    Pollycove, Dr. Ricki
I have been seeing her since about 2002. She is very thorough. She takes her time; we never feel like we are rushed when we go see her for an appointment. She makes us really comfortable because gynecologist exams are kind of humiliating and uncomfortable. The room is nice and warm; she makes us very comfortable. Her staff is very available. We can call up and they get back to us pretty quickly. They answer any questions and try and help us with our problem. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They call us back and answer all our questions. If they don't have the answer, they will find out and call us back.

    Stacey South MD
I was beyond pleased with Dr. South. She is so easy to talk to about difficult subjects. She explains things very clearly, she treats you with respect and she even e-mails and answers questions! Her staff is wonderful, too. She gave me options for treatments----and seemed concerned that I got the best help available. You cannot go wrong if you have any type of OBGYN problem---Dr. South is the doctor that you want to see.

    Kaiser Permanente
They were amazing. I had six doctors on me and they let me have the birth I wanted exactly. They're very supportive with all the preventive stuff. They're just fabulous represented medic. So, I didn't have to have C section which I really didn't want. They have good staff education and I got the birth I wanted. They really stacked it well and make sure I had all the people I needed there. They really let me set how I wanted it done and provide the birth I wanted to do it and all that stuff. The staff there was fabulous. I would give high marks to their classes. The perpetuity classes was really able to figure out clearly how to have the kind of birth I wanted and not end up with after surgery because I didn't have a C section I was able to bond with my son much better and he ended up healthier and emotionally adjusted. Generally they were great. The price is high but it was worthy.

    UCSF Womens Health
I saw several different service providers there, so it was not like one particular doctor or nurse or person. The dislike that I have is, it is a huge medical school hospital so there is all the bureaucracy and you see like maybe three or four attending or residents and that kind of thing, and medical students coming in and observing and stuff like that. So, there is a certain lack of privacy, but I think it is worth it for the security and the quality of care. It is one of the things that you have to accept if you go to a teaching hospital, as they have to teach.

    Laura Greenberg MD
I can't yet say what the outcome is since I just started a course of treatment (hence, N/A grade). What I can say is that Dr. Greenberg is very informative and intelligent, while NOT condescending or patronizing. I didn't feel like a lab specimen or a statistic, but I did feel that she provided a comfortable/private environment and was a good listener. She took a thorough history, but was not intrusive. Assertive but not pushy. The office staff? delightful. One moment I'm meeting Dr. Greenberg, 3 hours later I'm at the pharmacy getting my meds filled and scheduling a hysterosalpingogram (plumbing) for the next week. It's running that smoothly. I'm telling you, this doctor DECREASED my anxiety by validating my feelings and granting me some small amount of control up front. All options are being explored, and I won't rule out IVF with a donor egg as a possibility in the future, but right now this is what I want and this is what I'm getting. I'm happy and so are my ovaries. That counts a lot.

The experience so far has been okay with them. We just switched over to Kaiser in October of 2010. My wife mainly uses them. So far it has been okay. She gets to meet the doctor pretty easily. She doesn't have a lot of choices there but there are some things that she likes. The only thing that we find a little annoying is that, there are two Kaiser's and neither of them have a delivery room. We have to go all the way down to another place for the delivery. It's not convenient at all. The staff seems pretty nice. It's a nice place. So far the availability hasn't been a problem. It's pretty easy to get in and see the doctor. We will use their services again in the future.

    Pollycove, Dr. Ricki
I don't have one specific story to tell here. As mentioned above, I've seen Dr. Pollycove numerous times and I've described what she does well and what areas are kind of 'iffy' and that might make a difference for someone considering her as a doctor.

    Brill, Dr. Andrew I.
He did a really good job. I was able to go out for lunch with my gf the same day as the surgery. He was extremely thorough in his discussions with me before the surgery. He actually walked me into the surgery room. Very nice. Explained everything to me very well. He went out of his way to comfort me and his staff is wonderful as well.

    Wilson, Dr. Susan B
She was very good and approachable, and I loved her. My health insurance won’t cover her, so I have not been to her in about five years. I thought about going to her anyhow, but I was just worried that if there was a problem, nothing would get covered. She had a great bedside manner and was very easy to communicate with. She used to work out of two locations. I would rate her highly and would recommend her to others.

    Ulrich, Dr. Mary O
I started seeing Dr. Ulrich after a pre-conception appointment and have been with her my entire pregnancy. She is always friendly, knowledgeable, reasonable, and uses evidence-based practice. She answers my questions completely and calls me back in a reasonable amount of time. I have always felt very comfortable with the care I receive and will continue to receive.
