We have hired and used Rosegold Builders for 3 remodeling projects over a period of 5 years now. This review can show how pleased and satisfied we are with their work and work methods. The first remodeling job was on our 3 bathrooms and we were very impressed with the way they made the designs of them before we signed the contract and of course with the final results. The second remodeling project was to design and build a master suite. It was started with just a concept and with the ideas of Adam and his people, we decided to go with another remodeling job that would be even more challenging for them. This last remodeling project was to create a large sun room at our back yard. When we looked at the blue prints that were presented to us by Adam, we really didnt know how it will be. We really surprised by the workmanship, all the solutions for all the problems that came up during the remodeling and the final result which was a stunning 550 sq/ft. sun room which we enjoy extremely. And all three remodeling projects were finished within the time frame and schedules including the costs, which is not always doable. Thank you, all the team at Rosegold Builders.

Z7 Team Powered By Baseline Construction
My wife and I worked with Joe to renovate our home in the South Bay. We basically tore everything down to the studs and did some reconfiguring of the interior, as well as redoing all plumbing and electrical. With Joe and his team, we transformed a home that hasnt been renovated since the 60s to the home of our dreams. We were referred to Joe by a trusted friend, and after a phone call with an overview of what our plans were, we met Joe in person at our home for an initial walkthrough. Both my wife and I were impressed with how thorough he was with details regarding the renovation; it was immediately obvious he was a master of his craft, with a vast amount of experience and knowledge in construction. More importantly, hes down to earth and honest; his transparency was very much appreciated. Joe and his crew take pride in their work. Hed go above and beyond by suggesting certain looks or practical modifications to our original request; it often felt like he was renovating for himself! For the project, he provided a clearly marked timeline and walked us through all the options for both finished and unfinished materials. His encyclopedic knowledge of stores in the Bay Area saved us a lot of money, and we got exactly what we wanted to build our home with! Home renovation is never a easily forecasted task; there are many surprises or issues that come up. With Joe, we knew we were in good hands. When a challenge did come up, he made sure to explain the options to us and address it immediately. Communication is key in this process, and Joe excels at it - hes very responsive by phone and text. His crew is polite and also share Joes willingness to educate and explain the process. All in all, we felt that Joe became a family friend in the construction business and have recommended him to multiple friends and family. If you are looking for top quality work, reasonable pricing, and a trustworthy expert, look no further than Joe Arielli and his team!

If just rating on the end product, I would've given them all A's, but their focus on customer satisfaction also deserves all A's. As with most renovation projects, there were a few missteps with our project, but it was how the company, specifically David Canei, handled those issues that impressed me. When my wife and I weren't getting the type of service we wanted from our Project Manager, David stepped in and took over and made every effort to make things right. He was very responsive via email or phone and gave my wife and me a peace of mind that our project was back on track and in good hands.

My purpose for a review at this point in time is to hopefully consider this company before you make a decision to hire or not and to perhaps validate the review submitted on 7/12/16. I signed a contract in July 2016 for a job completion in Oct 2016. Till this date (4/2017) I'm still waiting for the job to begin. The demo was done on 3/30/17. Every time is rains my tiled deck is exposed to the rain. I should have got an attorney from the start because perhaps the job would have been done last year or got back my deposit which is half the total cost. Yes, the weather is part of the delay but not for such a big delay. When the job is done I can then update my review.

The project went very well and kept schedule even with some delay from weather (rain which the work area was protected by company with plastic covering etc.) and one minor inspection delay (city could not make it out to site, not a construction delay). All feedback from inspectors and even neighbors watching the project were very positive and workmanship and speed with which the project progressed. I personally was impressed with the feedback from city inspectors which I talked with on the side to get their input and comments were made that this crew was very tight and precise with carpentry workmanship to the point that they inspectors trusted them to make minor corrections per their recommendations with just picture validation and no re-inspections. I can go on but overall I will be working any future project with this company and will and have already highly recommended them to others. Two that I've talked with have decided to also go with this company and I hear they are equally impressed with the results thus far. A note on pricing, the original bid was not the lowest but also by far not the highest. The little extra (over the lowest bid) I think was by far well worth the choice and provided a very high value to cost over friends that have had poor experiences with other companies. As for the crew and working with them, very very happy with their professionalism and also being friendly and approachable in achieving the highest quality result. I highly recommend this company for any of my friends, neighbors and even strangers and Im very pleased with my new home.

Sales person arrived on time, then launched into a mildly cheesy sales pitch. Overall he was likable enough, and spend the time to discuss my design and options. He provided a quote before he left, but this is where things began to go downhill. First, he seemed annoyed that I didn't sign on the dotted line right then and there. Second, I reached out to him the next day with a list of 3-5 questions, which he never responded to. I called the office and they informed me that the email address on his business card was incorrect (!). They provided me with a different address (which I again emailed), and said they would follow up with him internally. I never received a reply back. I can't speak to the quality of their product or workmanship, but I can say that I had a generally negative sales experience. These guys give all the appearances of being a 'Chuck and a truck' operation. Good luck.

With the work of Pacific construction & design, we now have a beautiful back patio, Backyard with BBQ and many other new features throughout the entire house, mainly in the new master bathroom and kitchen. The extensive knowledge that David brought with him to this project was an amazing design point of view so to say in addition to experience knowledge in construction. This big remodeling project has given us all new parts such as: - Plumbing - Electrical - HVAC (resulting in a drop in our new house insurance) - Brand new appliances - New master bedroom with new walk-in closet - Master bathroom completely renovated - Enlarged and relocated the other two bathrooms - New and modern style kitchen the new kitchen was built from the studs - Breakfast nook - Laundry room - Installed new custom fireplace with modern flue so the fireplace can be used by woods or electricity. During the 3rd meeting with David, we looked and analyzed the final design and the stages that this remodeling will required, David provided us with a detailed estimate and report, highly professional analysis of each part of the work to be done and the cost of each stage of the remodeling. Our original plan was to live in the house for many more years and especially we wanted this house to be our dream home. We have been extremely pleased and happy with the results of the remodeling. David's architect and the engineer were the most skillful at negotiating the complex permitting process which are especially complicated in our area. On the construction end, David and the actual workers that perform the work had the most skilled and delightful staff and has developed a long term relationship with the best group of subcontractors we have ever seen. The final results of our house made our house a truly dream house and we want to thank David so much for making it a reality.

Chris and several other workers from Pacific Construction & design did several remodeling items at my house. The work started with the repair and resurface of the concrete at the back of the house its been a while since it had lots of cracks and it had to be fixed. Chris was able to give me a good estimate to remove the old one and to install the new one. While the workers worked on that, Chris noticed a problem with the windows and he recommended me to replace them with a new ones in order to solve that too. because they were working at the house already, Chris was able to give me a better price and it was worth to do. At the end of the repairs, i asked Chris if he can install new closets in 2 of the bedrooms. The new closets came out great and very useful.

    Ochoa Bros.
After more than 35 years working with many contractors on both small renovations and big projects ($8 million), I have never worked with a better contractor!  Our project with Ochoa Bros was about $30,000 condo renovation, including painting, electrical, porcelain fireplace surround, lighting, demolition of flooring, building a wall and door, and many small tasks.  The Project Lead (Aaron) was great to work with, totally unflappable, a problem solver (of problems caused by others!), and a great scheduler and supervisor for his teams.  His project advice was helpful and appropriately cost-sensitive. He communicates well by email, text and phone (which with others has been an issue, believe it or not!). His workers arrived on time, worked with minimal noise, were courteous and respectful of neighbors, cleaned up common areas and the work site well, and did quality work.  The project was done on time and within budget.  I highly recommend!

It took better than three months, instead of the 2 to 3 week promised.  Removed original crew and replaced with top notch crew, they were not top notch. Doors still do not lock and close correctly and the San Jose office is closed now.
All contractors complained about hoping they would get paid on time and that the company owed them for prior jobs.  I was forever afraid of a mechanics lien on the job.
Got a call two weeks ago from Sacremento office and they stated they would be in area to correct issues this week.  No follow up call yet.  If they follow up, I will review them.
