    New Sky Tree Service, Inc
Carlos and his crew were responsive, and I felt at ease and confident that theyd get the job done. I was right - and they exceeded my expectations doing beautiful work in a swift and efficient manner and leaving everything pristine when they left. Will hire again and tell all my friends about their great work!

See above. Even though I indicate above that I would not hire him again, if he returns to trim two front trees in the front of my house (for which he's given me a verbal proposal), I may let him do the work (and pay him for it); but this time, I'll make sure I can be home to see what he does.

They did an excellent job, told me their recommendation and they did exactly what they said they would do to trim out the branches of the trees and they did an excellent work. They were very responsive at that time, and it was very good. I have used them twice already.

    Johnson's Tree Care Inc
Great job. Our small backyard was totally dominated by a redwood tree which hadn't been professionally touched for years beyond an annual topping by PG and E. Kevin and his crew arrived on time and did a splendid job thinning out the tree, removing deadwood and overgrowth. They "brought in the sides" and removed branches that might bother my neighbors. They were on time, professional, thorough, competitive in their bid, carted away the debris, and did a really good clean up job. I can now see the sun!

Whenever I hire a professional to work on my house, I'm filled with trepidation. We've all heard the horror stories about jobs that, after they're started, are extended so much that they go weeks or even months past the agreed-upon deadline; about workers who are disrespectful; about corners being cut; about shoddy workmanship; and about owners not understanding the vision the customer has in mind, and/or the end product not resembling that vision. Sacred Space Gardens allayed all those fears, and proved to be one of the best companies we've ever worked with. Chris - who is always on time - met with us a few times to hear about our ideas and commit them to paper. He suggested a flagstone patio, a surrounding stone seating wall, a wooden pergola-like frame to replace the one being torn down, a flagstone reading area, artificial turf for our dog, multiple varieties of plants, a number of pathways, a drip/sprinkler system, and a nighttime lighting system. We took virtually all of his suggestions and hired him without even talking to anyone else. The two workers from Sacred Space Gardens (Lobsang [the construction manager] and Mr. Salvador), fixtures in our yard for many weeks, were a dream. I sort of miss them. They were friendly and professional, got along with each other famously, were always on time, worked incredibly hard, and cut no corners. Everything they did was artistic and rock-solid. We've rarely seen such knowledgeable attention to detail. They were also, by the way, very strong. Because there is no long, straight way to transport things from the garage into the backyard, they had to hand-carry everything, including dozens and dozens of heavy cement bags, one at a time through our downstairs hallway and laundry room. The schedule did run a couple of weeks long, but it was in no way anyone's fault. We had some unforeseen problems, including rain delays, and our soil turned out to be so riddled with rock that Lobsang and Mr. Salvador had to drill away at the rock for days in order to prepare the soil for planting. In the end, our yard turned out to be much more beautiful than we ever imagined. The patios, the stonework, the plants, and even our dog's area are stunning. We feel like we're in Paradise out there. Now I need to go stare at the yard for an hour, because that's what I continue to do on a regular basis.

    Arborist Now
This is our second time working with Remy and the team at Arborist Now, and we've already scheduled them for a third. From the very start, they're easy to work with and respect our time. For example, Remy is quick on email/text (versus phone tag and voicemails like others) and always happy to itemize out projects so we can pick and choose what we want to hire them for. Plus, their rates are really reasonable and their work quality is very good. His team did a big job for us, was great at communicating before and during, and then did a really nice job at cleanup. We look forward to working with them again.

It couldn't have gone better! Wow! These guys are amazing!!! Alex drove by a week before and based on what we had discussed, he assessed the situation and called me back and gave me a price that was fine and gave me a date for when he and crew would be coming by which was 7/7 at around 2 pm. They got here a little earlier and got right to work. They were friendly, and went about their work and were done by 2:30. Everything was cleaned up and I am so happy with how everything looks. They all worked so well as a team.

    The Davey Tree Expert Company
In each case I got quotes from other well respected firms. Davey's quote was always competitive. Their work was ranged from very good to excellent (mostly excellent). Celso, one of the crew leaders, is fantastic.

Frustrating when Chris comes and looks at your project, gives you a min/max quote, and the final bill is more (with no additional asks) than quoted. We were provided a min and max price range on our 100' pine tree in our backyard that needed pruning. The tree didn't grow since he gave his bid, so I was confused as to why the final bill exceeded the max estimate. My advice... be careful if price is a consideration for you, as the "estimate" is not an accurate representation of what your project will cost. Chris will reiterate this after you receive your bill. So ask all your questions upfront. I will caveat this review with the fact I think they did a decent job.

They were pretty good and had a nice crew. They were friendly and they did the work pretty quickly. This is the first time I got somebody for this service so I have no benchmark for the cost to weigh them against. Quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were pretty good. They were pretty dressed. They could have made the experience better by attending to little details like because the trees were trimmed out, there were a lot of little branches on the grasses.
