  • I broke my leg in November of 2010 after slipping on some ice.  After two surgeries and 4 months of being on crutches, I was finally able to start walking again!  It's amazing, however, how quickly muscles and tendons deteriorate when they're not being used regularly.  One of my doctors told me to complete several months of Provider name locked. while another told me that I would be fine without it.  I'm glad it did it because my range of motion and strength progressed much more quickly when I was working with Provider name locked. .  I was refered to Provider name locked. from a friend who had worked with him before.  He works with runners quite a bit to rehabilitate and prevent injuries.  As I'm not a runner, we focused on getting back to "normal."  He was very professional, attentive and did a great job of understanding my injuries and putting together a plan for rehabilitation.  My leg is now back to normal (aside from the titanium plate that holds it all together) and I'm sure that the care I received from Provider name locked. helped me recover much more quickly.  Hopefully I won't need to see him again, but if I do, he'd be my first call.

    One note: I'd say that is Availablity is an A if you schedule in Advance.  Trying to get in right away is difficult (although you can usually get in with one of the other physical therapists).  But if you schedule your appointments out a couple of weeks into the future, the schedule is pretty flexible.

  • So far, each day I am seeing small improvements. My physical therapist is an encourager and reminds me to take small steps and not to overdo the exercises. She is very careful to make sure I am doing the exercises correctly and not to push myself

  • The therapy I received was wonderful. It included both manual therapy (massage, manual manipulation, electro-stim, icing) and exercise specific to my injury. The therapists at Real were excellent at assessing the state of my injury and how to treat it, and in knowing when to push and how much. They're used to dealing with all sorts of athletes there, so they aren't afraid to push or to let patients strive for more activity.
