Des Provider name locked. office is dirty, crowded and scheduled appointment time is never met. Appointments are often 1-2 hours late.
- Kathleen W.
Well, this was a long and agonizing story before I was finally sent to Dr. Provider name locked. . I had ruptured two lower lumbar disks and was in excruciating pain. The original doctor I saw offered no relief. He just prescribed Vicodin, which didn't touch the pain. When I told him this he referred me to a neurosurgeon who couldn't get me in for six weeks- still no pain relief. I was confined to bed in complete agony before I finally begged my way into a spine specialist who told me that my options for surgical intervention were not great- fusion- and recommended that I see Dr. Provider name locked. , in hopes of avoiding surgery.
From the moment Dr. Provider name locked. entered the room I felt hopeful. She has an amazing bedside manner. She sat down, pulled out her iphone and showed me an MRI. She asked what I thought of it and I told her it looked almost as bad as mine. She told me it was hers so she did know where I was coming from. After dealing with a doctor for the past two weeks who had spent no more than 3 minutes at a time with me, I felt like someone was at least going to take the time to come up with a working plan. I had always thought of pain management as drug pushers and while I welcomed some shirt term narcotic relief, I told her I did not want that to be my life. She assured me that this was not how it worked, gave me perscriptions for a steroid pack and some other pain killers which gave INSTANT relief that night. She arranged for aquatic physical therapy an epidural injection.
Although I'm only a few days into her treatment- I feel amazing. The pain is still there but it's tolerable. I slept through the night for the first time in weeks and was able to sit to eat breakfast. Provider name locked. things but after 2 weeks of not being able to sit or stand for more than 5 minutes at a time, it's a huge boost for my frame of mind. I urge anyone in a similar situation to see her while you wait to get into that specialist who may not have an appointment for 4-8 weeks. She has given me a plan and I'm hopeful I may be able to avoid surgery. I can't even begin to express the relief she has given me.- Kristina F.
Dr. Provider name locked. has been seeing my mother for about two years. He is a kind and gentle physician who seems to care about his patients. He compliments her and encourages her along with giving her the nerve block. Mother always feels better physically and mentally after seeing him. It can't be easy dealing with patients who are in chronic pain but he seems to be excellent at what he does.- Bill M.
