    PRO.COM HOME SERVICES
My experience with the employees of Pro.com far exceeded my expectations. I needed an electrical upgrade that included changing the strike location that would allow me to make extensive upgraded to my home. I had done my research, while I had attempted to get electrical businesses to provide a quote, 4 of them would not commit to a site visit anywhere from 30 days to 3 months due to their heavy backlog, so ended up with a plan to have seven different available electrical businesses provide a quote for services. The first 3 that came by, while professional, just lacked the personality to make me feel comfortable having them work on my home and their price was a bit high from my expectations. Each let me know they had plenty of business and this would be a side job and planning would take from 4 months to nearly 6 months before they could fit me in. Pro.com was the 4th business to visit. Their representative was Zack. After a brief explanation of my goals, I showed Zack where I needed the upgrade as well as the location of exterior strike and the issues with it (the power line was attached to my roof which was grandfathered in but was a bit of a problem since I wanted to build a 2nd floor and therefore the line would be a bit of a problem). Zack took me through the work item details in a manner that a non-electrician (like me) could understand without making me feel uncomfortable. He answered all my questions and concerns. He suggested an amazing solution that would save me money. Before leaving, he let me know that he would provide a quote within 24 hours. I received his quote (very fair and beat the others!) before the other planned business had arrived to assess the site and provide their quote. My interactions with Zack the day before, that I felt he was not taking advantage of me and suggesting cost saving ideas, led me to cancel the other businesses and go with Pro.com. Zack provided amazing resources who did the work. They were respectful of my house and my time and kept me in the loop during the work. The team members were easy to talk to and answered any of my questions regarding the work they were doing. They provided amazing service above and beyond my expectations. It is apparent that Pro.com cares who they provide as the face of the company. The team knows their stuff and are amazing problem solvers. During this process there was a need to work with the citys electrical services. This was the most frustrating process for me, but Zack owned the process and took the initiative to resolve a complex challenge. That is why I will be using Pro.com in the future and why I passionately tell others of their service.

Alasdair was great to work with, easy going, responsible, punctual, responsive, and flexible when needed. He takes pride in his work and it shows through with great craftsmanship and attention to detail. He's definitely one of the best contractors I've worked with. My project was fairly large, involving leveling out various areas of the basement floor to install luxury vinyl planks, tile a shower stall and bathroom floor, install interior and exterior doors, and trim everything out to match the main areas of my 1925 home. In addition he refinished a set of stairs to replace threads, add handrails and balusters. He communicated with me throughout the project letting me know about the progress, asking for my feedback and input on the project along the way, and making sure that I was satisfied with the work. Whenever issues came up, or I changed my mind on something, he was very easy to provide his input and accommodate as necessary. The results came out great and small issues like doors slightly rubbing or some rough spots that needed extra sanding were taking care by Alasdair without no issues. He is mainly a one man crew which plays to his benefit as he can put his personal attention and care into the whole job. This works very well for me as well, since I'm usually very picky at how I want a job done and tend to obsess over the details and the quality of the results. I will certainly be calling him back when other work is needed around the house.

    Seatown Electric Heating and Air
Our 1940's house was in dire need of a complete replacement of the electrical and HVAC. We had knob and tube wiring throughout the house an incredibly small panel a general contractor installed and poorly tied in new wiring to, an old gas furnace that could barely heat the house and would trip the breaker every time, a hot water tank that was nearing 20 years old, poor lighting etc. We quickly realized the work needed was well beyond our capabilities of 30 somethings who watch DIY home repair youtube for fun, so we started asking around for bids. The bidding process itself went extremely well. Bryan and Jim made separate trips out to our house, took an extensive tour and asked a lot of questions. We wanted it all. Recessed ceiling lights, directional lighting, additional outlets in all rooms, CAT6A ran (more on this later), the gas furnace removed and replaced with a new one, and relocated across the basement to consolidate utilities into one area, tankless water heating, AC, ducts removed and replaced for better vent location, and the gas line ran up to the kitchen for a gas stove. We were essentially building a new house. We received the bids and while they were a little higher than some estimates we got from other companies, we felt that they had a better handle on the tasks that needed to be completed and thus that their estimate was far more accurate. Once the bid was accepted, we scheduled a 2 week block of time to get the job done. The electric team, Thomas and Steve, came out first. My biggest concern was that since we lived in the house, we would be without essential utilities while they worked. They quickly put my fears to rest and gave us a plan that would only take down a couple rooms at ta time while they were rewired and tied into the old panel. Once the majority of the wiring was done, they would then swap out the panel, putting our total downtime to only a few hours. A couple days later the HVAC team, Matt, Riley and Ryan, came out to begin work alongside the electric team. They also came up with a plan that would keep us with minimal downtime of essential utilities. The work progressed without much issues for two weeks. The teams worked with us to determine the best placement of every single outlet, vent and light, and were more than happy to make minor changes to the plans. At the end of every day they cleaned up any derbies left. One minor issue that cropped up towards the end was the realization that neither team had made provisions to run a duct for our bathroom fan (the bathroom lacked one at all). By the time we realized this, the HVAC team were wrapping up and had another job scheduled for the next day. A quick email to Bryan and Jim quickly resolved the issue and the vent was installed. In regards to running CAT6A network cable throughout the house, we had made arrangements that we would provide the cable and terminate the ends, and that they only had to run cables through the walls. The team was more than willing to work within this. However poor judgement on our part left them without enough cable to finish the runs. This coupled with other minor delays that all construction encounters delayed the finish by a couple of days. Again, Thomas and Steve went above and beyond and came out on their saturday to finish the job. The finished work is amazing. Cable are routed neatly through the basement to the panel. Each cable is labeled, and the panel is clearly labeled. The new gas heater fills the house with heat in minutes, the AC chills to the bone, and the hot water is endless. Our rooms are well lit. It feels like a new house. One final note; our family is a bit outside the cis het norm. We're a poly triad with two trans women and a cis bi guy. We have trans pride flags all over the house and in our windows, and we're not shy about being *****. No one from Seatown had any issues with this. Pronouns were respected, no awkward questions or stares. Overall I would highly recommend Seatown Electric Heating and Air. We have some additional items we'd like to have get done and will be having them back out.

    Select Build LLC
With the upcoming expansion of our family, we needed to add a shower to our main floor bathroom and convert our basement into a more comfortable living space. However, this was by far the largest renovation we've attempted, and considering we had a clear deadline, we were very concerned about it running over the available time. Thankfully, we found Select Build, and they were a tremendous blessing in our time of need. Shawn and Shannon are absolutely wonderful people to work with, cheerful and optimistic, but level-headed and professional. Shawn and Shannon clearly communicated what decisions needed to be made and when, which was critical for hitting our deadlines. They worked hard to make our requests worked, but gave advance notice (when possible) if something unexpected happened. They offered recommendations and alternatives when appropriate, which was very helpful because this was so new to us. Their team was polite, their clean up was impeccable, their workmanship was top notch.... ....and the project finished on time! We would very highly recommend Shawn, Shannon and Select Build for your renovation projects, and would definitely work with them again in the future.

I had a tight budget and John made it happen. He converted an unfinished garage into a beautiful open floor-plan one bedroom ADU apartment with a bonus loft. We plan to move into it when we retire and rent the main house so we wanted it to look nice. If you are looking for on time and the best that money can buy in your budget, John is the one to call.

    Delacruz Construction LLC
Pedro and his team did an amazing job with framing and drywall in my basement. All walls and corners are straight. I have a friend in construction business and he said that it's rare to see such quality work. Pedro and everyone on his team are very nice and easy to deal with. He has been flexible accommodating to my schedule. I got quotes from other places and his quote was reasonable. I can highly recommend this company.

Bennett of Innovative Home Renovations is extremely creative and brings an abundance of skill and thoughtfulness to each project. He has good design sense and is exceptional at problem solving. In addition he is resourceful, thorough, organized and detail-oriented. Throughout the project, he clearly communicated the next steps so I knew what to expect. He enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. And he does a careful job of making sure the work is tidy and clean at the end of each day and at the completion of the project. Carlisle Classic Homes
We have experience in building or remodeling a total of 10 times. Because of our past building experience (as owners, not builders) we tend to be the picky, hovering types with lots of questions & suggestions. Additionally we lived on site in a tiny area during 80% of the work. This was the most complicated & expensive project per square foot and yet one of the smoothest. One of the remarkable things about CCH is how good their employees are -- both at their craft and in dealing with the client. Rob, the principal, was involved with initial discussion / negotiations, but once the nails started to fly, he turned it all over to his capable staff. Offsite supervisor and onsite crew were consistent, considerate, capable, approachable, reachable... They took everything we threw their way seriously - and with a sense of humor when appropriate - and never missed a beat! Pretty much the same for most of their subs as well. A total of 8 months was needed to complete the project. They started on schedule and finished a mere 1 week behind schedule despite a few unforeseen things. That too is remarkable considering this was done during the summer of 2017 when contractors were deluged with work. It has been a 11 months since completion and the only call back we have needed was for some paint touch up and skylight leak, all which was covered under warranty. CCH was not the least expensive, but we feel like we got our money's worth. Thanks Rob & crew for a great job!

    Carlisle Classic Homes
My idea of a great company is one that provides excellent service, on time, within budget ---working in partnership with the customer at all times. Carlisle is just this type of company.... high standards, great communication, doing it right and making it right, standing behind their work, and developing a partnership and relationship that stands the test of time. We genuinely like the folks who work at Carlisle, respect the culture of the company (great community citizenship), admire their professionalism, and actually enjoy having them around despite the disruption of any home project. How did it go? Great - over and over again... Thank you, Carlisle!

    Raincap Construction + Electric
I cant say enough about how positive this experience has been!! I hired Raincap to do an interior remodel in my home. The project includes framing and structural work, flooring, remodeled kitchen, windows, doors, utilities, sheetrock, and basically all interior elements. The initial phase of the project is significantly under-budget and right on schedule, which has allowed me to add other elements to the project that I didnt think I could afford. Larry, our project manager, is a great communicator and has had lots of good suggestions that weve incorporated. The demo and framing crew was efficient and amazing. Overall, I honestly could not be happier with Raincap and the experience I have had with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would absolutely hire them again!
