  • Once I contacted the company to schedule the work to be completed I was told that our ceilings were too high to install the fans without additional costs to the company having to use scaffolding.  I was willing to pay the additional costs, however they refused to honor the deal stating his workman's compensation prevented them from working above fifteen feet. I contacted Angie's for a resolution.

  • My wife and I own a small 1950s duplex in the Inner Sunset of San Provider name locked. .  We have hired Provider name locked. to make a number of repairs and updates since we purchased the property in 2004.  We first hired them to replace a fence in the backyard.  The fence held up even when a huge pine tree split and fell on it in a windstorm!  After that, we had Provider name locked. replace the deck and stairs on the side of the property to bring them up to code – another great job.  In early 2011, I noticed some water damage on the wall above a sliding glass door.  I had Provider name locked. , the owner of Provider name locked. , inspect the problem and it turned out not only was there a roof leak but old termite damage throughout the entire wall above the door – ugh!  Provider name locked. and his crew repaired the leak and resealed the roof, made sure it was watertight, and then replaced all the framing and drywall where the termite damage had been – all for a very reasonable cost, and in just a few days.   He even purchased paint to match the wall and ceiling color!

As Provider name locked. has always done a great job, in April 2011 we hired him to do a complete bathroom remodel.   We met to discuss the project, and as usual Provider name locked. made a few helpful suggestions about things my wife and I had not thought of.  We agreed on a price for the labor and plumbing material, then scheduled the work to start about a month later which was fine as we needed time to order tile, fixtures and a vanity cabinet.  The labor cost was about $9,000, which might seem high for an 9’ x 7’ bathroom.  However, the job was a bit complicated because were replacing the gross closed-in fiberglass shower with a sexy frameless glass surround, which required moving the fixtures and vent pipe to run inside the wall of the bathroom with the other plumbing.  Also, we were using a really cool green marble and stone accent tile which was tricky to work with.  Provider name locked. was very careful to make the cuts so we didn't have to buy much extra.

Provider name locked. and his crew showed up for the first day of work on time and completed demolition in less than a day!   Since we removed all the old drywall exposing the studs he suggested installing insulation, something I hadn’t thought of.  As we wanted the shower to be a bit larger than the original, Provider name locked. built a new pony wall and suggested putting the shampoo niche in it so the accent tile on the wall would look more seamless - great idea!   Later he suggested putting the accent tile in the back of the niche which looks great.  When I explained that we wanted a marble top for the vanity, but didn't want to buy a whole slab when we only needed a small piece, Provider name locked. suggested I check with Liberty Building Supply on Provider name locked. to see if they had a remnant - which they did!  When Provider name locked. was finishing up the job he thoughtfully took the time to ask us where we put our things.  I explained we had electric toothbrushes which we usually put on top of the sink and plugged into the adjacent outlet.  Provider name locked. came up with a brilliant idea to put another outlet inside a wall cabinet so we could keep our toothbrushes plugged in while keeping the sink clutter-free.  Provider name locked. also accommodated our request to put the vent through the roof rather than through the side of the house, and to use epoxy grout rather than regular, even though that required a little more work.

Provider name locked. ’s crew kept the job site clean and he called me at the end of every workday with a progress update he and his crew were gone by the time my wife and I came home from work.  He even sent me text message photos of certain parts of the job to make sure he was doing them they way we wanted.  The project took an entire month which is exactly how long Provider name locked. said it would take.  That's one thing I really appreciate about working with him - he is honest and doesn't give a low bid or downplay the amount of time the job will take just to get the work.  He doesn’t have to.

In summary, I have been very happy with Provider name locked. and highly recommend their work.  I hope to hire them again soon to remodel our kitchen!

  • Our 2 jobs were very small. Most people won't take these jobs so it was nice to find Provider name locked. . Provider name locked. came to give us an estimate and proceeded to stay and fix the light. It was hard to remove the cover of the light and after trying for a while he came up with an ingenious idea to remove it. He reseated the light and installed it correctly. While working he used a plastic bag to prevent making a mess even though I told him not to worry I would clean it up. Thanks, Provider name locked. ! He then looked at the fan. He suggested what we should do to fix it ourselves even though he could have charged us for doing it himself. He was very professional, nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend him and I would use him again.
