    NorthStar Moving Company
I used Northstar moving to move my one bedroom apartment from San Mateo to San Francisco. The phone appointment scheduling was very simple with a helpful agent. On the day of the move, three movers arrived with a huge moving truck very punctually. They were very professional and helpful, and were very efficient in their work. The whole process was completed in a few hours, including disassembling and assembling of furniture. Would definitely recommend this company.

    NorthStar Moving Company
NorthStart Moving company was amazing! They were right on time, worked extremely quickly and efficiently. They were very cautious of all our walls and didn't make any dents or scratches. Our plates and all glassware was delivered without any damages and our furniture is in great shape! The four men were very nice, professional and super quick! Next time we move we'll definitely use them!

    Larro's Moving Services
Larro's parked a rental truck in the new green bike lane on 7th street. They didn't unload or load moving boxes, they parked there just to pick up a crew member. Illegally blocking a brand-new bike lane when it's the only safe way to ride north through SOMA isn't so bad, right? I mean, we're only a week removed from when a cyclist was killed less than a mile away. But it was an unmarked rental truck, and they left their customer's invoice with their contact info totally visible on the dash, so I had no choice but to call the customer and ask them to have the company move the truck. So if you want a mover who will break the law during your move and then publicly reveal your private contact info, including origin and destination addresses, totally book Larro's. Just imagine what it could be like if their truck got towed for parking illegally with all of your stuff in it!

    NorthStar Moving Company
This is the second time Ive used Northstar and I recommend to everyone! They are fast and professional. They wrap all your furniture, disassemble and assemble all furniture. They also bring wardrobe boxes so you can keep your clothes on hangers - so helpful!

    Captain Move-A-Lot Inc
We hired Captain-Move-Alot to move our 1 bedroom apartment within the city (San Francisco). The movers showed up on time (actually a bit early per request) and got right to it. They did a fantastic job! Management was very communicative and followed through on everything that was discussed. It was a pleasure to work with them and would highly recommend them to anyone!

    NorthStar Moving Company
Great! The team came with a huge truck, giving us plenty of room to store all the items from out 2-bedroom move. They took special care to wrap all of our belongings and even arrived with an extra worker to help speed things along. Overall a nice group of guys that we would happily hire again!

    NorthStar Moving Company
Used North Star for a move out of Mission Bay SF condo, everything went smoothly and efficiently. Called to schedule and received quote, dispatcher responded with info quickly. Company is able to provide Certificate of Insurance for my building's HOA, which can sometimes be hard to obtain. Movers arrived on time (even early!) for the two hour window, got everything wrapped and out of the building within an hour. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for movers in SF.

    Spartan Van Lines, Inc.
We had a binding contract for $1886.52 to pack and move my sons dorm room from CT to CA. They were supposed to come Wed or Thurs, as he needed to be out on Friday. They did not come Wed, nor Thursday, they finally came Friday morning, at which time they said the contract was not accurate, and they wanted $5400 (TRIPLE the contracted price) to move him. I told them that his stuff is not worth that amount, it is just a dorm room (so not that much furniture) and I wouldnt pay it. By this time they had packed and put some of his stuff on the truck already. When I told her I would just cancel the move, she said that I could not have my deposit back, and I would never find anyone to come on short notice on a holiday weekend. So we argued on the phone, and finally she came down to $3700. As he had to be out that day, I felt I had no choice, so went ahead with the $3700 (DOUBLE the original price). Although I called to complain many times, every time I spoke to someone they said they were the wrong person and they would have someone call me back. But of course, NO ONE ever called me back.

    FlatRate Moving
I will be recommending FlatRate to everyone now. They made our San Francisco-to-Austin move very easy and transparent at every step of the process. They provide services for free that other major providers do not offer (like packing TV, wardrobes, etc). On the day of the move, the moving crew even went above and beyond and returned to pick up additional boxes I forgot about in a closet. I have never moved with a company as nice and responsive as these guys! Will definitely be looking to move with FlatRate in future as well.

    Move For Less
These guys truly made it happen. They were very responsive from the beginning, helped me to understand all the details of the upcoming move and prepare. They managed effectively through the whole process. Will definitely hire them again.
