    WESTWAY CLEANERS
Took several shirts into Westway Ellisville to have washed/starched. Got one expensive polo dress shirt back with large tear in it. (Picture attached) Took it back. Explained that shirt was not "new" but it was not ripped when brought in. Clerk said she could do nothing for me. Asked for manager. Same story -- literally "I can't do anything for you." Continued to get a lecture about how when shirts get wet they can tear. I listened in disbelief. I was fully prepared to "write the shirt off" until i was treated by management as i was. Not even a "sorry", a nominal credit for future washes, etc. Nothing. That's it for me. Don't use this place. They do not know the meaning of customer service and they damage your clothing.

    MORITZ REUSCH JEWELRY INC
Superb customer service. They spent a ton of time to help me a find a ring and diamond I would love. The owners son helped and he was an absolute pleasure. I felt no pressure to spend a certain amount of money, and was shown diamonds that were in a range of value. They worked hard to show me diamonds, listening carefully to what I liked and didn't like and adjusting what they showed me based on really listening and getting to know what I was looking for. I couldn't speak higher of my experience. My ring is stunning, and I receive compliments on it all the time. Truly the best customer service I have received.

    Alterations U City
I called on a Friday evening a week before prom and she was great! I didn't need to make an appointment. Saturday hours are from 9-12. I went in about 9.30 with my daughter who tried her dress on with shoes and the whole fitting took about 10 minutes. It cost only $20!!! I was expecting much more than that. The seamstress was fantastic, friendly, did a great job. I will definitely be using them again! This is not a fancy place or location but the work was done very well.

    Concord Cleaners
This business has been under new ownership for about a year. I had used their services prior to the sale of the business and been very pleased, so I took two large drapery panels in to be dry cleaned. When I picked the panels up and brought them home, I unfolded them and noticed the panels were ruined. The center layer of the curtains had been melted or destroyed by some other means and was cracked and flaking off with pieces of it falling out of the bottom of the curtains. The curtain panels were unable to be ru-hung or repaired. I returned to the store at approximately 2pm the same day. The associate was not helpful and stated that there was nothing she could do and I would have to contact the manager (Mary) the next day, as no manager was available either on the premises or by phone despite it being normal business hours. In response to my asking for at least the $52.00 cleaning fee to be refunded, the associate stated she had no authority to do so, but did inform me "there is no way she (Mary) is giving you your money back". My husband called Mary the next day and she refused to take any responsibility, return the cleaning fee or provide any compensation for the ruined drapes. Mary stated that the drapes were cleaned according to the tag on the panels. My husband reminded her that he was not present for the cleaning and had no idea what she had done to the panels, only that the center layer was intact when dropped they were dropped off and ruined when picked up. Mary advised my husband to contact the owner, Mr. Tim Rogers. My husband attempted to contact Mr. Rogers twice by phone, leaving a message each time. Mr. Rogers never bothered to call back. A complaint was filed with the BBB and again the company has refused to take any responsibility. I now have to pay to replace the drapery panels and have to pay for a service that I was clearly unsatisfied with. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever received. Check the Yelp reviews, mine is not an isolated incident. Obviously, this company doesn't care about its customers' satisfaction or if they return.

This experience took place at the Concord Village location of Concord Cleaners, which is part of the business and has the same owner and manager as South County Cleaners. Yummy Vangogh Jewelry Inc
Within a week, I was notified that the piece was repaired. When I picked it up, it was perfect! I was amazed at the accuracy and quality of work for a necklace I brought to them as a bag of loose stones and metal and a broken chain. Any future jewelry repair needs I have, Nate and Lisa will be who I call without a doubt!

    DECKER TAILORING
I was out there about three months ago and they stopped taking credit cards. There was no sign. He knew I was coming in. He had my phone number. He did not call. He kept on saying he was sorry and asked if I could go to the bank. He, at one point, did higher-end things like weddings and proms. Things like that, but things have changed. When I came in with jeans and sweatshirts that I wanted tailored or fixed, I got an attitude of I was trash. So, I brought in a check and the bank did not catch it. He quoted me one price. When I came in with the check, he quoted me another which was higher. I did not argue with him. I realized at that point I was not coming back and he run the check through twice. It went through on one day and he put it through again on the next. It was not as though it did not go through and so he tried it again. There was no apology.

I've used SCC for about a year, I've probably had 10 or 12 orders with them.  They lost two of my dress pants the last time I used them.  They did apologize, but didn't make any kind of offer for coupons or discount on future service.  While losing dry cleaning is not unheard of and not the end of the world, I feel that this business could probably do a better job about it.  Unlike any other place I have ever been to, half the time I went to SCC I didn't get an itemized ticket.  Meaning, they wouldn't give me a ticket that stated I dropped off 5 shirts and 3 pants.  And, the last time I went, the lady mentioned I didn't need a ticket and didn't give me one.  When I returned for my laundry, they only had my shirts.  My pants were not present and they stated they had no record of them.  I probably should have been more forceful about receiving an itemized ticket.  Learn from my mistake.

    The Jewelry Shoppe
When I took the watch into the Shoppe I was told the approximate time it would take to repair the watch, the approximate cost of the repair and he was dead on with both. Not only was the initial repair taken care of but there was another issue that was discovered and repaired also. All the replaced parts were returned.
