    THE RETIREMENT GROUP
I met Erik Larsen to discuss my retirement. I wanted to retire from PG&E, 3 to 4 years from now. He gave me recommendations and plan on how to better distribute 401 K and other finances to support retirement. Responded very promptly and courteously to all my requests based on the information I provided. He developed a comprehensive financial plan and recommendations for me to redirect my 401 K funds at work. The best part was that he did all of this for free, despite the fact that I couldn't give him any business at this time. However, his strategy was to establish a relationship so when I do retire I can consider him to manage my retirement funds. And I will because at no point did he apply any pressure. I was please with his service and have recommended him to all of my colleagues.

    Pacific Crest-Global Wealth Management
Robert Chapman, the owner of Pacific Crest Global Wealth has been our financial planner and advisor since late 2009 and prior to that was my father-in-law's advisor for many years. He is absolutely wonderful to work with on every level; he is knowledgeable and thorough and can offer options for investments not available to non-clients. He has has come up with several investment opportunities which we would never have considered were it not for his help and information and they have performed even better than expected. Mr. Chapman is a great asset and we feel he has gone out of his way to help us establish financial security even in difficult market times. He keeps an eye on our portfolio and offers insight as to both buying and selling opportunities. He is incredibly patient and easy to talk with; he does not "push" a particular fund or investment opportunity and is always, without exception, willing to listen to our questions and support our decisions. He gives us as much information as we need to make an informed decision. His patience is remarkable as is his intelligence and knowledge of financial markets and investing. He is also very aware of tax consequences and as a fiduciary advisor has helped us with income tax planning as well; he referred us to an excellent tax accountant, Brian Cox, who is equally as conscientious and knowledgeable as Mr. Chapman in their respective fields. It should be noted that Mr. Chapman's referral to Mr. Cox has enabled us to have a top-notch tax accountant who works hand in hand with our financial planner--an ideal "dream" team to handle our finances. We live about 350 miles from Mr. Chapman's office and that has never been a problem. Through email and phone calls we are able to conduct business almost without delay and have never had an issue with the distance. In short, Mr. Chapman and his company have proven to be well worth the cost of his services; we have never yet regretted a single decision made under his guidance and have 100% trust and confidence in him. Under his guidance our portfolio has grown substantially. I cannot recommend him and his services highly enough and encourage anyone considering a financial planner to meet with him and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

    Pacific Coast Trust

Ilooked at approximately 6 companies to help set up a Trust & Will for my mother, includingtwothat you do yourself on line. There were several reasons I chosePacific Coast Trust. 1.They are definitely competitive price wise. 2. They have been in business quite a while. 3.They are local to me. 3. I did not want to do this myself, with such important documents. 5. Pacific Coast Trust makes house calls. Really, now Who does that anymore? This was very helpful, as mom cannot get around easily and does not like to leave the house. I called, and made an appointment with Frank Kallmeyer to have him meet at our home and go over services, etc. and make suggestions. He sent me a list of whatinformation he wouldneed, to better know what I might need, I.e. Will, Trust, Power of Attorney, etc.The papers suggested thatit bedecidedbefore hand as much aspossiblewho else should be included in the Will, present to sign paperwork, witness, etc.The entire initial appointment was no more than 45 minutes. I knew pretty much what was needed, and there is not an enormous amountof assets. All options open to me and my mother were discussed. Frank got the information he needed to proceed, and made sure all questionswe had were answered toour understanding and satisfaction. It took several weeks to have the papers drawn up, which we were told about by Frank at our meeting so no surprise there. We(Mom & I) were able to goover the information by phone, and confirm everything was correct. It then took about twomore weeks for the papers to bedrawn up, a pretty detailed process. I am very glad it was not left up to me, I would not have had either the time, knowledge or patience for that! When all was ready, Frank contacted me and set up a time convenient for us to meet at our home and finalize the documents. He had everything done in a very nice 3-ring book, with tabs to divide each section. He went over each one, from the Trust, the Will, Healthcare Directive, etc. Documents were notarized and made ready to file with proper agencies. This is a difficult thing to think about. However, for anyone with spouses, children, parents, any loved ones, I personally feel that this is a necessary part of planning, just in case. It gives mom a great deal of peace of mind to know that Her wishes will be carried out the way She wants, by her family, not aJudge in Probate Court or a Medical Board. The manner in which Pacific Coast Trust handled things all the way through lets me give them my highest recommendation to anyone needing this type of service.

    Pacific Coast Trust
Frank Kallmeyer was very professional and explained the whole process to me prior to my agreeing to go ahead with the trust. He explained how long the process would take and told me I would be contacted by an attorney after it was drawn up. This was accomplished and then Frank made an appointment to bring it over and explained everything to me. I feel very comfortable that my family will be taken care of without probate.

The meeting went very well. I'm looking forward to working with Vladimir for the coming years. This firm seems well managed and is more than willing to take time to discuss all possibilities with its clients. I was thrilled with the level knowledge the Vladimir possesses.

    USAA Bank
I LOVE USAA! I cannot use another insurance provider for as long as I live. I may sound like I am exagerrating, but after having dealt with Allstate and 21st Century, USAA wins, hands down.  They are mostly based online, but that totally works for me. (They happen to have a few local offices as well, but I have never visited any.) Their promptness, understanding of military culture and dynamics and overall customer service are unsurpassed. I HIGHLY recommend to any and all military and military family members!

    Senior Funding Associates-MONTY SIMONS
It went very well because of his daily diligence. Monty constantly monitored the progress and moved things along very quickly. He worked well with the other parties and stayed on top of potential problems until they were solved.

Met with Vladimir, who was very helpful and informative. I just became the sole trustee of my father's trust, and needed an accountant familiar with trusts. He helped me very much, and I feel much more comfortable with my situation now.

    AMERICAN EXPRESS
American express has provided me without exception, fantastic service.  The big difference is AE puts a higher priority on the well-being and satisfaction and service to their members as opposed to the merchants that they are contracted with.  The merchants that are larger and deal with tourism and travel are consumers as well, so likewise they would enjoy good service as consumers.  They offer extremely high customer service to their card holders.  Their rapport is unbeatable; they are available 24/7. They are cheerful and chipper, they are top notch.

La Jolla Institute For Wealth Management
This small firm is big on customer service and integrity. I recently became a client, and when I stopped by their office to deliver my paperwork, they took the time to introduce themselves and to answer some questions I had. A few weeks later, they advised me that the original investment direction wasn't a prudent one, due to volatility in the markets. They recommended a safer direction, but this also meant substantially reduced fees for their company. It was a refreshing and honest approach to business from a financial services firm.
