  • I saw Dr. Provider name locked. , whom I liked very much personally. But when I had my eyeglass prescription filled, it was seriously OFF... something that had never happened to me before. I felt like the glasses were pushing on my eye. My opticians told me that under the law I could get a do-over with a new scrip within 30 days, so I went back to Dr. Provider name locked. . She gave me a new prescription that was so different from the previous one that it surprised the opticians, but they went ahead and made new glasses for me. The second prescription was better than the first, but still  just felt wrong, and stronger than it needed to be. At that point I spent nearly $200 of my own money to go to an optometrist highly recommended by the opticians. (Who were willing to take a loss to get me the right glasses when the mistake and repeated mistake had nothing to do with them.) I ultimately got the prescription I needed, but I lost time and money on the deal. And to add insult to injury, the office double billed me for the part of the exam that wasn't covered by my insurance.

  • Dr Granet is excellent.  The only thing I do not like is that his practice forces him to make appointments every 15 minutes, but he takes far longer with each patient and often runs late.. sometimes more than an hour late.  So take something to do/read - he is worth the wait.  He diagnosed my daughter as having "insufficient convergence" which causes her some vision difficulties, but is easily remedied by eye exercises, using software that is quite fun.

  • I have had my eye vision exams done here for several years.  The doctors are  nice and my prescriptions always seem to be ok.  When I was at my appointment for my vision exam I explained that the sore on my eyelid that the dr. had cautaurized last time didn't completely heal, they made sure I saw the eye doctor who cautaurzied it last time so I didn't have to make a second appointment and go back.  That was great!!!  After he looked at it, he suggested I see a plastic's specialist to have it removed.  He said his staff would call with the referral.  His staff is very nice but they haven't called almost a month later.  I will call next week and I'm sure it will be fine.
I will continue to return to this facility for eye health and exams.  The office is in an old house in Hillcrest which has great charm but is very crowded.  I'm not sure how the staff works all day in such cramped and crowded quarters.  If you are at all claustophobic you might have an issue with the office if it's a busy day.
Overall, my experience here has been a good one.
