    Curves - Westwood
Every time I step into the facility, I am impressed by the care and interest both Angelina and her staff take in her clients. It is clear that a true partnership is formed, and Angelina makes sure her clients have all of the resources available necessary to meet their fitness goals. The facility is clean and features new and modern equipment. Additionally, the staff can assist with nutrition planning and have supplements available on site. It’s never too late or too early to make the resolution to become fit, and would highly recommend that if you are looking for a place to get started, then look no further than the Curves Westwood location!

    ADAPT TRAINING
I've been a physical therapist for over 17 years, and was a member of Adapt Training gym, participating in multiple boot camps, prior to moving out of state in '09. During those boot camps, I had knee pain (from a worn out joint), and they were able to help me work around these, 'move' and get fit and in doing so, knee pain decreased and I was able to live the active life I've always lived. I remember finishing one Boot camp, and then going on an annual week long ski trip in Aspen. My trainer had given me a 'menu' of stretches/exercises to do before and after each day of skiiing--and I skiied hard all day, and virtually no soreness throughout the week (usually I could barely move the mornings after skiing). It was amazing. Then, in '12, the medial portion of my knee collapsed, my knee was bone on bone, stage IV osteoarthritis (at age 41) and in desperation, I moved temporarily to Beaverton specifically to participate in Adapt's Physical therapy, & muscular efficiency class, in order to see if I could avoid a total knee replacement. I was so incredibly deconditioned, I couldn't even do a quad set on the injured leg. After 3 months, my body had undergone tremendous change & healing, as much as it could without actually replacing the joing-and after careful consideration, with the help of my treating PT, the PT who taught the muscular efficiency class and the owners of Adapt, I decided my best choice was to go through with the knee replacement. I had surgery out of state, and again moved back to Beaverton temporarily to participate in PT and muscular efficiency classes at Adapt. There were some other complications with my knee, due to a surgeon error, which made it necessary to go back for another surgery in '13 on my knee for the surgeon to replace the incorrectly sized 'liner'....and I repeated the whole rehab process--moved back to Beaverton for more PT/classes. Oh, and during this time, too, I changed the way I was eating, and dropped 80 pounds. What a gift this place is. Its where I got my life back. 4 months later, I moved back home (out of state) and signed up for an Ironman. I had my workout 'programs' that I continued to follow daily (they teach you how to care for your body, as opposed to other places who try to make you dependent on 'them' so you have to keep spending money to go back for more treatment), and after a year of training for Ironman, Nov '14 I crossed the finish line of Ironman Arizona (post knee replacement!!!!). I go back for workouts when Im back in town-most recently, this summer was in town for 2 weeks--enjoyed being back in the gym and felt wonderful after the 2 weeks! Adapt provided the encouragement, wisdom, and tools to get me to BEYOND my goals. They taught me that my body can do so much more than I think it can do. They provide functional training and therapy-unique and different than any other gym/PT in the area - and I continue to send my patients to them. I will say, it takes effort on the patient side-but if you're willing to put in the time/work, the possiblities are endless. Plus, the environment is great-upbeat, friendly, supportive...If you live in the area--you are fortunate!

They have a gym facility and a child care service. They're new and clean. They also have family changing room and the child care is phenomenal. The people are just great and they seem like they care and pay attention to the child.

    Curves - Seattle
The club is convenient because it is close to my home, it has convenient hours and has a variety of programs that are included in one base price. They have a friendly staff and have a very good price. They are new and they just took over a long standing club that went into bankruptcy.

    The Valley Athletic Club, LLC.
My wife and I are acquainted with several different fitness trainers. It is a very well staffed and well equipped facility. It is very large and they probably do about anything you are interested in. I have personally used the triathlon training services through there. The club is very clean and has a very attentive staff that is in tune with what the members ask for. We have been members for about two years and I believe it is a great value for the money. I will use them again in the future.
