  • Every time I step into the facility, I am impressed by the care and interest both Angelina and her staff take in her clients. It is clear that a true partnership is formed, and Angelina makes sure her clients have all of the resources available necessary to meet their fitness goals. The facility is clean and features new and modern equipment. Additionally, the staff can assist with nutrition planning and have supplements available on site. It’s never too late or too early to make the resolution to become fit, and would highly recommend that if you are looking for a place to get started, then look no further than the Curves Westwood location!

  • I go there a lot. They're good at fixing the machines when they need to be fixed. They're prompt on that. The towel service and sometimes they're out of towels. If they're going to have towels, they should have them every time. I've been using them for about six years. The location of the facility is nice. I have a great deal with them. Not everybody has that deal.

  • They have a pool, free weights, and they have a day care center that comes with the membership. There is plenty more. What I like most is that it is close by and they have a child care. I generally feel good about the programs they offer.

  • They have been around for a long time and they are very good. They are very impressive. They offer a full service athletic, health and wellness club. It has sports equipment, two swimming pools and one is Olympic size pool, a total remodelled facility with almost all brand new machines. It also has exercise classes for the young and old. It’s a full service with a well established club.

They have very impressive price. They are not expensive for what they offer. However there are a few things in the club that they can improve like bigger towels. They send you newsletter, give you updates and give you printed letters. They always greet me when I go there.

  • The West Seattle one accommodates us in the pool and they have arthritis classes for us. It's a little bit warmer than the normal pool and they have a Jacuzzi and steam room and I understand they're going to be doing some remodeling and then it should take about a year to complete it. I'm just so glad to see that that's coming. I'm usually there five days a week but I haven't been recently; I'll get there when I can. Their pool for arthritis made me choose them over the others. I used to drive the Access buses years ago and a lot of our clients went in there and I would drop them off there and I wondered, "You live in the north end, why is it that you want to go the West Seattle Y?" and they said, "Because the pool is warmer. They accommodate us with our arthritis" and so when we moved from the north end to the south end, we chose them. When we see things that we think they may be able to improve on or things that might be a danger or anything, they ask for our comments, we put it in notes and we soon see results. We can't afford full membership price so they've given us scholarships so we pay very little now; we pay like $29 a month.

  • They offer childcare, which is important to someone like me. They offer a range of classes that are at good times throughout the day, zumba being one of them, yoga being another. I have looked at other places relative to price. They are doing a lot of remodeling so that can be kind of a pain right now.

  • My wife and I each have a personal trainer that we are pleased with. We do pay extra for that service. They do not have a pool there. The personal trainer is very responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would tell a friend or family member that if they are going to use a personal trainer to use the two we use.

  • I love the classes provided by this Y. Great variety and excellant instructors. I am a regular at the stretching class Tues and Thurs. Debbie is a great teacher. She helps us do a thorough stretching and also knows each class member by name. When there is a member with a physical problem she helps them make appropriate accomadations.
The machines are well maintained and clean. There seem to be an adequate number of machines to avoid waiting.
All of the staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful!

  • This is a great fitness center. All the staff our certified personal trainers, not sales people. The monthly price includes everything in the gym. There are no additional or hidden fees. The monthly fee even includes classes and personal training. I like having a gym that I go to work out and not go to be up-sold.

  • It is great. It is well paced, she does a good job and it is fun. Anybody can go there on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday. For members they pay $3 each time and if they are a member of Glico then they don't pay anything. It is very reasonable.
