  • For the most part OK.  My only grip is that he kept talking on his cell phone and didn't fully focus on my circumstances (not sure if the calls were from the dispatcher or not)

After starting the battery and putting away the equipment, he had problems swiping my credit card.  It took several attempts, which were interrupted by the constant phone calls.  The payment process took almost 20 minutes to complete.

  • I found Hubie's on Yelp and they have great reviews. I called and Hubie? answered right away and so happened to be in my neighborhood. I made an appointment to have him tow my car the next morning but since he was in the neighborhood he decided to drop by and take a quick look. He found the problem right away and it was an error due to myself. I believe he knew over the phone based on my description what the problem was. I think it was great that he came over and saved me the embarrassment of having it towed to the shop the next day. I'd use his service without hesitation when I really do need it next time.

  • ABUSIVE SERVICE. AAA sent a driver to jump my car. I was coming from work to have the car jumped; a friend brought me. I told dispatch, very clearly ahead of time, that it would take me 15 minutes to get there to meet the tow truck. He got there just a couple minutes early. Dispatch called me and asked where I was. I told him that I would be there in no more than 2 minutes, at which point I was told the driver was going to take off. I begged for him to stay. When I arrived just two minutes later, I literally saw him driving away (he didn't see me). I called dispatch who said that I was too late. After calling AAA and calling dispatch and begging, he came back to jump the car battery. When he got out of his truck, he snapped, "Pop your *explicit* hood." WORST customer service ever. When I told him, "don't be rude to me," he sped off and left me stranded. I still am shocked at what happened here. I couldn't have been more clear to dispatch about my timeline, and even told them that they could take their time in getting there, as I brought a book to read while I waited. UNBELIEVABLE. He came back and said, "Are you ready to be nice?" You're kidding. I said, "Are you? I'm not the one swearing here." He finally did jump my car, but appeared ready to Provider name locked. me the entire time. The person he should take his rage out on was not me, but rather, the folks who scheduled the whole thing to begin with, and more than likely, miscommunicated to him the timeline.
