    The St. Louis Plastering Company
St. Louis Plaster (Trent) was AWESOME! I had water damage to one wall that needed repaired and repainted as well as 2 bedrooms and a hall that had 2 layers of wallpaper over the plaster walls AND ceilings! I had several bids for the job and St. Louis Plaster was more than half price than another plaster company, and the plaster and paint price was less than another company that only did painting, so the price was definitely right. I was working on a time line to get my rooms finished before getting furniture delivered and Trent worked with me to get everything done in time. I even asked for some extra work that I hadn't originally requested when I bid for the job and he really bent over backwards to get all my work done when I kept adding to my job. I'm so glad I found St. Louis Plaster on Angie's list. I will be using them for all of my plaster work and repairs.

Tony came out and gave an estimate free of charge. He was straightforward, respectful and prompt. We agreed to do the job the following day, and he arrived with his crew bright and early. Everyone was polite and efficient. They worked hard without breaks and got the job done in less than three hours. They were happy to explain everything to me as they were doing it. Tony was particularly proud to show me the leveling of the paver, as it turned out to be about a foot thick. It was an impressive sight to see him jacking it up and then filling in the hole, jack and all, with hydraulic concrete. After they finished the job, they went through and cleaned up after themselves, borrowing our vacuum cleaner and then washing the floors by hand with vinegar to remove any spilled plaster or plaster dust. In the end, the plaster that was replaced is smoother and better looking than anywhere else in the house. The stucco is repaired without losing its texture or looking like it was patched. And, of course, the patio paver is leveled and no longer looks like it's about to go sliding down the hill. I would strongly recommend Tony and his crew for any work you have involving plaster, stucco or masonry. Living in a 100 year old house, I'm sure that I will need some repairwork again in the future and I'll give Tony a call to do it.

    Schulz Painting - Remodeling Company
It went smooth & even better than planned. Whenever the carpet was ripped up for the new padding & carpet to be laid a hole was found for where a table was plugged in before. The carpet guys just wanted to put a pad over it & move on. Unfortunately it was right in my pathway of where I was going to be using Alot!! I didn't know what to do b/c they were rushing/puahing to get it done & I KNEW I would regret it later on!! So I called Tom. He calmed me down & said what I needed to get from Home Depot that was close by. By the time I came back he was there. He mixed up this quick setting concrete, poured it in & Poof hole was gone along with being Smooth now!! Tom is a Team player tho he's committed to doing things the correct/best way for what the customer needs & wants. Needless to say, I got a new carpet installer.

    Schulz Painting - Remodeling Company
Excellent experience. I highly recommend Schulz Painting - Remodeling! The owner, Tom Schulz, does much, much more than painting. I don't know how many years experience he has, but whatever the number, he is knowledgeable, experienced and seasoned. More than that, he has the big vision that you can't teach; either you have it or your don't. And this guy has it. My project is a multifamily and I had a lot going on. Plumbing, electric and remodeling. Multiple units at the same time. Some of the units were occupied, some vacant. And I had a deadline when tenants were moving into two units in the building. Tom's work priorities shifted as needed, reflecting to me that he understood the nature, scope and time needed to get the project done on time. It was 100% completed on time. And he worked really hard to keep it on track. Seriously, many (most) contractors would have blown the deadline. For Tom, that wasn't an option. He really, really took care of me. He did more work than was on the bid. He worked with every other contractor onsite - electrician, plumber, hard wood refinishing crew. He even helped them do their jobs better. For example, he removed the quarter round from baseboards in two units before they sanded. And once they were done with the finish coat and the floor had dried, he cut, painted and installed new quarter round. Then he repainted all the baseboards. It made the floors pop. He really took their work and made it look much better. Those small details that really give a project a significant lift, Tom did it. Tom does excellent work. Done right, the first time. His price was competitive. Quality of work was impeccable. There were days he worked 10 hours. He was focused and intentional. He stayed in communication with me about his work plan for that day. Progress as made every single day. He cleaned up the work site every day. He was flexible in working with other contractors. More than flexible, he helped each one of them in specific, tangible ways. He made helpful suggestions to the electrician. He helped the plumber on a tight spot. The project Tom did for me involved remodeling 2 bathrooms + 2 kitchens, repair plaster, hang crown molding, install ceramic flooring in both bathrooms (which involved pouring the concrete sub floor). Tom's carpentry skills on the quarter round and the crown molding are spot on perfect. No gaps. In the process of doing the bathrooms, he did everything - drywall, paint, tub surround, installed sink + pantry closet, sweat copper lines, installed shower head, lighting, installed ceramic tile on bathroom floor, mastic + grout + sealer. Every day, before he came to the job site, he had created a spreadsheet for every 30 minute period of the day, what he was going to accomplish on the job site. Tom delivers results. I was impressed, pleased and had peace of mind. I have absolutely no reservation, no hesitation giving Tom highest acknowledgement and highest recommendations. If you want quality and peace of mind, if you want your remodel done right, call Tom Schulz. I stand behind my recommendation. I am willing to post pictures or answer inquiries. My name is Carol K. and if you have questions about my review and want corroboration, Tom can put you in touch with me. I am a very pleased, very satisfied customer.

Excellent job all around. Work was completed in one day. Crew arrived early and worked throughout the day to complete the project by the evening. Tony came back two days later to inspect after the concrete set and to ensure that project met our expectations. Would strongly recommend Irish Construction!

    Creative Colour Painting
I cannot recommend Creative Colour Painting enough. Mike and his team repainted our entire home. It was a big project with lots of details and built ins. The team was outstanding in ALL aspects. The consultation with Mike was low pressure, and the quote was detailed and honest. A team of 5 painted our house (it's 3 floors and 4600 square feet). Every painter was kind and professional. The team was respectful, thoughtful and thorough. Our home looks AMAZING now. Mike and team took great care of our place and did a great job. This crew is professional and really good at what they do. Hire them! We definitely will again when it's time to repaint our home exterior.

    Lockwood Decorating Contractors Inc
I have used Lockwood before for painting. I left a message 6-18-19, Ken returned my call and visited our house on time for the appointment. He said he was a few weeks behind but put us on the schedule. He emailed a proposal. I mailed him a deposit of $340. The workers came by appointment 7-29-19, on time, friendly and polite. They finished the morning of 7-30-19, cleaned up thoroughly. The work looks great. The plaster repair is invisible. The ugly, stained porch ceiling looks like new. This is the second time I've used them. There's never wasted time or confusion and they do a neat, beautiful job.

    Vargas Tuckpointing
The size of this job was daunting for me. Adrian and his team came in and knocked it out in a couple days. The team was absolutley amazing, non stop workers that do a great job. Worked around a sleeping baby and was always super polite. They went the extra mile on almost the entire project, helping repair a few extra things to make the job even better. I can't say thank you enough to Adrian and his team. I will use them for all my projects going forward. Also, Pricing was perfect!
