The good news is that they were really easy to work with at the very beginning. Provider name locked. responded quickly to my request for thatching and re-seeding my lawn and had a quote out to me in a good amount of time. The reason I gave two stars... one, they charged me for disposal of lawn waste yet my extra-large bin was filled to the rim with the lawn waste. That's a big pet peeve of mine. The other, bigger, issue is that the guys didn't put nearly enough peat moss down on top of the grass seed. I wrote Provider name locked. an e-mail regarding these two issues and I received an e-mail back five days later stating that even though the guys used my bin, they also carted stuff away on their own. I have had this kind of work done before and there isn't much more than an extra large bin's worth of yard waste. Provider name locked. also claimed that they used 3.5 bags of peat moss but there were only two bags in my trash can. Would they really throw out two empty bags but then pack away the other two to dispose of later? Maybe. But the reality is that I had to Provider name locked. down another bag and a half myself the following weekend. The Provider name locked. of the e-mail was also a bit condescending... one of those "the time for discussion was at time of the quote and I gave you extra stuff without charging you" but I wasn't disputing the quote; I was disputing the work. Long story short (too late) I won't be using these guys again and I won't be sending them any business.

This company (Provider name locked. and Maelon in particular) is fantastic. It's hard to find their combination of courtesy, professionalism, good nature, and competence these days.
I have tried to use other 1-800-junk type companies in the past and have met with sketchy characters. Though claims are made that they recycle and donate items "as often as possible" point Provider name locked. questioning results in the mumbled confession that they really just take it all to the dump.
On the phone, Provider name locked. immediately made me feel better by talking about the electronics recycling companies they use. At the time of service they really knew what would be useful and appropriate for goodwill vs junk. He and Maelon moved an old couch out of my basement better than professional movers.
They were courteous and worked to get the best value for me. I wish I could clone them and sprinkle them throughout all service businesses!

I wouldn't hesitate recommending these guys. I called and scheduled a few weeks ahead based on when my furniture was being delivered. They were right on time, very professional, courteous, and fast! The price quoted over the phone, $175 for all 4 pieces, 3 of which were large, was what was charged when the work was done. I thought it was reasonable considering the City of Seattle was charging $30 per piece, and I would have had to haul and leave it outside on my front lawn for up to a 5 day period until they picked it up. I'd definitely call them again. Thanks, Provider name locked. .
