    Repairs & Remodels On Demand
R&R exceeded my expectations. Their work was exceptional, they were friendly and professional, they offered fair pricing, and when they were done they cleaned up so well that you couldn't tell any work had been done. Additionally, Even for a relatively small job the manager/estimator came out and visited while the work was being done to check in and make sure everything was going well.

    JC Painting
Top-notch service. My garage is completely remodeled now with updated shelving, painting, and a new epoxsy floor. Justin is a perfectionist. He wants to make sure that you have complete satisfaction with his work and welcomes any feedback and criticism. Hes able to handle pretty much any type of renovation work. If hes not able to do it he will let you know and help you find a trusted colleague. Most importantly he is dedicated to your job. He does not have other projects going on at the same time so he remains focused on completion. Ive also used him for other projects including refacing stucco for my retaining wall on the property.

    JC Painting
Justin went above and beyond for us and we couldnt be happier. We knew what aesthetic we wanted but didnt have a clue as to whether or not it was even structurally achievable or where to begin. He took the time to stop over on a weekend day and walk us through the process we could anticipate from beginning to end so thered be no surprises. His consultative/collaborative approach to his work put us at ease and instilled confidence in our decision. He helped with the selection of the proper materials for the job and even put us in touch with local lumber suppliers who would have the best product for what we needed. The guy is a consummate professional and hell be our go-to for any future home project, indoors or outdoors. I dont think there is anything he cant do! Thanks Justin - you are the man!

    Halpert Construction
Mark and his team at Halpert Construction have completed numerous whole house remodels for my company and I couldn't feel more fortunate that we starting working with him about a year ago. His craftsmanship is excellent, his prices are very competitive and most importantly, he is honest and very responsive. I plan to continue working with Mark for many more years.

    Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen
We hired Remodel Works to remodel a kitchen, family room, dinette, and to do updating of three of our bathrooms. On each of the rooms, they provided a detailed timeline and description of the work to be done on each day. Our project manager, Ryan Terrell, did a remarkable job in making sure that the timeline was adhered to, and that the work quality was superb. Out of a 1-5 rating, he was a 6. The three men who did most of the actual remodel work (Chris D., Bryan F. and Ashley K.), are excellent craftsmen. The remodel turned out to be an amazing updated look, and one we appreciate daily. Thank you for a fine experience

    SAN DIEGO MASTER CRAFTSMEN
This extensive renovation began with various "baseline" objectives prioritizing structural integrity for my hillside home (strapping down all the posts and beams, reframing the roof, adding structural reinforcement where necessary and where required by current code, etc.). In time, the scope also included expansion of floor space. Throughout the entire process, Jon Hammer of San Diego Master Craftsmen was candid, transparent and willing to work closely with me on meeting my objectives. In short, I would describe him as someone many of us look for in a General Contractor: honest, responsible, creative and timely. More than anything, he listens to his clients, and tries to meet their expectations wherever he can. I am very satisfied, both with his responsiveness, and the quality of the work undertaken. The benefit of working with a design/builder like Jon Hammer is that he can look at a project and give you a good sense, ex ante, of what's involved, so you have a more accurate assessment of cost up front. Jon works closely with a seasoned team of sub-contractors and tradesmen. In my case, many of them were consulted in the design phase. In particular, we spoke at length with the engineers (I used structural, geotechnical and soil engineering services) to ensure the structural integrity of the renovation, and that it would meet all current codes. Jon talked me through these discussions in a very patient and comprehensive manner. I also worked with Jon's interior designer at this stage so that we could get a feel for end design requirements. During construction, Jon was very responsive and communicative. Our principal form of communication was by email, as I was living abroad at the time. But during my visits, Jon made himself freely available to meet with me, repeatedly and sometimes at the spur of the moment. I was always given a chance to provide feedback, every step of the way. Jon's sub-contractors did a superb job on the framing, masonry, plumbing and tile work. One important thing to keep in mind is that Jon directly assumes any responsibility arising from the work of the sub-contractors, occasionally at his own expense. The budget was a bit higher than initially forecast, due mainly to numerous enhancements identified during the course of construction (some of which were focused on meeting higher engineering standards). To Jon's credit, he provided me with full explanations of each change order, every step of the way. And he offered alternatives, which I appreciated. Overall, I have been very happy with the end results and would re-hire Jon for future work. Indeed, after this job, I hired Jon again to renovate my outside decks.

    James Bailey
James did a very good job repairing some wood and drywall damaged from a chronic leak of rainwater into a bedroom. He took two days and charged a fair price for his work. He was professional in every way. I would definitely hire him again.

    Berkley Construction Inc
Berkley construction restored the front porch of my home in Mission Hills to its original 1912 design. The team did a great job. They were courteous, communicated well regarding the timeline and plan, and helped us work through some design considerations along the way. I will hire them again.
