    SPRINT
I couldn't get good reception at my home location and I was told I had 14 days to cancel the contract.  I live a bit far from Lloyd center so I was specifically told I could bring it to any Sprint store for a refund by the sales rep.  But the other store refused to take it back and the next day I had to make another trip to the original store. Then they gave me another excuse as to why it couldn't be returned.  It was absolutely horrible and I wrote to their customer service without any reply.  Then they wanted to slap me with a $400 penalty.  I will never use them again.

    AT&T WIRELESS
ATT has to be the worst communications provider in the world!!!
Prior to a 90 day, r-t-w trip, I purchased coverage for my cell for Europe + Outside Europe.
Got home, hit with a $795 bill. Called ATT, took 1/1/2 hrs, (transferred to 5 different depts) to get someone intelligent enough to
understand my problem. Advised I'd been overcharged $375 which would be credited on my nest statement. Fast forward, 1 mon,
new statement, no credit. Called to get wireless balance ($79 ) which paid immediately. Following Tue, tried to use my cell phone
only to find "service suspended for non-payment". More lengthy calls (50 min waits) transfers, etc.
    These guys are a joke.
Do yourself a favor....find a provider who values their customers. (i HAD been with ATT for over 20 yrs....not anymore)!!

We are on a group plan that someone else maintains.  The service has been great as far as we are concerned.  We use nothing but cell we do not use text or internet or anything.  We haven't shopped for it and we don't even pay for it, someone else handles the billing so I can't really tell the value for money or anything like that.  We will use them unless my niece and her family move out of town then we'll have to figure out what to do.

    ASTOUND CABLE CO
If you try to bundle, there will always have a strong whatever they specialize in. So if you bundle to get it cheaper, you are going to sacrifice 2 out of the 3 services. It is just me growing up with ATand T and PacBell and hating them all because they all gouge you. All of them.

    Consumer Cellular Inc
Basically it’s for senior citizens. It’s basic service and it’s a lot cheaper. There’s no contract involved. The reason why I use them is because it has the call feature for 911. Everything is great. They are punctual.

    AT&T WIRELESS
I don't have a problem with dropped calls. I have good service as long as I'm in an area with good reception. Even in the mountains there are different spots where the phone will work. When I go into the store they try to push for an upgrade and sometimes getting someone to help you is hard. My grandson broke my phone and when I went in they weren't happy about replacing it with another cheap phone. The first person said he couldn't help me, without giving a reason, and I had to be passed down the line.

    COMCAST
I just moved to SF and my experience with Comcast has been underwhelming, to say the most. The installer arrived late, didn't explain anything and left me to learn how to set things up. I need a detailed billing statement to submit the Internet portion of the bill as a business expense to my employer, however, Comcast's off-shore support simply repeated the same thing over and over again, regardless how I rephrased the simple question "how can I get an itemized statement for my first bill?". I was transferred three times with no one being able/willing to help me. The last person put me on hold, as did every Comcast customer support agent, then hung up on me. I was pleasant, patient and dutifully repeated the same answers tot he same questions, over and over again with each Comcast customer service agent. For the high cost, they lack any apparent ability to support their service. Also, just as a side note, the service lags/hangs at times, so changing channels and/or changing html pages sometimes takes awhile. Caveat Emptor

I don't drop a lot of calls but it makes me crazy when I go to friends in Pacific Palisades because the coverage there is awful. I have to drive 6 blocks to find a place where my phone works. It is very inconvenient and annoying. It has been going on for several years. The landline service is just fine. I would grade them an "A" for the landline and a "C" for the cell phone. I haven’t done any big price comparisons recently. I had some trouble long ago and they moved pretty quickly but they weren't completely responsive.

    SPRINT
What stands out about Sprint is that their prices to me seem rather high. I also don't like the fact that that you have an extraordinary long wait to have your phone repaired before you can talk to someone about what really needs to be done with your phone. I like the variety of phones available.

    VERIZON
I have been using them for about six years.  I have never had a customer service issue.  I just wish they were cheaper.  I have a family plan with them and that includes my daughter, wife, and me on a unlimited voice and text service.  My wife also uses their data plan.  We have tried many companies before them and they had the most reliable product, maintain connections, and not dropping calls.  They have always answered all the questions I have had.
