    San Diego Sexual Medicine
First off, let me be clear that I do believe Dr. Goldstein and SDSM have improved the lives of many people with sexual dysfunction. That being said, I don't feel that Dr. Goldstein was able to offer me any remarkably helpful or valid advice with regards to my own condition. Furthermore, I feel that Dr. Goldstein and staff were not sufficiently forthcoming with respect to the cost of future consultations. I am suffering from persistent sexual dysfunction after stopping SSRI's (Prozac, Zoloft, etc.). By any measure, this is not a simple problem, and there is no one definitive solution. Which is why I was a bit skeptical when Dr. Goldstein assured me prior to and during my visit that SDSM had "the cure" for this condition. This "cure" is a prescription medication that hit the market in 2015 and costs $800 a month out of pocket (to be clear, SDSM offers its patients a voucher to receive this drug for $150 a month - still a pain but not a financial impossibility for most people). Ignoring the fact that taking a pharmaceutical put me in this position to begin with, I took this drug, as I am desperate to try anything that might solve my problem. In the month that I have taken this drug, I have seen no improvement in my condition, and I have communicated with Dr. Goldstein over email and phone about contingency plans (i.e. What is the plan B if this drug does not produce the desired effects?). It has proven difficult to get a straight answer from Dr. Goldstein regarding other courses of treatment. For my condition, he seems to offer three choices - take prescription A, and if that doesn't work, take prescription B, and if that doesn't work, take prescription C. If you have this condition and respond to one of the meds, that is excellent. However, if you visit SDSM and don't respond to the meds, you will find that you have spent quite a bit of money only to receive a remarkably narrow treatment strategy. I find it reckless and misleading of Dr. Goldstein to refer to the drug he promotes as "the cure" for SSRI-related loss of libido - this drug simply does not have the track record to be called the cure for anything. Aside from Dr. Goldstein's focus on largely untested prescription meds, he comes off as a bit oblivious and disinterested in his individual patients. I saw him over the course of two days, and when I returned for the second day, he proposed the same treatment strategies that he had ruled out in our initial visit, just a day earlier. In a post-visit phone call, he actually tried to guess what treatment we were calling to discuss - apparently he doesn't thoroughly review his own notes prior to calls and visits with his patients. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. I contacted SDSM to schedule a call with Dr. Goldstein to discuss getting off of the medication he prescribed me. I was informed that I would now be charged $90 for any phone call that I scheduled with the doctor. Based on my conversations with Dr. Goldstein before and during my in person visits, I understood these calls to be complementary. I was strongly encouraged by Dr. Goldstein to schedule a courtesy call after our consultation, but at no point did he or his staff communicate that after that initial courtesy call, I would be charged every time I wished to speak with him. Had I known that, I absolutely would have approached that courtesy call differently. I got upset with the SDSM staff member, and Dr. Goldstein emailed me and let me know that he would no longer treat me barring a full apology to the staff member. It is absolutely within his rights to reject treatment to me, but my issue is that the pricing of follow up calls was revealed in a duplicitous manner. Once again, SDSM may be a boon for many people with sexual dysfunction. However, for a clinic that ostensibly prides itself on transparency, true healing, and a positive patient experience, I must say that I found Dr. Goldstein and SDSM to be quite disappointing.

    Morris, Dr. Gerald D.
I haven't had a regular doctor in many years. I visited Dr. Morris to talk about everything that has been happening in the interim and how I should proceed with my overall care. He was nothing but encouraging and helpful as I described what's been happening and made several referrals to direct me towards additional resources for help. Even though we were on a schedule he didn't make me feel like we were pressed for time. I'm looking forward to see him again on a regular basis.

    Bressler, Dr. Daniel J.
This is not the usual cattle call, assembly line approach to seeing patients.  Dr. Bressler provideAfter any examination he meets with you in his office, answers all of your questions and offers advice.  During that time you never feel that his attention is devoted to anything but you. In helping you consider decisions he will explain the issue without talking down to you. In our consultations he has referred me to latest published study on a particular treatment.  He is extremely personable, jokes a bit, and shows true interest and empathy.
The office staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.  They quickly get to know you and are a big help. You can contact them by email and you get a prompt and effective response.
Dr. Bressler's office does not submit insurance claims but they give you all the paperwork you need and even an addressed envelope to send it in.
This is by far the best experience I have had with any physician and I would change for anything.

    Kaiser Permanente
I love my doctor. Its the first time in years I've had a good relationship with a doctor. Any time you need something, you can get in. Six o'clock on a Sunday morning, when you can't breath with bronchitis, I can call up and get a place to go to be seen within the hour which is not usual with medical.

    Pacific Medical Care
I'll keep the details to myself but I would not recommend for the serious chronic pain patient who is looking for a cure. Spent months trying to get my injections approved only to be told I was wasting my time.  Very unethical PA's there. Dr. Wynn is excluded, he is very kind and actually listens with your chart in hand. Overall, the only thing going for this place is Dr. Wynn who is there only 1 day a week.

    Doctors Express
I was celebrating a party at my children's friends in Rancho del oro, Oceanside. I felt very sick, and the flu was affecting my entire body. Because it was after 6pm, there weren't too many places to go except the ER room. Someone told me about Doctors Express at the intersection of College Blvd and OCeanside Blvd. I went and I was received right away by the Doctor. They gave me a treatment for flu and I felt better very soon after

    SANGEETHA MURTHY INC
She's wonderful. She takes her time and listens to what you have to say. She works with you really well. She's great. She has one receptionist. It's a very small office. When you have an appointment, you don't have to wait. She's very thorough. When you make an appointment, you're like the only one there at that time. So you get to go in, take your time and do what you have to do. She's very good at listening.

    G Ryan, Dominguez

Dr. Dominguez has been my Primary Care Physician for several years. He is upbeat, pleasant, healthy (I want a Physician who practice what they preach). He is detailed oriented and manages several on-going health issues. He is an expert on Hormone Therapy for Women, especially menopausal. He is really into what he does and seems to enjoy each encounter. I see the way he talks to other patients, with respect, encouragement, positive words and concern.  He provides quality on a consistent basis.

I am hesitant to give a review because I want him all to myself, my family and friends.  He is the rock star of Primary Care. He took my health and hormones from a 6/10 to a 10.

    Scripps Health
They have a great reputation and have many locations. The hospitals are great, and it's just a great healthcare organization to be a part of. I typically wait 10-15 minutes to be seen when I arrive.

    Sharna Shachar MD
She is holistic and I'm into holistic so that's something that I relish about her. The staff is very personable. They know me like family so if I call, I can give my first name to them and they know me.
