    Took 4 months, multiple meetings with management, and ultimately many interactions with BBB to get the $400 back. Very disappointed in Wellbridge: Their high pressure sales tactics, poor staff environment that led to therapist leaving, and then the state of their gym and pool compared to the neighboring gyms. Neighboring gym, Clayton Center, has more and newer equipment, plus a track and basketball court, and pool that isn't in the basement dungeon as at Wellbridge. Wellbridge then charges 3times more! Pictures attached show their spa document and policies which clearly do NOT state there is no-refund policy.

    Was excellent. Felt so much better. Lynn took the time to explain process, suggest some stretches, referred a chiropractor. Saw the chiro last Friday and that went very well! Will be going back for another massage in two weeks and chiro next week. Very pleased.

    It was an uncomfortable massage. I didn't feel like it was effective from a relaxation perspective. It felt like she was wrapping up at one point, and then realized that there was much more time left and started back over.

    The cost is $50. They listen to what I want and they do what I ask them to do. They don’t try to impose their own thing on me. Their staff is very friendly. They explain everything to me. I think their price is a little high but that’s ok. They always explain to me what they are going to do certain things. They tell me exactly what they are going to do and they ask if it is ok if they do that.

    It does not take long to realize who the type of person you are dealing with when you go to Alice. You're seeing a professional, who loves what she does. 
    The clues are all around you- in the ambience, her approach to massage, and for me as a physician, I was very impressed when I looked over on her bookshelf and caught a glimpse of the types of resources she keeps on hand. She has at least half a dozen different anatomy texts, and amongst a dozen other texts on musculoskeletal pathology, a multivolume tome on 'myofascial pain syndrome'. That was enough for me.
    Alice has the warm, nurturing personality you would expect from a massage professional, without the fluff. She is clearly a person who understands what massage can do and has spent years perfecting her craft.

    The receptionist was very kind and helpful, got him in the next day,
    and everything about it, he said, was great. The therapist, Adam, was
    very helpful, professional, encouraging , and it gave him some relief. He, and I, were impressed that although they must have known they would not get his business in the future, as he lives 13 hours away, they still treated him as though they would! Adam gave good suggestions about how to ease his pain afterwards.

    She is fabulous. Actually I see her at my office. She does chair massages and she is fantastic. If I was walking in there with a crook in my neck and when I come out I don't have that crook anymore. I've been seeing her for maybe five times in year. She is always right on time.

    I had purchased a groupon for their massage services and opted for a deep tissue massage. I get them once a year or so--and I think they are a great way to combat some chronic tight, sore muscles.
    During my first visit, I was given some pressure-filled speech about joining their pricey club--monthly rates for services I wasn't interested in. I was there for a relaxing experience, not a sales pitch.
    The massage was terrible. Having been the recipient of several deep tissue massages before, I knew something wasn't right. But not being a masseuse myself, I didn't know how to tell them to change their technique beyond and quot;that hurtsand quot;. Long story--they ended up messing up my neck pretty bad. I had limited movement for weeks. When I called to speak to the manager about it, she was quick to defend her employee, and treated me like this was my first experience with the deep tissue intensity. After telling her repeatedly that I was accustomed to better massages elsewhere, I was wanting my money back and for MassageLuxe to cover the costs of subsequent chiropractic care after mangling my neck. She refused and talked me into coming back for a and quot;free 30 minuteand quot; massage to reverse the problem. I was skeptical to say the least.
    I went back for my follow up appointment. I tried not to let my frustrations be known to the new therapist, but when I saw the 100lb. woman who was going to somehow untangle my aching neck, I was worried. Somehow she had the brunt force I needed to drive out whatever the first massage therapist caused. I was relieved to feel better, but there is one thing for certain: I will not be returning to this location or any MassageLuxe ever again.

    I had heard from a friend that Barb had a gift. I have had pain in my shoulder when I raised my arm and tension in my upper back and neck area. I scheduled a visit for a massage with Barb. The office is decorated very serene. I received a 90 minute session with Barb. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The treatment was wonderful. I realized after a couple of days, my shoulder did not hurt when I raised my arm. I scheduled another appointment for one month later

    Janice always is on time, and customizes my massage for me. She is very professional and quickly figured out the right amount of pressure for me. I recommend getting heat therapy as well - it adds another level of release. :)
