The repair was applied to 4 non-structural flange for attaching decorative wood members. The repair consisted of approximately 2 dozen tack-welds and application of galvanizing primer for corrosion protection.
The service was quick and timely. The quality of the repair was good. The job was small and the contractor charged a minimum of $300, so the cost appears a little high. Considering the expertise and specialty equipment requirement, I consider the cost reasonable.

Provider name locked. was friendly, professional, punctual, and responsive in general and prices were decent but he didn't look like he was in good health. He came out several times to do measurements and talk about the install. On one of his visits he told me that he had had a heart attack and was retiring and moving to the upper northwest somewhere like South Dakota, but was leaving his manager in charge in San Provider name locked. and not selling his business. I asked if the manager was licensed and he said no. This raised a red flag for me (and I don't think its exactly legal according to the CSLB). I also asked him not to put bolts into my stucco as it was a thin stucco with foam behind it. He said he couldn't install that way. (No one else I interviewed had an issue with this). Anyway we goth agreed it would not work out.

We had multiple bad experiences with this company concerning the installation of a
Security gate at a 10 unit apartment we own in North Park. They did not stand by their
product when it failed repeatedly and would not remedy the problem caused by the way
they installed the latch.
The gate and punch key entrance system we put in were what was recommended by
Provider name locked. . When it was finished the Provider name locked. service told us they could not
deliver the mail with that type of entry system. The company then charged us $600 to
install a separate entry system for mail delivery. We thought a gate company should
have been aware of this problem when they quoted us the installation.
Then the gate latch began to fail within a few weeks. Provider name locked. went out to
adjust it once and told us that the tenants were abusing the mechanism. We warned all
of the tenants to be gentle with the gate. The same gate in the back of the building had
no problems. It failed again and they would not come out to fix it. They wanted $125 to
adjust the gate even though it was only a couple of months of brand new.
We talked to the company who made the lock and they sent us replacement parts to fix
the lock. Provider name locked. would not install them without a service charge. We put
them in ourselves and the fence failed again. Turns out the distance between the latch
and the gate was too big and that put excessive force on the latch. Provider name locked.
Gates would not come out for free so we fixed that ourselves. Now the latch works fine
but no thanks to this company.
