  • Terrible.  Provider name locked. did not give me an appointment until almost a month after I contacted them on Angie’s List.  When they finally send someone out he did not know what he was doing, then they sent me a letter with a false evaluation of the foundation.

On Provider name locked. 27, 2015, I purchased a coupon through Angie’s List for $250 Foundation Inspection Package and $500 Toward Repair from Provider name locked. .  At that time, I provided Provider name locked. with three times for the inspection:  Afternoon (PM) on 7/30/2015; Morning (AM) on 8/3/2015; and Morning (AM) on 8/4/2015.  Provider name locked. did not respond with any possible dates for inspection.  On August 22, 2015, I provided Provider name locked. with six times for the inspection.  On August 24, 2014, Provider name locked. called me and set up and appointment for inspection the next day.

On August 25, 2015, Provider name locked. came to my house.  I called Provider name locked. to make sure he was from your company.  Provider name locked. asked me my evaluation of the foundation and to show him where there were any problems.  I walked around the inside and outside of the house to show him cracks I had noticed.  He said the reason for the cracks was that it is an old house and did not have anything to do with the foundation.  He said they were only cracks in the stucco.  I asked him to look under the house.  He was not prepared to do this, but I insisted.  He asked if I had a flashlight which I gave him.  I called my husband to talk with Provider name locked. while he was under the house because Provider name locked. could not tell where he was once he got under the house.  Before he left, Provider name locked. told me to make an appointment for a second person to come out from Provider name locked. , which I did.  I called Provider name locked. and spoke with a lady who said a second person was scheduled to come out on August 31, 2015 at noon, and to please, have my husband present for the second inspection.

On August 27, 2015, I received and email from Provider name locked. regarding “169 willow Provider name locked. san Provider name locked. foundation inspection” not my address.   Attached to the email was a letter  dated “Date: 9, 2, 2014” addressed to:

    *** Ritchil
    ***
ssn Provider name locked. , CA 95126

My name was misspelled, the city was misspelled and the zip code was wrong.

The rest of the letter was equally inaccurate.  The letter claimed there was “Water and moister to the soil under foundation;” and recommended “French drain around house and sump pump. (This will help incase of heavy rain and make sure no water under house).”  This was false.  No rain has leaked under the house in the twenty-two years we have owned it.  Since Provider name locked. came out, I have had three other inspections by experts, none of whom indicated any problem with water.  The letter ends by saying, “I can talk with you and tell you more . . .,” but there is no indication of who wrote the letter.  If the letter was written by Provider name locked. , or based on his observations, then it would not be possible to make an accurate evaluation or recommendation.

Prior to the second appointment, I received a call from Provider name locked. , confirming the appointment for place August 31, 2015, at noon.  On August 31, 2015, at noon, my husband and I waited for the inspector.  At about 12:30pm, I called Provider name locked. to find out when the inspector would arrive.  Guy at Provider name locked. said he did not see an appointment for anyone to come to my house but he would check.  I told him that Provider name locked. did not know anything about foundations and Guy said that Provider name locked. is not an expert.  No one came out.  Provider name locked. has done nothing since that date.

They have not refunded the $250.00 I paid.

  • I contacted Provider name locked. after reading his good reviews here.  I contacted him by phone twice.  After the second voice message, he returned my call and we set up an appointment.  I took time off my work to meet him at my house and he did not show up.  I left him another voice message and he agreed to meet me at my house two days later.  This time he showed up on time.  Provider name locked. was professional and friendly.   He told me that he would send me a quote that night.  After inquiring about it, he emailed a reasonable quote.  I responded right away and told him that we wanted to hire him for the job.  I asked him if he could begin the job two weeks later and did not hear from him again.
I would rather he told me that he couldn't do the job from the beginning. I wasted my time and still haven't heard from him.
