  • Took 4 months, multiple meetings with management, and ultimately many interactions with BBB to get the $400 back. Very disappointed in Wellbridge: Their high pressure sales tactics, poor staff environment that led to therapist leaving, and then the state of their gym and pool compared to the neighboring gyms. Neighboring gym, Clayton Center, has more and newer equipment, plus a track and basketball court, and pool that isn't in the basement dungeon as at Wellbridge. Wellbridge then charges 3times more! Pictures attached show their spa document and policies which clearly do NOT state there is no-refund policy.

  • I signed up for MyHeritage.com and was unhappy with the results of the searches I conducted. As I was dissatisfied, I signed up for other online search sites that proved to be more helpful. I called MyHeritage after I saw the annual charge for $74.99 on my charge card. My goal was to get a prorated credit for the unused service. On my first call, I was disconnected by the MyHeritage phone system before I could speak with a person. On my second call, I waited approximately an hour before I was connected with an agent. The agent was combative and refused to refund the charge. He said he would speak with a manager. After speaking with the manager, he said the best they would do was to refund me 30% (22.49) of the $74.99. I don't know how they came up with this amount as it seemed somewhat arbitrary. I told the agent I was dissatisfied with that resolution and would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I also intended to contact Angie's List. This did not change his demeanor, so I expressed my displeasure again and we ended the call. As I suspected, they had a service guarantee of some sort. When I checked the MyHeritage.com website as soon as I got off the phone with the agent, I found and I quote, "MyHeritage values the satisfaction of its customers and offers a thirty (30) day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchased plan you may request a full refund by contacting Customer Support within thirty (30) days of the initial purchase date of the subscription. The money back guarantee applies to Premium and Premium Plus family site subscriptions and to Data subscriptions and Complete subscriptions, but not to shipped products such as family tree posters. Please allow a reasonable time for the refund to be charged to your account." As I had not been enrolled in the Data subscription for 30 days and had expressed I was dissatisfied with the service, I should have received a full refund on my initial call. It is also relevant to note that I called MyHeritage back within 5 minutes of speaking with the original agent; after I found the Refund Guarantee on the MyHeritage.com website, and the system said no one was available to take my call. It was still during business hours so someone should have been available. The agent also said that I would have to manually opt out of future renewals via an email he would send me. When I asked if he could just opt me out over the phone, he said he couldn't do that. I quote again from the MyHeritage website, "You may opt out of renewing your subscription by calling MyHeritage at +1-877-432-3135, or by logging in and utilizing the My Purchases page." Based on the website verbiage, the agent should have allowed me to opt out over the phone on the original call when I asked about this. Needless to say, I am very disenchanted with MyHeritage and would discourage Angie's List members from doing business with this website. The search results are not satisfactory and the customer service is horrible.

  • Massage was good. They talk you into a package for monthly massages. They do not inform you that you must appear in person or provided certified mail to cancel contract. Please beware of this provider and take read carefully anything you sign. Never take their word for anything. I will never go back here again.

  • Was excellent. Felt so much better. Lynn took the time to explain process, suggest some stretches, referred a chiropractor. Saw the chiro last Friday and that went very well! Will be going back for another massage in two weeks and chiro next week. Very pleased.

  • It was an uncomfortable massage. I didn't feel like it was effective from a relaxation perspective. It felt like she was wrapping up at one point, and then realized that there was much more time left and started back over.

  • I've done the massage envy thing and for what you pay and get out of it is nothing compared to Spa Chi. At massage envy it's hit or miss and the pricing is ridiculous. At Spa Chi each masseuse is trained in the art of chinese massage and it is the same no matter who you get. For the ladies it's $50 per hour, men is $60. For a $120 you get two solid hours of relaxation. I was hesitant to even submit this for fear the place will explode with business but it is that good. Heck, you can call 20 minutes ahead and get in, I've never sat in the waiting area more than five minutes. And yes you get the bottle of water after...

  • The cost is $50. They listen to what I want and they do what I ask them to do. They don’t try to impose their own thing on me. Their staff is very friendly. They explain everything to me. I think their price is a little high but that’s ok. They always explain to me what they are going to do certain things. They tell me exactly what they are going to do and they ask if it is ok if they do that.

  • I would recommend Dr. Todd Frisch. He is very experienced and very, very good at what he does. He can diagnose very well and he is a very good listener. He is open too, doing what he used to do to get you eased up. You can barely feel it, the needles. They are really, really good. It depends, some days I can feel it more than others but it depends on how much you need to have it. Some days I can't even feel it and other days I can feel it the whole time but it is like a tiny little pinch. It doesn't hurt at all, really. It is hugely helpful.

  • It does not take long to realize who the type of person you are dealing with when you go to Alice. You're seeing a professional, who loves what she does. 
    The clues are all around you- in the ambience, her approach to massage, and for me as a physician, I was very impressed when I looked over on her bookshelf and caught a glimpse of the types of resources she keeps on hand. She has at least half a dozen different anatomy texts, and amongst a dozen other texts on musculoskeletal pathology, a multivolume tome on 'myofascial pain syndrome'. That was enough for me.
    Alice has the warm, nurturing personality you would expect from a massage professional, without the fluff. She is clearly a person who understands what massage can do and has spent years perfecting her craft.

  • Dr. Todd is a very kind man, very intelligent. I believe he has a gift for what he does. He has helped many of my family members with conditions ranging from depression to fibromyalgia to intestinal parasites. Insurance does not recognize the value of this practice so the payment is out of pocket, but I believe that the assessment and resulting report is well worth the $250. We also purchased supplements and they were reasonably priced and we are already seeing some changes from just a few days of treatment. We are very grateful for this man's practice and how he has helped us with some pretty serious conditions.
