It was healing to be in the presence of a practitioner who listened, took my concerns seriously, and was proactive in addressing all of these concerns. I felt totally comfortable and seen. During our session and in the follow-up, we addressed chronic issues I’ve had through a new lens. I really appreciated the holistic perspective, from the dietary to the energetic, and willingness to treat symptoms as interconnected. I also really appreciated the pace and balance she kept during our session. She created a safe space to heal. Working with Emily is one of the absolutely best things I have done for myself. Even as a healthy intentional person the world of nutrition can be deeply confounding and contradictory to me at times and having someone as knowledgeable, precise and compassionate as Emily to guide me has illuminated many profound new wisdoms. Her process is incredibly thorough and personal and I felt like she gave me a ton of real practical tools and tips that I will use for the rest of my life. I have seen nutritionists before but Emily's process and power of perception are singular. You must consult with her!

    Mathai, Kimberly
Kimberly's office is within a larger office shared with other professionals. Her office itself feels very comfortable and inviting, but you have to get used to the shared common area. The building feels safe and secure, and there are always other people around every area. They have video surveillance in the suite, I assume so practitioners can keep and eye on the common area to know when their patients have arrived. There is a visitor parking garage within the building, the only downside is the spaces are pretty tight and with all the columns can be challenging to pull in and out of with a larger vehicle. Kimberly has always had great availability for appointments and has been able to see me on the dates and times I choose. She has never kept me waiting more than a few minutes past my appointment time, and when she has be a few minutes late, she has always acknowledged it and apologized. She never cuts our sessions short, and has even spent extra time with me on occasion when no one was scheduled after me. Her assistants that call or email me reminders or other important information have always been very nice and helpful. She worked at length with my first insurance company to get them to cover as much as possible. My new insurance covers 1 visit per month! I have been seeing Kimberly monthly for about a year now. She has helped me stabilize my blood sugar with the way I eat, taught me how to make my meals more well-rounded, pushed me to try new foods and to diversify my daily eating, and has overall helped me establish a healthy relationship with food and become a physically healthier person! Kimberly is truly wonderful! She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable in her field and is even a published author of and quot; The Cancer Lifeline Cookbook.and quot; She is very easy to connect with and I feel I can be completely open and honest with her about all my eating habits! She is a great listener and teacher! I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who wants to learn how to eat healthier!

    Beve Kindblade MS, RD, CD
I first found Beve in doing research to help my boyfriends grandfather recover from a severe stroke. She came highly recommended and was so knowledgeable that I decided to see her as well. (I had been on a detox diet recently and wanted to follow-up my making sure I was on the right track following that.) She identified some vitamin deficiencies based on my skin tone and energy levels and was able to give me specific feedback on our second visit after I tracked my food intake for awhile. She was the first medical professional to clue me into Vit D deficiency (this was over a year ago) as well as recommend various supplements that ones body can actually process and utilize, unlike many on the market today. She is also well versed in partnering with other medical care providers, including PCPs. She's been in the medical field a long time, including work at major hospitals as a dietician.

The first appointment I had was the same day after work, which was nice both for the immediacy and the flexible hours. The people at the front desk are very cordial over the phone and in person. Within in a few minutes they had me registered, back in an exam room and paged the doctor to let them know I was waiting. Dr DuBois was very professional and friendly walking me through the process and setting expectations in regards to treatment type, frequency and recovery. True to her word I was mobile within a week and better than I had been before I hurt my back by week two. I have been really impressed with the technology, demeanor, results and atmosphere in this office, so unlike most places you visit in the medical industry. The front desk personnel were very efficient in letting me know what my insurance would cover and various options on the amount of treatment going forward coupled with options on payment. After a brief review of this information, they quickly put together a schedule for future appointments and added me to their notification system which can send reminders via text, email or phone. I thought I was done after my back was in great shape and feeling good in such short order. On one visit in my first week I thought I would ask about the Wellness in their name and find out what else they might provide. The first thing I tried was their nutrition program for weight loss which Dr Dubois had been doing herself and spoke very highly of. I thought I would try it based on the excellent results the produced working on my back. I was amazed at how well organized they were and how simple this looked compared to the Vegan diet I had done for 3 months over the summer. Within the first two weeks 12lbs, and 3 pants sizes magically disappeared with little to no effort. I can't "weight" to see what week 3 looks like. 2 for 2 I thought I would get a massage instead of going to a Spa or Massage Envy to see how they compared. This also was a winner as the last of the tightness in my back went away and I feel way more flexible. I found this surprising as I usually get a massage every couple weeks and this has been a lot more effective. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone who takes the time to read this. I feel a lot better than I did even before I hurt my back and well on my way to getting back into the shape I was in college :)

My experience with her has been excellent.  I paid a little over $700 for both of us to sign up.  That was about $800 a month for the food for two of us.  After a year we went down to a maintenance plan where we just had lunches.  That was averaged about $100 a week for both of us.

I started seeing Joy because I was having severe joint pain which was caused by inflammation.  I was tired, in pain, and not sleeping well.  Joy ordered a blood test that tested for food sensitivities.   After 2 - 3 weeks of eating the right food for me, I was pain free, was able to sleep better, and had more energy.

She is very warm and caring. She is very good at what she does. She's been doing this for a number of years. She was able to figure out what was wrong with my daughter's digestive issues.

I have had really good experiences with them. They have been very helpful to me in working with my insurance company, which is really valuable to me. If there is a record of a visit being billed incorrectly at something that it was not supposed to be Franciscan is really good about following up directly with the insurance provider and communicating with me about that.

I've been seeing her for three years.  She is very talented and in all fields of the brain.  She spends an extraordinary amount of time to talk to you and makes sure that you understand your visit.  She prints the whole dialogue.  There is a short wait time.  The staff is quick to respond if you need something.  I've never had problem with them.  The office is clean.
