Landscape Lighting reviews in San Francisco

    Green Planet Construction
I think when they signed up for the Angie’s List promo, I think they got hammered by a number of requests potentially so it took them a month or two to get out there but once they got out there, they did do a good job. I would use them again if they would schedule and show up on time. The workers are good but just to be prepared to get it done.

Babylon Builders - Home & Landscape Contractor

Ron called me the other day and asked for a review on Angies List. So, off course I said yes. I joined Angies List and found his company. Babylon Gardens Landscaping did a terrific job with my walkway and retainer wall. He gave me a pamphlet to choose the stone for the walkway and I chose Gold Quartz. Its silver and gold and looks great. I also put in some solar lights by myself, which saved me some money. My retainer wall was leaning badly, which Ron removed and rebuilt. It took some time because there was a lot of dirt to remove and being cautious with the retainer wall. Ron and his workers did a great job. He was there to manage and supervise. We had to wait a few days for materials, but other than that everything was perfect. He gets an A in my book.

    FOR YOUR GARDENS' NEEDS
We engaged Bret after our hardscaping was already installed. Probably less than ideal from an overall design perspective, but we had trouble with another landscape designer in the past, which required us to do it this way. Bret worked with this constraint well. I would say he's the kind of designer that has a vision that evolves as he goes. As mentioned by another homeowner, he didn't provide a plant plan, which caused a little bit of anxiety on my part. I had ideas about what I wanted from a plant perspective and had hoped for more collaboration between us on the final plan. That said, in the end, I got the most important plants that I wanted and the ones he chose (after taking the time to understand my aesthetic) had a lot of character and are now filling in nicely. The irrigation system and rock cover make maintenance almost effortless. And what was once an overgrown jungle of uninspiring plants when we first moved in is now our most favorite "room" in the house, one that provides us fresh veggies, lemons, avocados, apples and more!

I felt like the whole attitude of the landscaper was not satisfying. I got the impression that they put the deal out to get interest but were not interested in following through and doing the work, since it was a discounted deal. They didn't even provide me with a plan, nor did they listen to any my ideas.

    Lisa Friedlander Design
It's a great design & I've gotten a lot of complements. She worked around a few design problems with the space while still accomodating what I wanted out of my backyard. She put in a water feature, a back deck, redid some plantings, as well as put in some lighting & electrical work.

    Switched Electric
Let me say that over the prior 3 years other electricians I've interviewed (and hired but who weren't able to follow-through because they took a more lucrative job instead of mine) quoted the permit approval process and required solution as complicated and expensive and lengthy. Luckily those other didn't work out because using Seth Electric was low drama, cost a fraction as compared to others, was expedient, simple and honest. I couldn't be any happier with this service.

Received incomplete and inaccurate conceptional drawings. Landscape architect did not meet several deadline. I felt that since I did not pay the full price I was treated like like a second class customer. I attempted several times to have the the drawings modified with no reponse. Very disappointed and a big waste of money. I did not use the design plan.

It began with our purchasing an Angie's Big Deal groupon for a landscape design. We met with the partners, Sanem and Dave, who were both professional and personable and sketched out what we wanted. They came back with a design we really liked and began work within a week. The work took about one week., The folks who actually did the work were extremely professional and cleaned up at the end of each day.
We didn't actually see the finished project immediately as we were out of town. We came home to a lovely garden which thrilled us.

    Susan Friedman Landscape Architecture
Susan did a wonderful job of explaining the process. She was on site at the time of install and very helpful explaining how to care for the new plants. I felt like she took care of my yard as if it were her own. Overall I am extremely satisfied and would use Susan again!

    THE URBAN FARMER STORE
I have spent much time in the store asking questions and trouble
shooting problems with our irrigation, pond pumps and general
landscaping questions. Every person I have dealt with in this shop have
been top rate, very knowledgeable and have answered questions and or
fixed my problems with pumps, leaks and other issues with our
    irrigation.
This time we finally put lighting into our garden.
We originally purchased through the Orchid Show auction some LED
lighting that Urban Farmer had donated to the Orchid Society. Tom
Bressan, the owner, helped us design, experiment and install the
lighting in our garden. He answered all of our questions, gave us some
ideas, we tried it out one night and then he came back to install the
final placement of the lights. I would definitely recommend Urban Farmer for your landscaping needs.
