We were very pleased with Scotts work. He was very professional, skilled, and pleasant to work with. He listened carefully to us regarding exactly what we were looking for in design, etc., offering suggestions and working hard to one up with the final product, which we were very happy with. We would certainly hire him again.

AA Defined did an excellent job with replacing my 2nd story deck, constructing a new 450 sq ft. ground level deck with 2 built in benches and diamond inlay, and stairs to connect them. Since I wanted a brand new ground level deck with stairs to connect the two decks, and I had a row of palm trees next to the house, they had to design a unique way to make it all happen. Fortunately with the brainstorming of Michael and Kevin, it has all come to fruition! I have a cat that isn't allowed to go into the backyard, and they took that into account and made the pickets of the railing tighter so he can't stick his head between them. And they put a gate at the top of the stairs! Kevin is a creative genus and can figure out a solution to any difficult construction problems. The deck diamond inlay and the crystallite railing are the design jewels of the entire project! The diamond helps to break up the large deck and the railing is very sturdy and beautiful! I also like that they outlined with a contrasting color the 2 decks. The attention to detail is spot on! They were very professional, cleaned up their site and made sure I was 100% satisfied!

Robert & Anthony were terrific in helping us navigate our backyard remodel. We originally were looking at replacing our deck but found that due to environmental restrictions in our area we would not be able to replace it without substantial costs. We turned to System Pavers and had a meeting with Robert within a few days of first contacting them. He worked with us to find a solution that fit our budget and designed a proposal that same day. We were able to alter the design to perfect it and had it scheduled within about 6 weeks. They actually started the job about 2 weeks early and were completed before they were even supposed to start! I will definitely reach out to System Pavers when we are ready to think about our next project. Thanks!!

Solicited a bid from Andy for a deck remodel based on positive views here. I was looking to change flooring and rail of an elevated cedar deck to composite with metal cable railing. I ultimately ended up going with more of a design build contractor, but Andy was professional, responsive, and his estimate was competitive. If you're getting multiple bids, as you should, be sure to include Andy.

Robert is amazing to work with. We were in a time-crunch situation and when we contacted him we only had a short few weeks before we needed to move out and tenants were moving in. Robert was really accommodating and despite finding quite a bit more water damage than we could tell from the exterior, he worked double-time to make our super-short timeline work. He and his crew were always professional, polite, and punctual - and they do great quality work. Then, with snow and ice falling on Seattle, Robert made the long trek out to our place through terrible road/weather conditions just to make sure our project was done on time. Communication was excellent, and I really felt like he was listening to us and made our priorities his priorities. We wanted to make sure the tenants didn't have to deal with any interior work and he made it happen. We are very happy with the repair and the finish of the drywall, and he stands by his work. I will be recommending him to my neighbors, who need some similar work done. He somehow turned what was a bad situation into a relatively pleasant experience for us. I would hire him again without reservation.

I had a tight budget and John made it happen. He converted an unfinished garage into a beautiful open floor-plan one bedroom ADU apartment with a bonus loft. We plan to move into it when we retire and rent the main house so we wanted it to look nice. If you are looking for on time and the best that money can buy in your budget, John is the one to call.

LeBron is an expert carpenter and great communicator. It was a challenging job which he was willing to take on despite having a busy summer work schedule. He fit me in for which I was very grateful. I had confidence that LeBron would do a great job, and he did. He does not cut corners. He simply does a top quality job. He charges labor + materials, and the cost was more than he projected. But I saw how hard his crew of three (including him) worked. LeBron provided me the quiet confidence that the job would be done right. Quality carpenters like LeBron are busy, but he is worth waiting for. He is honest and a very hard worker. You cannot go wrong hiring LeBron.

Andy and his crew were really terrific. They were very experienced and understood what was needed to remedy our deck situation. Andy was very committed to making sure that his team met all of the requirements/goals we had laid out. Andy communicates with clients and with his crew very well. They get along with each other and cooperated on the project with good humor. There was good collaboration on choosing the best solutions. The work was done in two days which was most welcome. I would definitely hire Andy Marshall Construction again.

I discovered RTI a few years ago when looking for a company to re-waterproof a deck that is above our living room. I procured 3 bids. RTI was by far the best value and I was very impressed by TJ's integrity and patience with my many questions. RTI's attention to detail, waterproofing products, easy-going/masterful professional staff, and excellent final product has led me to hire them for 3 more projects. RTI is my "go to"!

We signed a contract for a 75K deck replacement and hardscape remodel with these people 15 months ago. The work was supposed to be completed more than 8 months ago. One poor excuse has followed another. They submitted for permit 2 months after the work was supposed to be complete. They, "forgot," to actually pay for the permit until I prodded them hard when I was informed of their lapse 6 weeks after it was due, and now I find out that they haven't paid the company working to secure the permit. The cherry is that the owner of the company - Leland Dent - has been ignoring all attempts to contact him for the last week. I have been working in the construction and design industry for 30 odd years. I understand the process well. None of this is even remotely acceptable. Stay away from these people. I wish I had.
