    Miller's Services
After reading other reviews and receiving a previous customer recommendation we went to Millers for the first time today. Had repairs on 1 of our 2 cars, and Millers will be our absolute GoTo Mechanic for all future repairs. We had received an estimate from one of the national brand mechanic shops, and their recommendation was that we replace all 4 brakes (and every single related component -- calipers, rotors...) and make repairs to both the suspension and drive train -- all to the tune of $1500. Millers did a complete once over and determined that the only thing that the car needed was new brake pads for a total of well under $200! Thanks, Millers!! We will definitely be back for future repair and maintenance needs!

    Burnsville Trailer Hitch
BUYER BEWARE!! Went in on 3/7 to have one of my trailer lights fixed as I needed it that night and didn't have the time to do it myself. These guys put in 4 butt splices and taped up my pig tale and charged me $300. Total rip off!!! GET AN ESTIMATE FIRST!!

    Larsen Motors
This review is for our many visits to Jake Larsen, and there isn't much I can do than add another A to the list. Jake is honest, friendly and truly excellent at keeping our vehicle in top shape at a reasonable price. Not only that, but they stand by their work. When a headlight failed within months of being replaced Jake replaced it again. I fully expected to pay for it again (a manufacturing defect isn't their fault, and they had to pay for the new part...). This was a $20 headlight, not a $200 one, but their willingness to make sure work is done right is so appreciated.

    ReliaCar Transportation
Flawlessly! ReliaCar is the best! Picked us up promptly on time, and kindly displayed a sign letting us know that our unmarked executive-grade automobile was on site after the last curtain call! Such professional conduct was especially important, given the massive crowd milling around the Ordway entrance after the performance! No other car service comes remotely close to ReliaCar in convenience, trustworthiness, safety and value!!

ProTech changed my oil, but the technicians did not properly reattach the skid plate. It was only partially attached and came loose while I was driving at 70 MPH on I-35. I had to stop on the interstate, jack my car up, and crawl underneath to completely detach it. ProTech repaired the damages, but refused to refund the oil change, even though it is what caused the problem in the first place. They also did not apologize and refused to provide any promotions for a free oil change to make up for endangering me by doing the job incorrectly.

    Apple Valley Collision Inc
Entire lift gate needed replacing. AV Collision got our vehicle in immediately after parts arrived and did the repairs plus detailing of the vehicle. Some problems occurred after the van was returned. AV Collision took the vehicle in and fixed the problem, no charge.

    LaMettry's Collision
I went there for the first time because it is a family locally owned and well respected business, but it ended with poor quality workmanship. Quarter panel repair almost took a month because of poor communication, the final product didn't look good and they scratched the bumper so they repainted everything, they picked up the remainder rental car tab because of the length to complete the job. Although they did complete the work with my satisfaction I will not be returning there or recommend their business.

Amazing experience. My 10 year old car was disgustingly dirty inside from years of carting dogs around and generally neglecting the interior. It had to be cleaned before I could consider selling it. I was stunned when I picked it up: it looked brand new. The interior was so clean and fresh looking. It even smelled good. In addition to that, they gave me a ride home when I dropped it off and picked me up when it was ready. The only minor downside was they had to keep it overnight. I guess they probably needed to as the car was pretty bad! Highly recommended.

    Carlson Auto of Maplewood
I took my 2000 Safari multiple times to Carlson's in Maplewood over about five weeks starting late Oct 2017. The van was stalling without warning. No power reduction, no hesitation, no coughing, no sputtering etc. The engine just stopped running. It would not restart after a stall, then started easily after sitting for 15 - 20 minutes. The van also needed two or three cranks to restart after normal driving, turn off and cooldown for 20 minutes. Carlson's said the fuel pump was bad and it needed a new fuel pump and filter. I was reluctant to do this major repair. Since the first stall, I had been reading posts on an on-line Astro/Safari forum run by people with extensive experience with these vans and the message there was that the behaviour was due to some electrical issue and not the fuel pump. I tried talking to Steve Weeks and Mike, the service advisor, about this but they were not interested. One day the van would not start at all. Called for a tow. Van started when the tow driver tried it, so drove to Carlson's. They were adamant that a bad pump was the cause of the problems. Steve said that if they were wrong they would put it right. With nothing else offered, I reluctantly authorized the pump/filter replacement. The first time the van had stalled was in traffic and I was anxious that it would do it again. I don't have the strength to steer or stop the van without power assistance and was lucky to be able to partially pull over and safely stop, helped by slow speed and travelling uphill. The last thing I said to Mike when I left the van with them was that I hoped they were right because I thought the cause was electrical. Two days after the pump/filter replacement the van stalled again. Same story as the previous stalls. No warning, no initial restart, then an easy start after sitting. The replacement had not fixed the stalling. Back to Carlson's, who couldn't reproduce the stall so the van came back to me. Three days later it would not start. Carson's sent two mechanics to my house who could not start it so arranged for a tow to the shop (about 1 1/4 miles). Diagnosed a bad ignition coil, which was replaced. Steve returned the van to me. He now said the bad coil was the cause of the starting problems, but continued to insist that the stalling was caused by the fuel pump and the replacement had fixed it, which was obviously not true because the van had stalled again. Carlson's focused on the fuel pump from the start. Even though the van stalled after the pump/ filter replacement in the same way it had stalled before the replacement, Steve would not accept that the diagnosis was wrong. Mistakes happen. When they do, they should be acknowledged and rectified. Carlson's carried the replacement and cost of the ignition coil, which lists for under $50 on the Napa parts website. I paid $1100 for an unneeded replacement of the fuel pump and filter. I drive few miles a year and even fewer than usual last winter because of my fear that the van might still stall without warning. It was May 2018 before enough miles had accumulated for me to be confident that the coil replacement had fixed both the stalling and starting issues. This review was posted previously on Yelp and Citysearch.

I needed a repair done on my van 10 days before I went on a cross-country trip. Most body shops couldn't even get me in before I was going to be gone. Crossroads, however, had an opening and they reassured me they would be able to accomplish the job in time for me to go on my trip as planned. They were true to their word: they worked efficiently, answered all my questions thoroughly, and listened patiently as I called (several times) to check on how things were progressing with my insurance company as well as with my van's repairs. The work appears to have been done very well, and they obviously work well with the insurance companies. Overall I am very pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them to a friend.
