, the tear down finished in a day and half! (Wall paper took a little longer, but that was to be expected). -We had custom tile installed, Mike who installed it was a true "artist", his suggestions and recommendation turned out a gorgeous custom shower for us! - Electrician, and plumbers did a great job as well -Chris has a good crew of people working with him. We are very pleased with the outcome of their labors. CONS: -A note about drywall finishing... we had our master bedroom walls, ceiling, and master bath finishing work done as part of this removation. Although the outcome of the work performed was excellent, the work being performed was extremely messy. During the course of the finish work (mudding the walls and skim coating), the mud got everywhere! I had to completely and I mean completely cover everything is his path, in my guest bath ( which I did not have the foresight to cover, all over my front door, my stone front porch down my driveway (he did not clean his shoes off entering and exiting my home). Needless to say he made a very messy job a whole bunch of work for me during the process. OVERALL: I would definately use CT Enterprises again, the quality of the work they perform, and the end results speak for themselves. If you are on a fence between contractors, don't hesitate to contact them. PHOTOS: I have not posted any photos as yet, due to our glass shower doors (separate vendor) have not yet been installed and we are still awaiting the delivery of the remainder of our furniture. If allowed I will post once those pieces are in place.

AYour Handyman
Very well! First, the Nickersons were timely in getting to my need and they were faithful to getting the project done in a timely manner. The Nickersons were treat at communication with me, did excellent work, even anticipated something that I had wished I had told them to do when I knew they were finished (namely to add a shower to the upstairs bathroom which they did with minimal cost. They tiled both of the bathrooms which not just anybody can do correctly. The beginning price was significantly lower than that of others for the specifications I gave them--and the promised work was of a higher quality than other bids. They made suggestions which made the overall project superior. They found materials at a much lower price--I am talking about one-third for the same materials elsewhere. The most important thing I can say is that they are trustworthy. Of course this means that they do exactly what they say they are going to do. But even beyond that is a spiritual matter--I could trust them with my money which is one of the highest compliments anyone can give to another person. I hope this gives the full scope as to why I recommend Your Handyman for any project you may have. I plan to call them when I have any need.

Recent Review: To use the old saying, "Paul goes the extra mile," is an understatement. Paul goes an extra two miles. Paul Ragan is a friendly professional. Paul does not believe in short cuts. The job took a few of days which was agreed upon and reasonable. Something you don't see from many contractors is that each and every end of the work day he cleaned the jobsite. On my job Paul worked with his son Brandon, also a true friendly professional. A question always asked is, would you hire Paul again, without a doubt. If fact we gave his name and number to someone we know looking to remodel a bathroom. A pleasure to work with and I can say, if you want it done right the first time - call (Paul) Ragan Construction

Recent Review: I had a vision of what I wanted my new bathroom to look like and he nailed it. He is easy to work with and is a perfectionist. He cleaned up and hid the tools when we had company come over, but most importantly, he gave me my dream bathroom. We plan to use him again for all of our future projects. I am happy to give the company a referral.
