  • I received a rebate and a better plan, so I was happy. They provide good service. I don't like that it takes about four different people before you get to talk to the person you need to. They could improve on customer service.

  • First off, this shares the same store as Easy Travel. Located in the same shop. The phone stuff is kind of a side business here, but they have other stores in the Bay Area that only do phones. I went here because it was convenient. They had the BEST prices for Verizon phones. I was only looking for Verizon, but they sell T-mobile and Cingular also at good prices. I walked out the door with $30 charged to my credit card, and I sent in an $50 rebate to Verizon which I received a couple weeks later. So I netted $20 to get the phone and service started. Other places wanted me to pay $50 - $100 for the phone + setup costs. Got to pick my phone number and it was a new sealed phone from Verizon. No problems whatsoever. Just make sure you know what phone you want (returns are hassle) and read the contract (6 months on same contract necessary).

  • I just moved to SF and my experience with Provider name locked. has been underwhelming, to say the most. The installer arrived late, didn't explain anything and left me to learn how to set things up. I need a detailed billing statement to submit the Internet portion of the bill as a business expense to my employer, however, Provider name locked. 's off-shore support simply repeated the same thing over and over again, regardless how I rephrased the Provider name locked. question "how can I get an itemized statement for my first bill?". I was transferred three times with no one being able/willing to help me. The last person put me on hold, as did every Provider name locked. customer support agent, then hung up on me. I was pleasant, patient and dutifully repeated the same answers tot he same questions, over and over again with each Provider name locked. customer service agent. For the high cost, they lack any apparent ability to support their service. Also, just as a side note, the service lags/hangs at times, so changing channels and/or changing html pages sometimes takes awhile. Caveat Emptor
