Seattle Carpenters Reviews

"He was very helpful. He advised me that rather than adapt my aging cabinets to hold dishwashers, I wait until I was ready to replace them entirely, as that would end up being cheaper - and far more aesthetically pleasing - than
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
-rigging my cabinets. I really appreciate his honesty and will seriously consider him when it comes time to do this work.
I left messages for two other local builders on Angie's List, and neither ever called me back. I appreciate the fact that
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
called me back promptly, even though I ended up not having the work done at this time.

"I employed
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
over a period of 6 months for many jobs, large and small, during a remodel of my condo. There are many good things I can say but I was most impressed by his attention to detail, care and positive attitude. His work was always very detailed, clean and on point.

came out to look at my project before Thanksgiving. He's a nice enough young man, and may be a qualified stair builder, but needs much more experience in scheduling estimates and bidding a project. He didn't show up for the first appointment, so I had to call and follow up. Although he did show up for the second appointment and promised to provide me with a bid via e-mail, I never received his bid. He did leave me a voice mail in January following up on the bid he "said" he submitted three weeks earlier (the bid I never received) ... which would have been one month after he initially looked at my project, much too late for me to consider. I do have to give him some credit for following up with me in January, but the scheduling and bidding process were way below par. I had already hired another contractor to do the job. .

Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was very professional and very talented in carpentry and general home improvement skills. He wrote out a clear proposal with the jobs to be performed and gave a competitive bid. He came on time and had no problem rescheduling a day that we had guests. He was great at troubleshooting a separate issue that we asked him to look at that wasn't part of the original job/proposal. We would definitely hire
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
again and be assured that we would be getting quality work done.

"It went very well.
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
were very responsive (responding quickly to phone calls, texts and emails), friendly, helpful and professional.
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
came and gave us a quote for the tear down and framing before the project and stuck exactly to the price he gave. Installation of the floors plus doors and trim was negotiated during the project and ther price for that work was very fair.
Throughout the project they were friendly and very helpful. They offered to build us a walk in wardrobe (and did not charge us for this in the end) informing us that the new room would not count as a bedroom if we did not do this. This was extra work for them, for no extra money.
They always cleaned up after themselves very well. They also cleaned up after our other contractors (plumber/electrician) who left a mess and did not care to clean up.
They were way more helpful than they needed to be - offering to pick up materials that we had agreed to provide (doors etc). Again - this cost them extra work and we did not pay extra.
They also did more than we expected when doing the trim work, going as far as caulking everything in.
Any little details that were not as they liked them, they took care of, returning as many times as it took to get the work up to their own standards of quality, which were high. This effort I really appreciated. We did not have to raise any issues with them as anything we might have thought to comment on, they already took care of on their own initiative before we had a
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to comment on it. They also took care of a few things we would not have noticed.
All in all a pleasure to work with and very good value for money.

"Trek-Line put a new IB pvc membrane roof and skylights on our MCM house. Their quote was in the bottom half of the 5 we received in terms of overall dollar amount, but their bid included top end IB material. They were able to start our job sooner than their competitors, which also lead us to select their bid. We had some water damage that required carpentry, which was billed at a reasonable rate and was addressed promptly. After the job was complete the owners stopped in for a follow up and addressed a few final, aesthetic touch up requests right away.
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was a great company to work with, and would recommend them based on our experience.

"We highly recommend
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
. We hired
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
based on two previous jobs they had done that involved home remodels and we liked their work and professionalism so much that we decided to hire them for multiple projects. The service was excellent and the job and space were complicated taking a lot of skill and experience. The job extended over a 6-8 month period.

"The quality of work was excellent. After it was completed the only call back was one of the chimney caps came loose and tipped over during the wind storm. They quickly came out and repaired.
The job was complex and it was performed completely to my satisfaction. The interior drywall work was done by
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
. He is an artist. If you need sheetrock work done, call for
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
as he is the best I have ever seen.
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is a master carpenter and his interior trim work was the best. He did all the inside and outside carpentry work and did a great job. The painter
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
also did superb work. All the people did excellent and quality work. The roofing crew were top-notch and the gutter installers were the best.
There were some delays in the project that had to do with Oasis scheduling which should not be my problem. These delays were not due to a window that needed to be re-ordered. I felt my interior work should have been worked on and completed right after the new windows were installed (except the re-ordered window). I waited over 2 1/2 weeks to get my interior completed and the new hardware on my doors. They used the old hardware on the new doors temporarily during that time. That was not acceptable and was expressed so.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the work. I have heard many nightmare stories from folks who did major remodels and I did not have one with Oasis - albeit the delays. I would recommend them, but spell out the timing and scheduling details to prevent delays not due to supply vendors.

"I sent an email got an immediate response from Bill. He showed up on time with his counterpart and fixed my door in a short period of time. Bill is very knowledgeable about various household projects and sounds like he can take on just about any job.
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
's Best did a great job.

"I contacted
Seattle Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to install 2 interior door and jams which I had on site- he was unable to take on the job because some minor adjustments would have to be done to the opening to have them slide in- like cut drywall at the header. I also asked abut turning a thermostat around in a wall so it faced outward (no wires changed) and it required drywall to be cut and patched. It all seemed like too much for him, so he declined the job. I was disappointed he did not have what I thought were failry basic skills to do the work. My best advice is to have him be clear about his skills and abilities so time is not wasted waiting for him to respond. He seemed like a great guy, just did not have the expertise for what I needed.
