  • Surge Provider name locked. responded to my telephone message and agreed to come out on Memorial Day morning to evaluate the job. He arrived early and did a good job of explaining the various options, and the price ranges involved.1. Replace the railing with a new railing could be done but there was a risk that the concrete where the old bolts attached the railing would be seriously damaged. In addition, new railings would be built to a set of design requirements and would not match the other railing.2 Remove the railing and repair it at the shop. Surge was confident that the railing could be restored to like new condition in the shop. The possibility of concrete damage remained.3. Repair in place using welding equipment mounted on a truck. The equipment had the capability of heating more than one bent rail at a time, making it easier to realign the rails. The third option was chosen and the repairs completed later that week. We were pleased with the job and the knowledge that Surge provided. See attached photos.

  • Provider name locked. handles most of the customer interaction; he is very personable, prompt and communicates very well. He calls if they are going to be 15 mins late (which didn't happen often), he is very sensitive to budget and always presents options. The quality of their work is outstanding. They have very high integrity and a strong work ethic: lots of tradespeople say they work like it was their own project, Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. really do. They are also fun guys to work with: upbeat, can-do attitudes. Whenever we hit an obstacle (which is inevitable during remodeling), they were able to devise creative, effective solutions.

  • He was wishy washy on the price until I made it clear that I wanted a clear bid upfront. He finally settled on $350 but I had to prompt him to get the total amount with the materials. The reason I ended up not wanting to do business with him is that he said that I should "meet him somewhere" to give him a check. He said he didn't "trust" the post office. He later called back and left me a message saying that his mailbox was robbed blah blah blah. It all just made me nervous and seemed very unprofessional.
