Cell Phone Service reviews in Seattle

  • I seldom use a cell phone and decided to buy a pay as you go phone a year and a half ago. At the time, I bought the phone and plan from AT&T wireless. Provider name locked. bought out AT&T and made promises to keep up the service. They have done a HORRIBLE job. Over the last year, I have more and more inconsistencies in service, people breaking up, and people being cut off. It's awful. They haven't maintained these cell towers, and it shows. They are just awful.

  • This review is about Provider name locked. and not a particular store. Provider name locked. sells Verizon products, but if you want a Verizon phone and service, stay as far away from any Provider name locked. store or kiosk as you can. They are rip off artists. I was due for a new Verizon phone in August 2012. I got a Samsung Stratosphere phone, with a  data plan for which I paid an additional $30 per month. The plan was OK for my needs, but the phone was not very good as all callers sounded like they were underwater. That is somewhat expected with a cell phone, but it was particularly bad with that phone. By January, I was sick of phone and the costs, so I switched to a TracFone which I love. I cancelled my contract <Provider name locked. >at my local Verizon retailerProvider name locked. >, not at the kiosk where I had purchsed the phone in august, ASSUMING THEY WERE ALL VERIZON STORES. Big mistake. I had paid Verizon $357 to end my contract early, but I figured that was the price of early termination. I was wrong.
Today I recieved a notice from Provider name locked. & Associates, P.L.L.C. Attorneys at Law located in Provider name locked. , UT. They say I now owe $300 for early termination of my Provider name locked. account!  I called the Provider name locked. /Verizon kiosk where I purchased the phone, and they said I received the demand for $300 because I cancelled the Provider name locked. service before I had the phone 6 months. I swear this was never explained to me when I purchased the phone.
I will try to dispute this charge, but I doubt I will have any luck.   Caveat emptor.
