Window Replacement reviews in San Diego

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Went very well... all employees were very easy to deal with, they came when they said they would and got the job finished in the time frame allotted, with only one or two minor hiccups.
    - teresa R.
  • Everything was excellent.  I had two french doors that I wanted replaced with sliding doors and two large windows to be replaced.  They came out and took the measurements and the installation happened on schedule.  We're extremely pleased with the results.
    - LaVerne C.
  • I had researched replacement window instalations and manufacturers.  About 5 years ago I picked the  Provider name locked. to install two large sliding glass doors and two windows in my patio add on room.  It went well and without any issues the new doors and windows still work well today.
So, when it came time to do the rest of this room and the
rest of the main house, I picked them again.
    i must say.  I was expecting a
    typical replacement window installation.
Both neighbors on either side have that.
There is a big thick vinyl frame around the new window which is fitted
into place to surround the old frame which is left in place.  This works well because there is minimal intrusion
into the surrounding stucco and supporting structure.  The size of the new window is large enough to
hide all imperfections which are covered up.   It looks reasonable, and seems to be the
    standard for replacements.
This company, the Window and Door Factory , went beyond this
norm and totally blew me away.  The end
result was far beyond what I expected, as described above.
Instead of the windows being pushed in place with a fat
frame around it to hide everything, this company spent more time on details
which fitted the new window INTO the old opening. Something I frankly did not
think was possible with replacement windows.
There is no frame, only the new window, built into the house.  THAT IS RIGHT, the end result looks like built
    in windows, not replacements.
The difference is striking and far superior to anything I
have ever seen before.  Essentially, I
got built in windows without the structural intrusion to stucco and surrounding
The windows are of high quality and with decorative grids
    they appear original.
Also, this company did something which I requested.  I wanted to restore the old wood window
ledges which over the course of 60 years were looking very ratty.  There solution was to wrap the ledges in
white vinyl and restore them that way.
Protected from water, restored to their new appearance, and requiring no
paint going forward. The result, again, far exceeded my expectations.  I spoke to other companies about this, and
the only thing most offered me was to tear out the old frame and cover up the
hole with the fat window frame of the replacement.  Something I did not want. Something my neighbor
did and I did not like.
I was fortunate enough to have a great installation
team.  Provider name locked. , Provider name locked. and the Forman
Provider name locked. .  The attention to detail made all
the difference.  And they cleaned up the
work site each day before they left.
They even went next door and cleaned up for them as well, something my neighbor
appreciated.  The whole job, 14 windows ,
took 2.5 days.  It could have been done
sooner, but in order to get that built in look, it took quite a bit longer.
    - Michael B.
