We signed up for Provider name locked. phone service to replace our local phone service. Provider name locked. requires a high-speed Internet connection for phone calls. Provider name locked. provided me with a wireless Internet router that also has a plug for my phone. The quality of the calls seem to be a bit lower than with the phone company, but the price is about 1/3 of what we previously paid. I have noticed that if I have intense Internet traffic (file sharing, large downloads) the phone quality will be affected. In some cases it cuts out, but this is rare. We use our home phone service infrequently, so Provider name locked. works well for us. They also let you transfer your existing phone number, which is nice.- CHRIS & ROBIN J.
After a number of rescheduling efforts, the technician showed up, only to tell us we had been signed up for email and dsl by mistake, since Provider name locked. users are no longer supported by Provider name locked. . The technician was also reticent to install a phone Provider name locked. beyond the first floor. So only one phone Provider name locked. was installed. When we called to cancel, I was given the run around (including one customer service agent telling me that I did not even exist as a customer in their files, but later commenting that maybe it was just a computer problem he was having) and told that although they had now cancelled our service, I would still receive a bill and I would have to call again to get the charges reversed after I received that bill. I have since sent an email to Provider name locked. customer service asking for everything to be cancelled (although we will of course pay for the single phone Provider name locked. installation). I signed up with comcast this morning for my local, long distance, internet and cable. Their customer service was stellar.- KIRSTEN E.
