    Twin Cities Siding Professionals
They TCSP team did a great job. I had hired them before to do windows(and siding) in other parts of our older home and liked the work so when it was time to replace more windows I hired them again. They are always responsive and if there are any questions or concerns they address them. To me, that is worth a lot. Special shout out to Brian, Curt, Steve and Brent.

    Aaztec Heating & Air
The whole process was seamless, as both crews worked hand and hand on the removal of the Kawanee Boiler (asbestos ect.. ect ...) torch out the unit, prep and install to current code. This was done as promised within the time frame and cost of the estimate given. TOTALLY SEAMLESS!!!

    Aaztec Heating & Air
I've had excellent luck with the guys from Aaztec heating and air. They've been on-time and professional and have done excellent work for me over the years. In addition, they've been willing to help me out with questions and forms for rental related inspections with the city of Minneapolis. They are straight forward and to the point. I recommend them highly.

    AFFORDABLE ABATEMENT COMPANY LLC
Mario and his son did a professional, flawless job - A+++! This job required 3 days. Work was planned perfectly and project goals communicated and accomplished as planned. The first day was setting up the required clean spaces and partitions for the asbestos abatement (Note: carpet runners were placed to protect our sidewalks). The asbestos wrap was removed on day two in a super clean process to reveal "like new" furnace plumbing pipes. Finally, the paneling in the large room was removed in a super clean process to reveal the concrete walls so that corrective action can be performed by a concrete specialist. We are amazed at how cleanly this highly technical asbestos removal and panel demolition was performed! Many thanks to Mario and his son for their professionalism and hard work!

    Bergo Environmental Inc
Bergo came highly recommended from a home insulation contractor, and I 100% echo their endorsement for asbestos abatement. Blair was quick to respond to all inquiries, and arrived on-time for each engagement. Removed about 300sq ft of tile in a 1911 basement, along with some wrapping around a pipe. Not only were they more affordable than other bids I received, but they took time to listen to concerns and provided solutions and answers to any questions. For peace of mind, Blair had a sample tested after Bergo removed the floor (using an independent lab), and the results confirmed the suspected asbestos. Look no further than these guys if you're ever in the same boat.

I was having my water heater replaced and the flue had to be removed. Mario and his assistant arrived on time, worked with and around the plumber and was able to remove the flue without cutting into any walls. He worked quickly but safely and got the job done in no time. He charged less than his estimate, which was the most reasonable of the quotes I received. Overall, great job and would hire again.

    TECHTRON ENGINEERING INC
They came and took samples for testing promptly and said the results would be back shortly. They didn’t notify us of the results (they notified our insurance but not us, the homeowners). They were hired to remove the asbestos in the popcorn of the ceiling after an ice dam caused water to leak in in February of 2019 (insurance claim). First quote was missing the hallway. Took 3 weeks to re-quote, still didn’t come look in person. Took another 3 weeks to get a phone call to make an appointment – the appointment was in 2 days. Told us the day before they arrived, when I asked, that they didn’t quote removing the 3 light fixtures and that would be our responsibility. After the first visit there was still asbestos in the corners everywhere the ceiling met the walls AND they had painted down on the walls and kitchen cabinets. Their tape took off large chips of paint off the cabinets and heat register. They broke some of our refrigerator magnets. They moved our belongings, but didn’t put them back. When they came back to “re-work”, they informed us the morning they arrived that they would paint the walls themselves and what color did we want? We didn’t have a color picked out – didn’t know they would be painting – made a suggestion to match the yellow color of an adjacent room – came home to “Circus Peanut Orange”. Not only was it an atrocious color, they missed spots, got paint on the door trim and baseboards, left big drips, and left craters in the wall from where they removed the clear corner protectors, which took wall with them, and they didn’t fill the craters. Then they refused to cover the damages, or get a quote to determine the damages. Their insurance probably would have paid for the improper and negligent workmanship, but they never offered. I had to take them to court for the lack of reasonable care they displayed. They finally paid up in January of 2020. BEWARE of Tom Key and Techtron Engineering. They do not care about customer satisfaction.

    Asbestos Abatement Associates
I called Asbestos Abatement Associates in a slight panic on a Friday because we were having carpet installed into our basement and the work was halted because there was what was believed asbestos in the tiles under the tack strips and the workers would not move forward until it was tested and cleaned up. Richard called back immediately and set an appointment for the following Monday morning. Within 24 hours we had the results and were able to schedule the cleanup for the following day. The office worker Nancy was extremely helpful in clarifying what we would need to provide our carpet installers as well as what the cost and scope of work for the cleanup would be. The cleanup crew were punctual, courteous and very professional. While I hope I never have to...I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Wonderful service top to bottom.

    Asbestos Abatement Associates
Mr. Pruit was an amazing font of information about when asbestos is and is not a threat, and on the steps for code compliant removal. He inspected our wrapped heating pipes and said that no work was needed because the fraying we saw in a few places was only the wool pack - the asbestos core was much deeper. He did give us a quote for sealing all the pipe wrapping, but he did not feel it was necessary. He pointed out that in older homes like ours (almost 100 years old), the basement plaster sometimes contained asbestos - so we agreed to have samples taken (3 from various parts of basement) for analysis. Happily, results were negative - no asbestos. We really appreciated the level of knowledge and honesty of Mr. Pruit.
