    EMR Masonry LLC
EMR did a fantastic job. The quality and workmanship is top notch. The project was completed on time. I would definitely recommend EMR to other homeowners and would not hesitate to hire EMR for any future masonry work.

    Howard Homes
Howard was initially professional, and worked well. Howard provided a reasonable estimate for his work, and was recommended by a friend. Howard let us know multiple times that we was a licenced and bonded contractor. Halfway through out project we came home one day to find that Howard had decided to remove one quarter our of house's siding, which we were told he would repair. Howard then began to use several assistants to help him in the process. Two weeks later, we received a call from Howard informing us that L&I had visited for a random inspection, and we would need to pay a fine for "our employees" that were assisting him, and some of his back tax bills that would need to be payed before construction could resume. We came home to all of Howard's equipment gone, and a stop work order posted on our house. Howard then became unreachable for two weeks, not returning phone calls or emails. After two weeks passed, we began to receive threatening calls from Howard demanding we pay the fines he had received. We meet with Howard to pay him for services rendered to date, and terminate any future work with him. In this meeting Howard demanded we pay for his back taxes and fines. Howard became enraged when we refused and eventually required the police being called. Over the next two weeks we received over 40 threatening voicemails, had Howard trespass at our house, and PLACE OF WORK day and night, and had to have the police respond 3 times. Howard made my wife, my neighbors, my coworkers, and myself feel unsafe, in our homes and places of work. I implore you find an alternative contractor.

    A & J Retaining Walls Co
The job went very well. We had a stone and mortar wall fail. Many stones were very large (2 - 3 man). They were able to patch things up and work with our schedule, even on a weekend by request! I will definitely use A&J again.

    EMR Masonry LLC
Bert did really great work repairing our stone steps that had broken apart as well as repairing our chimney. You can't even tell that the steps had been broken! We were weeks away from our baby's due date and he fit us into his schedule so the front steps were no longer a tripping hazard. We'd definitely recommend EMR Masonry!

    Chimcare
This company understands customer service. I don't know anything about chimney repair but if the repair was even half as good as their prompt, friendly, professional service it is likely to be perfect. I strongly recommend this company. Bob and Carl did the work and they were on time, friendly, explained what was done in a manner I was able to understand, and left the site cleaner than it was when they arrived.

    EMR Masonry LLC
It was a big project and Bert completed it on time, on budget, and with less mess and disruption to our landscaping than we expected. We particularly appreciated the limited amount of dust thanks to their use of a grinder with a vacuum and the attention to matching the original color and style of the mortar joints. Bert was courteous, fair, and transparent throughout the entire process. The only downside of going with EMR compared to a larger company was that we had to wait about 7 months for Bert to become available to start the project given his backlog of projects. We highly recommend Bert and would definitely hire him again.

    TED'S CHIMNEY SERVICE
The small chimney here needed some repair work, re-pointing and especially a new crown. We had used Ted's Chimney Service in the past, and just as before, they were prompt and did a great job. A small amount of flashing work remains because a new roof is expected sometime soon, but overall, we couldn't be happier.

    Chimcare
These guys were great to work with. It took a bit of chasing to get an answer on whether the flashing had to be done in addition to the firebox after my initial estimate, but eventually when I did get Harold he walked me through it (potential for leaks on older flashing that was not flush to the chimney) and the two people who came to do the work were really fantastic. I'm curious now about whether I need a lining in my chimney, but feel I can definitely reach out and ask them and get a straight answer.

    EMR Masonry LLC
EMR masonry did a great job for us. Our project was complicated when they found out the roof structure was supported by the masonry and steel lintel that needed replacing. I felt they treated us fairly and had the right expertise to complete the job with high quality. I would definitely recommend them.
