Sports Medicine reviews in Seattle

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Dr. Provider name locked. performed arthroscopic rotator cuff repair on my left shoulder. He is one of the top orthopedic surgeons in Seattle, practicing through UW Sports Medicine. He is highly competent at performing this procedure arthroscopically, and I believe I had a somewhat faster and easier recovery with this approach. I was age 52 at the time, now 58, and have full use of my repaired shoulder. In fact, I have done heavier work since my surgery, purchasing and landscaping 2 homes in succession, with a lot of heavy labor involved. Dr. Provider name locked. is knowledgable and available. He answered all my questions, promptly answered emails I sent with further questions, and was informative about the surgery, recovery, and physical therapy that would be involved.

  • He zeroed in on the problem immediately and recommended further tests to confirm his diagnosis. The tests confirmed his suspicions. I am now scheduled for surgery. He compared both knees for a baseline and recomended a number of supplements to cut down on the inflammation in my other knee, which has arthritis from prior injuries, wear and tear. I am not used to a western doctor being so knowledgable about non-prescription anti-inflammatory agents.

  • So far, each day I am seeing small improvements. My physical therapist is an encourager and reminds me to take small steps and not to overdo the exercises. She is very careful to make sure I am doing the exercises correctly and not to push myself
