  • Our project with Provider name locked. went exceptionally well.  He designed the the perfect plans for our 2nd story addition, and worked hard to listen to our requests and feedback.  He was then able to incorporate them in ways that exceeded our expectations.  He knew and planned for all of the details we needed for our complete re-do of the main bath and kitchen.  When we were thinking aesthetics, Provider name locked. was considering the function and flow of the space and where furniture would be placed.  When we realized we needed a storage closet, Provider name locked. was able to envision the best place for it in our layout.  Provider name locked. was always on time (usually there before us), quick to respond to questions, and followed through with all expectations that were laid out.  He was technically very proficient and knows how to navigate all of the city's requirements and bureaucracies.  He also worked well with our contractor to ensure a smooth build process.
We will be doing more work on our house in the future and will definitely be using Provider name locked. again!

  • This is a needed service.  I think architects are used to approaching a remodel by first getting a blueprint for the whole house.  Then they get creative.  But it is costly for them to get the existing house measurements into AUTOCAD so they can start work.  For a few hundred bucks, this guy will give you what you really need, an expert's opinion about what options are reasonable and what the tradeoffs will be.  THEN, if it's really necessary to create blueprints, he will do that for extra money.  This is the way an architect should work.  We found him open to our thoughts and a good listener, as well as creative.  I will use him again for this service.

  • Everybody we worked with was delightful…from B+L employees to the subcontractors they
hired for the energy efficiency work. They were all really friendly, nice
people who performed high quality, exceptional work. In fact, the best thing we
can say about working with B+L is that they created a kitchen design exactly
how we envisioned, and they did it with a sustainability ethic that was extremely
    important to us.
They were not the cheapest bid we received and we knew that when we started. But we had a
big project and we needed it to be done well. B+L were upfront with the costs,
organized and accurate with the budget, and extremely helpful when it came to
securing financing. What tipped the balance was that of the contractors we
interviewed, only B+L really listed to us and helped design the kitchen we wanted. Others tried to cram their
design ideas down our throats, and weren’t willing to really be creative about
    with our small space.
