    Lionel Nelson MD
He's an expert in his field. He's very personable guy and easy to get along with. He has a really great bedside manner. He's a very kind and soft spoken doctor. He's been in his for a very long time. He's very highly respected by his peers. He's very available unless he's helping in the military field. He was gone two months and now he's back full time. His office environment is nice. It's not a huge office but he's had it for many years. It's very convenient. He's usually right on time. I don't usually have to wait very long. The effectiveness of his treatment is phenomenal. They bill all the insurance you need. It's very nice.

    Maw, Dr. Jennifer
    Some background:
about 9 years ago I started having vertigo and after seeing 3 ENT doctors without results, I got a referral from my sister to Dr. Maw. My sister's friend had many of the same symptoms I had (Vertigo, vomiting, poor balance, ringing and pressure in the ear as well as hearing loss).

Dr Maw is an ear specialist.
She diagnosed me and for the first time I could put a name to my problem. Menier's Disease.
Her treatment helped improve my condition tremendously and when my severe and quot;attacksand quot; came I had medications to help me get through them. Over the years my symptoms would come and go and at times I would be symptom free for several months at a time.

Over the past year the symptoms have become worse and pretty much constant along with increasing hearing loss. Dr Maw told me 4 years ago that this is what would likely happen so it does not come as a surprise. I wanted to look for information on my doctor so I joined Angie's list to check on possible ratings for Dr. Jennifer Maw. There were no reviews for her so I'll be the first.

I have been impressed with Dr. Maw from day one and can highly recommend her to anyone.
It would be nice to hear from anyone else who has had this procedure performed by Dr Maw or any other doctor for that matter.

My ONLY complaint about Dr. Maw's office is there is consistently too much waiting at all of my office visits. Most of my visits start by checking in, making the copayment, followed by a short wait, then a hearing test by a tech (Always friendly and professional). Then things always SLOW DOWN. 20 to 30 minutes wait in the upstairs doctor's waiting room. Then it's into the examination room for another wait of 30 to 45 minutes. I have complained. Of any healthcare provider I've visited, with the exception of the ER, this place is the worst. The doc is great BUT, if you go to this doctor allow at least 1 1/2 hours in your schedule.

Also, when scheduling, ask for Dr. Maw or her P.A. Behrouz. FYI I have seen Dr Stephen Dear, the other Doctor on staff and would not recommend him.

    CENTER FOR BETTER HEARING AIDS
Excellent, prompt, fairly priced service for a walk-in. No attempt to up-sell to new aids. The entire process took about 15-minutes, $30 in a very professional and friendly environment. I noticed an immediate improvement in my hearing aid performance.

    Trevino, Dr. Richard J
He referred me to an oncologist that I didn't care for so I interviewed two other oncologists. I was happy with Dr. Trevino. He is very pleasant and I haven't had any problems with him. His office is not quite as professional as I expected from a surgeon. They do a lot of work with minorities and non-English speaking people. They have some welfare cases. I got the attitude that it was unusual that I had insurance and I was there. The office was sparsely furnished and very dated. I asked about his credentials and he has been doing this for many years. He was very personable and told me about the procedure. I felt that he gave me more attention than he gave other patients. I did have to contact the insurance company and I thought they would have normally taken care of that. It wasn?t quite what I expected. I would refer other friends to him, but I think there may be better out there. His office was on the other side of town. In hindsight I might have gone to someone else.

    Maw, Dr. Jennifer
Dr. Maw and her staff are very patient and kind. They work hard to get the kids to cooperate with the tests to get good results. The audiology appointments are set right before Dr. Maw's exam to minimize wait times.

    Lionel Nelson MD
Dr. Nelson is an amazing doctor. Great patient rapport, highly skilled, excellent office staff. The surgery went without a hitch, recovery was fairly quick and my quality of life improved dramatically afterward. His office staff worked really well with my two insurance companies, and worked with them so that I only had to pay a small co-pay.
