  • Spoke with Dustin about getting a quote. We agreed that he would swing by the following afternoon/evening, but never showed or called. I attempted to follow up and reschedule but never received a response.

  • Brian and his crew of three spent most of the day on our large property expertly and extensively trimming and pruning our trees and evergreen shrubs. They also removed one tree. Brian is a certified arborist and we have some exotic Asian pine trees (including an extremely valuable Japanese black pine) that he precisely and artistically trimmed and pruned. The crew was extremely professional, superbly competent, and friendly. They have a meticulous eye for detail and frequently find and remedy small problems that weren't discussed in the initial review estimate, at no extra charge. They are the consummate professionals and their clean up regimen is extraordinary -- they cleaned up not only their trimmings and pruning but also our own yard and leaf debris and residue. They come with our highest recommendation.

  • I have an old, very large Hemlock tree that had grown branches over my neighbors roof. Dustin and crew are very professional and pleasant. They climbed the tree and cleared out the deadwood and trimmed the branches that had invaded my neighbors roof and tree. The Hemlock looks natural and everything was cleaned up. Would highly recommend them, especially for large trees.

  • NGL did a fantastic job. They were super helpful during planning and made great suggestions the whole way through on how the patio could be better integrated with the rest of the backyard. Work was done quickly and with very high quality. We would definitely have NGL do another project with us.

  • Ryan was amazing start to finish! At our first meeting Ryan sat down with us and we discussed what we were looking to do. He turned that into a virtual plan where we could discuss and make any adjustments if we needed to. He did such an amazing job listening to what we wanted and brought some amazing design plans of his own that there was no need for any changes. The crew came in and did such an amazing job that even all of our neighbors mentioned their high quality of work and professionalism. Ryan came back once the job was done and walked us through the new landscape they had created and described each of the plants thoroughly and how to maintain them.

  • This company is a complete cluster stay away from them. You can't trust what they promise you they will do. Called in August for a one time aeration service. The lady told me they don't perform those until end of September early October. Called back early September and another lady told me that wasn't correct and they could schedule me that week. I asked if we could wait until the following week of the 17th. She said yes they could do it then. Called the week of the 17th to see when they are coming and I wasn't even on the schedule. They put me on the following week Wednesday. Wednesday at 5:30pm get a call they were too busy and couldn't come. They don't know when they'll be back in my area but will call me before they come. Are you kidding me? What a joke. Stay away from them is my advice.

  • These guys are fantastic! The tree was in our suburban back yard. Working within about a 6 x 9 foot space at the bottom of the birch they dropped the tree without damage to a rockery right next to the tree, an adjacent fence (1.5 ft away), an adjacent tall cedar tree (5 feet away), my shed (4 feet away) and a neighbor's shed (8 feet away). Elsewhere in my yard, they also dropped a 40 foot tall cypress tree that had grown into an adjacent playhouse with no damage to the playhouse. They really know what they are doing. Extremely careful and safe. Cleaned up all debris and left me with all wood cut to fireplace length. Took them about 3 hours.

  • They arrived on time and completed the work as requested. Very easy to work with from start to finish. They did a good job to minimize debris and cleaned up pretty well after they were finished. The price was very competitive and it was great to have one company do all the work.

  • We hired North East Landscaping Services for an initial yard clean-up after we bought our home. The project was quite large: removal of a fifteen foot tall, overgrown laurel, demolition of rotting sheds, removal of crumbling walkways, substantial tree pruning, bush removal and finally, leveling of the entire yard and installation of a lawn. The initial project began on time, the crew worked efficiently and the owner personally was onsite throughout the week. The price was fair when compared with other quotes we received, though it was not the least expensive. I expected quality work for the price we paid, and we received quality work. We have since hired North East Landscaping Services for our ongoing lawn maintenance and have been pleased with the crew that comes to our home twice per month. My only complaint with this company has been that after our initial project was completed, communication regarding our maintenance package has been spotty at times, with emails not being returned unless I ping the owner multiple times. The work is still completed on time and is done well, but I would appreciate more timely responses to my inquiries.

  • We contacted Plant People Northwest (PPNW) for a “spring clean up”. They were very responsive and we scheduled an appointment with Tony to walk thru the yard. During the estimate walk-thru, Tony was professional, cordial and took the time to get a sense of what we were looking for. The written estimate was emailed within a week of our estimate walk-thru. We were not home during the two days when the PPNW team worked in our yard but based on what we saw that first evening, the PPNW team was detailed and took the time to remove weeds while protecting our plants. On the second day, there were a few missed items (a couple of environmental challenges impeded the work) but, PPNW was responsive and Shannon (the owner) came out to finish the job. We appreciate PPNW’s attention to detail, responsiveness and philosophy of working with their clients to create a yard/garden that actually works for the client in the long-run. After hiring several yard care/landscaping businesses over the years with very mixed results, we look forward to working with PPNW again and enjoying our yard year-round.
