    A-1 Fence Company
We absolutely LOVE our new fence!! The guys were on time, professional, efficient, and effective - the fence was up before we knew it and it looks great! We will definitely be in touch when we start to think about the rest of our fencing.

    A-1 Fence Company
We enquired into 6 different vendors, 3 responded and 2 wrote bids/proposals. We found A1 Fence to be easy to communicate with, prompt for trades and did quality work, even making suggestions to our design. In all our HOA and the owners who benefitted by the new and improved storage cages were happy. It even passed muster on a DBI inspection. :-) I'll certainly refer them other work as well. Fences are their specialty.

These folks are a five star operation. From the estimate to the removal of our old wooden fence to the installation of the new redwood fence they did a first class job. A-1 is willing to work with you about appointments and they show up when they say and complete the project when they say. I would recommend A-1 for ALL your fencing needs, they were really great from start to finish.

    A-1 Fence Company
We just had a 68 foot long fence replaced by A-1 Fence Company. After getting several bids for the job, we chose A-1 and are very glad we did. We have worked with numerous companies over the years on projects on our home and rentals. We found A-1 and their staff to be fair, efficient, and professional. The quality of their work and the products they used were excellent. We highly recommend them!

    Marsh Fence & Deck
It went really well! They came right out to give a quote, then were able to start the job the next week. Ramon was the lead guy doing the work, he did an excellent job and the craftsmanship of the stairs and gate are beautiful and amazing quality. Communication was excellent and the quote was exactly what we paid. Again, we are super impressed with the high quality of work, and affordable price. Would highly recommend them :)

Nanette is excellent and always manages to fit me in somehow. I am a Property Manager and need things done fairly quickly. She always seems to manage. Work is great and I keep going back to them. They are the best and work is always done very professionally.

    Neighborhood Fence Inc
It took about a week. They left the area clean. They worked with us in terms of what we wanted to do with the fence, and that worked out. We showed them a design and they followed it. So, they did a good job. The only issue that I had was, the post footings, what they called the crown the post footings. They put the footings in and didn?t do any finish work in the base of the post. Once the posts are set in, it?s in concrete, you can?t come back, unless you come back and fill it in. It wasn?t an issue after that, because I did go back and treat all the posts bottoms.

The only issue that would come up, would be that in terms of construction if they gave different options. Mainly they used staples to secure the wood on the fence, and if they would give an option to use screws. Normally they would use a nailer, they shoot these large nails into the wood. It slows them down if they use the screws. They had already started so I didn?t, looking back I wished I would?ve. Cause it?s easier to repair with screws.

Jordan and his team do great work.  I had to be persistent in getting his estimate as I think he was really busy.  He also doesn't do a written estimate like the other two Angie's List recommended companies.   However, he stuck to his verbal/handshake pricing regardless of whatever problems he may have encountered.  We had some communication problems when we had to be out-of-town on a weekend in which his team was on-site working.  Because our property is on a hill, I had wanted the fencing tiered so that the redwood horizontal fencing would be level with the patio.  When we arrived home on Monday, we found that he hadn't done that on the critical rear portion of the fence.  When I said that we didn't like the downward slant of the fence, he agreed to redo it.  This added an extra day to the job - but he wanted to make sure we were happy with how the fence looked.   When he and his team completed the deck, I asked about putting a wood lattice around the bottom of the deck to keep animals out.  He said he would take care of it.  When I mentioned that the last step down on the deck was twice the length of the previous 3 steps, he came back and added another step to match the other three.   We had previously hired someone to do a deck and fence design, so we had some original drawings that we were able to show him.  This helped immensely.   If you're doing anything complicated, be sure to have your ideas well-thought out so you can be certain of getting what you need.   I would hire Jordan and his crew again.  His pricing was quite a bit less than the other two Angie's List Fencing companies for the exact same project and he takes pride in his work.

Patrick is a man of few words, but he is competent, punctual, and does nice work. He takes the extra time and effort to do often-overlooked things like treating the cut ends of pressure-treated lumber prior to installing it. I would not hesitate to hire him again for future deck or fencing needs.

    Everlast Construction
Great contractor! We had Everlast Construction build a room & kitchen addition on our home in SF and we couldn't be happier! We needed the space for our new baby and didn't have the time to build or plan it out ourselves. They came up with a fantastic layout that fit our needs perfectly. Our designer had a lot of really great ideas that we didn't think of and the price was very reasonable. The other companies we talked to just didn't seem as interested or have any good ideas. Everyone we dealt with worked very hard and kept our property clean. They were responsive to our needs and any changes we made even after the project had started. The project was completed in the estimated time. We will use them on our next project. We will be using Everlast Construction for out next project and will definitely be recommending them to our friends.
