    Hearthstone Home Inspection
A very pleasant experience! Mark arrived early and explained what he had inspected so far. He was very thorough and provided great detail to help us understand the things that he recommended needed fixing. He also provided information on the must fix things. We got the completed report within hours of leaving the home. Very quick turnaround. The report was easy to read and provided a feature that allows you to select things to show the sellers. Overall great experience.

Ido contacted us the same day I sent an inquiry via Angies List. He came to give us an estimate the next day and arrived exactly on time. He emailed me a quote by end of day and we scheduled work for the week after. Michael and Chris came as scheduled, were extremely friendly and professional. Completed the work with no mess, no fuss and took every thing down as scheduled. Really, I cant say enough good things about this crew! A++++

    Indoor-Restore Environmental Services
Indoor-Restore's inspection report and estimates were educational but scary, as they talked about tearing up part of the ceiling, "highly elevated levels of fungal spores", "high likelihood of mold growth", "Penicillium/Aspergillus", etc. Their estimates included up to 2 days of remediation work, 5-7 days of lab turnaround time, and additional clearance testing, etc, which can cost me a lot of money, not to mention the moving expenses of the occupants to evacuate them during the remediation work. They also talked about "all appliances present in the work area(s)" to be removed prior to the start of remediation, including water heaters, furnaces, refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, etc. This appeared to be a nightmare for me, as it can financially ruin me to get the repair work done and to pay for temporary living expenses for the occupants. Luckily I was able to find another mold inspector, from whom I found that most of the issues in the report were incorrect. This new inspector I hired, not only helped us to find the root cause of the mold problems and how to fix the problem, but also gave us a detailed instruction to prevent the mold problems in the future. The problem was the minute leaks that were not noticed before, and it was resolved by repairing/replacing the old corking and sealing materials as suggested. The entire remediation work done by another company I hired took less than 8 hours, at only a fractional cost of the Indoor-Restore's estimates. I am very grateful to the real professional mold inspector and the remediation company that I hired, instead of Indoor-Restore. To be fair to Indoor-Restore, I thank them for coming to my place and writing many pages of a very very long inspection report filled with tons of scary words and horror stories, but they should know what they wrote were incorrect in many areas. I hope they learn someday to become real professional too, like the very thorough, very honest, and very thoughful professionals that I hired.

Excellent! Swift Restoration is highly recommended. I was very worried when serious mold issues were reported to me by Indoor-Restore, who was hired by my tenants. With a very short notice, Ido was able to complete the work in a timely manner. I was very impressed with Ido's outstanding work. Him and his team not only cleaned mold in the areas where my tenants showed them, but they also cleaned mold in the basement without even asking me or my tenants. Ido was very thorough and very honest. I wish there are more professionals like him.

    MOLD BUSTERS
Cheryl of Mold Busters did an outstanding job. I was very worried when serious mold issues were reported to me by Indoor-Restore, who was hired by my tenants. With a very short notice, Cheryl was able to complete the work in a timely manner. She performed thorough review of the Indoor-Restore's mold report, even before she entered my property, and then she not only examined carefully the areas where mold was previously reported, but she also gave detailed instructions to my tenants as to how to prevent mold problems in the future. She also recommended to hire professional plumbers to fix the areas where she had suspected minute water leak. After the plumbing problems were fixed in the areas where she had pointed out, she gave us referrals for outstanding mold remediation teams to go in to clean the entire areas of the mold infestation. And then, after the remediation work was completed, she immediately came back to re-inspect the property and gave us a report that the restoration team had done a great job and that my tenants were pleased. I am so relieved that I can sleep better now, knowing that there is no more mold issues to worry about, and that, thanks to her, my tenants know now how to prevent mold problems in the future. She was very thorough and very honest. Plus, she was a great communicator to keep me and my property manager, as well as my lawyer, informed all the time. I wish there are more professionals like her.

John was extremely thorough, professional, and informative. He has an amazing amount of knowledge about homes and was happy to talk us through everything he saw in the house as he did the inspection. He gave lots of helpful insight and advice about how to take care of the house and potential issues. We would definitely hire John again!

    HouseAbout Home Inspections, LLC
Dave showed up on very short notice, as we found a property 48 hrs before getting back on a plane. He was the first person on the site at 7:30 am, and took 4 hrs to inspect a 4BR 4B home with outbuildings and a pool. He submitted an online report with 80+ photos in a well-organized shapter-style format that could be seperated out for reuse in sending to approrpriate service providers. Since I shadowed Dave, he gave me a running commentary and basically showed me every room at an X-ray level. He is a master of the craft.

We had a great experience with Indoor Restore. Brian was the most helpful on the phone. We had them do an inspection in our bathroom area where we could see tiles popping out and mold coming through. The inspector, Joe, took time to explain everything to us and took samples in bathroom and in other rooms we asked. We have a child that is sensitive and has respiratory issues. A clean environment is something she has to have. The report and results were to us the next day since I paid for them to be rushed. We had the bad kind of mold in the bathroom and in the room right next to it. Brain went through the report and bid to remove it. We had the crew come out to do the removal. They were great, on time and have been doing this work for 15 years. It took 3 days. It was a stressful time but we were able to get it fixed and get the all clear in about a week. Thank you!

We can't thank them enough. Brain especially was helpful! We had a great experience in a really stress time for our family. We have a child that has respiratory complications and keeping her surroundings clean is very important. We did not realize it, but the shower was leaking into the wall and caused tiles to pop out and mold to grow inside that area. We called Indoor-Restore and they had someone out there the next day. The inspector, Joe, told us exactly what was going on. We choose to get more testing done so we could know if all the other rooms were a problem. We got the report the next day, paid for rush results and it turns out the bathroom and the room right next to it had mold. The really bad kind too. They included a bid to removal the mold and clean the air. The crew that came to do it was on time, super nice guys that have been doing this type of work for 15 years. It took 3 days, got the all clear from the testing they took after the job was done. We already see an improvement with our daughter's breathing. Very stressful situation but Indoor-Restore took care of it. Thank you!

Mold reappeared quickly right next to the work area. This means that they did not do a complete job in their initial testing and estimate of the work required. Upon discovery of the new mold growth, my husband attempted to contact the company by phone and email. The phone calls went to an automated messaging system every time he called which was a total of 20 times within 2 business days and ranging across 10 different phone numbers found via internet search, business cards, and previous email correspondence. When, on the third business day, he called using a different phone number, the call was picked up immediately by a worker for the company. He then tried again on his own phone number and the line went back to the same automated messaging system. 20 minutes later he received a response to his email. When confronted with the news of the new mold growth, the company tried to tack on an additional fee for the inspection which is not specified in the contract. The contract does not say anywhere that warranty work will be subject to a warranty inspection. Nor does it say that the client will pay for said inspection. This practice of dodging communication until caught and then adding on fees when those fees were not spelled out beforehand calls into question the integrity of all work done by this company. Incomplete and substandard work coupled with avoidance tactics warrants the filing of a complaint and the demand of restitution. Upon investigation of this company, their business license listed on their website has expired. The company accrediting organization that they claim(Indoor Environmental Association) has no way to contact them and they have no website. Any time you go to the company's website, indoorrestore.com, the computer is bombarded with virus alerts.
