Excellent work. Nina took her time, explained every aspect of the procedure, and was very professional. I appreciated the calm, gentle, and soothing attitude she maintained during the entire time I was with her.

Total costs of treatment were not clear at initial consultation and treatment. I think Dr. Crutchfield is an extremely knowledgeable doctor, but after initial treatment of fillers, I was told they would finish in about 4-8 weeks. When I returned, they wanted to charge me an extraordinary amount of money to finish. They said I signed a contract at beginning of service, and I did, but the costs were penned in and crossed out and penned in again. Bottom line cost was not clear. I did not go back. They thanked me for my feedback on estimation of treatment contract/form, but were not willing to finish the treatment without me paying about $2,000 more dollars.

Dr. Anderson diagnosed the problem as being caused by allergies to chemical ingredients in certain soaps, perfumes and lotions. Recommended a topical cream and regular use of "free and clear" soaps and lotions.

Dr. Anderson diagnosed the problem as an allergic reaction to chemicals in some soaps, perfumes and lotions. He prescribed a topical cream and recommended that I use "free and clear" products and avoid bath and beauty products not designated as "free and clear".

My advice? There are so many other qualified derms in the area. He is the most visible and has a bit of celebrity status, but it's not worth it. I want someone who respects his client's time and understands that we don't have unlimited funds to get $250 facials.

Excellent service. Every member of the team did their best to make me comfortable, to explain every aspect of the surgery. The surgeon went out of his way to put me at ease and to describe all the options I had. In addition, he called me at my home that evening to check up on me and to give me a chance to ask questions.

The work done by the entire team was outstanding. Dr. Shaffer, the surgeon, took time to explain all aspects of the procedure to me. He and his team made me feel confident that I was in the best of hands. I am also impressed by their active involvement in my recovery.

Dr. Cook successfully diagnosed a condition that 6 different ophthalmologists and 2 doctors previously failed to diagnose correctly--finally allowing me to receive the appropriate treatment for it.  Thank you, Dr. Cook!

I had one of the Dermatologists at the St Paul/Snelling location do Juvederm injections in my cheeks.  It was my first time, so I relied on her judgment and experience.  The results were uneven (one cheek fuller than the other), so I went back hoping that she would correct it at no cost.  Her response was essentially that my cheeks were uneven to begin with and that she could inject more, but I would have to pay the regular price.  I  told her that she should have talked to me about my unevenness prior to the procedure so that we could have discussed using the procedure to correct it (or at the very least, managed my expectations).  Her response was that she could put in more (at regular cost), but that I still might be unhappy.  I told her that I didn't expect perfection, but that I did expect better than what I got.  Her response was 'perhaps filler isn't for you'.  I felt very condescended to and was upset that she wouldn't take any responsibility for unsatisfactory work.  It was a $1000 investment and I could not afford to have it done again. I will not go back.

I found a spot and when I told them that, they got me right in the next day.  I was very impressed with this as they are a busy clinic. The three times I was at their clinic, there was always a visiting doctor or medical student in the room with Dr. Crutchfield which some people may find uncomfortable.  I also felt like things were rushed - I had to ask for a full body scan after being diagnosed with melanoma prior to going in for surgery.  You would think this would be automatic when this is found and before surgery where everything could be addressed at one time.
My biggest issue though was with the billing.  I would feel my insurance company and I were overfilled for services.  I was billed for "destruct of Premalg lesion". "destruct Premalg Les 2-14" and "destruct Premlg Lesions 15+".  I would agree with the first two charges but in total, there was no way there was 15+ Premalg Lesions removed.  As a matter of principle, I called to question the charge and finally talked to Marsha and his PA Kelly M.  From September 2015 until March 2016, I was continuously calling to get clarification, was warnings that the overdue account was going to go to collections (even though it was them I was waiting on).  Finally, I ended up paying slightly more than the total I had questioned because of how they billed other things wrong the first time and I still had to pay for the "15+" lesion removals that never occurred.
I have stopped going to Crutchfield Dermatology and switched to Dermatology Specialists who have been one on one in the clinic room, spent all the time necessary to thoroughly inspect me on follow up visits and have billed in an appropriate manner.
