    Neptune Society of Central California
I phoned them after getting their price which was $500 less than cremation by a funeral home. They kept me informed about what was happening. It took a few days for the death certificate to be signed before they could pick up the body from the hospital. He also was a tissue donor but that was via a different company. They phoned me after it was picked up and gave me the approximate time when the cremation would be finished. I paid for eight death certificates; as I understand it, the price is the same whomever you order them from. They delivered the ashes back to me in a timely manner. I had options for various other things but that is what I chose.

We didn't use them because they were over charging us, and they were very unprofessional. We have a family plot there that we wanted to bury a family member, and they wanted over $5000 for a plot that we already own. I hate that place.

My mother passed away. I thought they were excellent. I thought they were a bit expensive but I did not go anywhere else so I don't have any prices to compare them to. It was beautiful ceremony. They were with us the whole step of the way. They took care of everything.

The planner that came out was Mary Panagetti. They are very few services that will allow you to pay in advance. She is specifically set up for that. They have very personable service for a very delicate part of a person's life.

Recommended by our hospice team, I was treated with utmost respect and care by our consultant. She was extremely sensitive to our needs and made the process very easy. I told her my husband's final wishes, and she presented options exactly to meet our specifications. She explained everything in just the right level of detail and was very responsive to questions and phone calls during the process. Our consultant worked with the local military group to arrange military honors. She arranged nearly everything with only minimal effort for me, and when we needed to make last minute corrections in my husband's biography, she got everything fixed in a very timely way. Service was beautiful and exactly what I had hoped it would be. This was emotionally a very tough time, and they made it all as simple as possible.

We had a pre-paid funeral arrangement which was purchased through Oak Hill 20 years ago. When we went there to have them carry out the arrangements, they let us sit in an office for three hours. Unacceptable at a time like that. When it came time for the burial, we had ordered a flower spray for the casket and it was not there, which was very upsetting. I would certainly like to see this company have their act together better considering the state most people are in during this time and the outrageous prices funeral homes charge for their services.

Had gone to this company previously (years ago) for funeral services and was pleased with their services. Recently, the only services required was cremation and urn purchase. Although the consultant who helped was very pleasant and helpful, services after the initial appointment were not provided. More specifically, although our church considered that our memorial service was technically a 'funeral', Lima Family did not, and therefore did not provide further assistance (programs, thank you cards).

This was the most difficult time in my life. The directors at Byrgan were at all times compassionate and competent. Words cannot fully express how wonderful they were.

We had a good experience with them. We had used them back in 2003 when my brother passed away and we were comfortable with the way they handled things for us and the way they dealt with the family.
