  • He told my wife it would be done in a week, I honestly expected two weeks. The work took two full months. My house was completely torn up during the process. The final cost was double what I was originally quoted. They identified plumbing and electrical problems that did not exist before they started work, and charged me to have them fixed. The billing was not done professionally and itemized, and was submitted multiple times for different amounts.

Once work was started I do find the quality to be in good, but the lack of professionalism and the overall interaction with Provider name locked. was so poor that I will never consider doing business with him in the future. I found him to be very arrogant and unprofessional. His team was very good, but Provider name locked. was awful.

  • Provider name locked. Babko and his team removed and refinished a badly weathered front door to our home, then rehung and trimmed it so that it closes properly.

This was not an easy task; the door and trim matched adjacent woodwork that also runs throughout the home, the door wasn't closing or latching properly as the house has settled, and much of the cherry trim around the door had been damaged by pets over the years.

They removed the door, filled a groove in it where old tin weather stripping had gone, and refinished it to the point where it looks brand new inside and out. They replaced exterior trim outside and also milled new trim pieces for the interior to match the old woodwork. They also added a new threshold and weather stripping, and then stained the new trim work and restained the adjacent old woodwork so that it all matches. You really can't tell the old wood from the new anymore. It all looks new, and we have a front door that closes, locks and seals properly.

The price was very competitive; estimates for finishing the door were about the same, and it was difficult to find anyone who even wanted to take on the complex carpentry work.

The crew arrived on time and kept to the schedule, which was important here as refinishing is done in a workshop, so you're without a front door for about a week. (That's standard; they sealed the opening up tight.) They also kept the place very clean while sanding, paining and staining.

That went so well we hired them to refinish the hardwood in several rooms of our home. Again, this wasn't easy, as it was 1" top nailed oak original to the home. A lot of nails needed to be reset, in addition to the usual sanding and staining. The results are beautiful, and they worked late and on the weekend to finish on time as they'd promised.

We would definitely recommend them to neighbors and friends.

  • The crew was very friendly and cheerful.  They asked lots of questions about what I wanted them to do, so nothing was missed.  They worked quickly and fairly quietly, even moving some of my furniture out of their way.  They did an excellent job on the walls and ceiling with very clean lines.
    RECOMENDED 100% , Thanks
