Having had whole home water treatment systems previously, we decided to get one installed after about a year living in a home in Carmel Valley. Our water was very hard, leaving rings around toilets and lots of soap scum on glass shower doors. We would drink the water from our refrigerator's built in filter, but not from the faucet. We had previous bad experiences with salt-based water systems (water tastes salty, it's not good for you, and it's a pain to maintain the salt in the system) and good experience with conditioning anti-scale systems like Provider name locked. provides (good results and no maintenance). I called the office, and Provider name locked. set me up with an appointment a week later for Provider name locked. , the owner to come out to explain the system and installation options. He provided a quote with an Angie's list discount. After reviewing other options for a day, we called the office to provide a deposit and set up an installation appointment. The installation took place one week later. The installer came to the house in the 9-10am window that was promised and finished just before noon. Upon completion he checked the water for me and provided the instruction manual (there really is not much maintenance because they do a free check up every year) and what to expect over the next several weeks. It has now been just over 6 weeks since installation. Our experience has been very good and I'm happy with the performance of the system. We can drink water from any faucet. This makes it much faster to fill up water bottles for school lunches and sports (no more waiting for the small stream from the fridge). Hair is more manageable. My daughter says her eczema-prone skin feels softer. The shower doors are staying spot-free with use of Shower Clean spray after showering. The toilets are also staying clean, we are using a bleach tablet as recommended. This company was very easy to work with and I would recommend them.

Bill was on-time, professional and very efficient. Installation, which included a very high end faucet, was performed without any drama. Bill checked his work and we discovered that faucet had a tiny leak, which Bill fixed in no time. Good company and good people!- Alex Y.
On Friday, August 8, I called Provider name locked. & Plumbing to set an appointment to get the filters changed on my reverse osmosis unit. I was delighted to get a 7:30- 8:30 appointment the following Monday morning.
Come Monday, nobody shows up between 7:30 and 8:30, so at 9:00, I called them to find out what happened. (I stayed home from work for an hour and a half waiting for them to come.) The man I spoke with did confirm that I had an appointment on the books for that time slot. He told me they must be running late and would I like them to call me? I asked if they could help me figure out what was going on, and the man said "No" because they were simply a scheduling business. Wow! Nobody could tell me what was going on! He asked if I'd like to get a call later from the company and I said yes.
Much later in the day (about 3:00 pm) I received a call from a lady named Rosie. She left a message stating that I must have the wrong company and that I really wanted Provider name locked. and she gave me the number.
I called back to try to get to the bottom of this odd situation and spoke with a different woman who, this time, could NOT find me on the schedule at all. When I explained my dismay with the poor business they were providing, she asked if I would like to have the owner call me back. I said yes.
Rosie (not the owner) called again and did not have any explanation as to how they "lost" my appointment.
She offered to send someone out the next day between 7:30 and 8:30, but I said no thank you. I couldn't afford to miss that much work when I wasn't convinced they would show up anyway.
One other thing, their 800 # is not working. This really made me feel wary.
