The team showed up right on time (second try, since their scheduler did not set it up correctly the first time) and thoroughly explained the process. They used power from the garage for the buffing and air compressor, but had us close the door and masked everything when they started the paint touch-up in the driveway. They returned a few days later at the specified time to do the final Provider name locked. and clear coat. Both guys were very professional and cheerful.- Charles L.
I would never go back to this repair shop! I felt they dealt dishonestly with me and did not do an adequate job painting my car (both the 1st & the 2nd time).
The new manager said they would 'work with me' and quoted another thousand plus dollars to repaint the car ... again! The new owner said this was their “good-will” towards me. However, this time they'd do a complete detrim (remove bumpers, window metal trim, etc) for a better outcome. And, once again said they'd offer a 10 year warranty - which at least was in writing this time.
The paint job turned out alright, but I incurred a several hundred repair bill from my mechanic to fix things the painters did to my car in reassembling it! And, I had to pay for a rental car while they kept my car two weeks!
And, I thought I had a written warranty the first time, but apparently did not. BE CAREFUL - CHECK YOUR ESTIMATE AND FINAL RECEIPT for the written warranty. According to Calif law, any warranties expressed or implied – orally (e.g., "we'll give you a 10 yr warranty...") are only really good for just 1 yr. So, my advice: GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING (e.g., 10 yr warranty craftsmanship & Labor, & life time warranty on the paint/clear coat used), and take detailed Before and After pics of your car before letting the body shop work on your vehicle. So sad, things must come to this!
The Dept. of Consumer Affairs met with the shop owner and manager who said they did all they were responsible to legally do for me, and that the current owner had a legal document from the prior owner absolving him of all prior warranties from the co. to customers like me. Turns out though, they kept the same C-corp. (the co. was the same) and allegedly the new owner was the silent partner & vice versa - e.g., they switched Provider name locked. as President. In other words, they seem to be barely skirting the law with an apparent intent of not living up to their customer promises or dealing with their low quality work from the past in trying to cut costs and make a buck. Hope you have a better experience ... elsewhere!- KAREN & Jeff Freedman V.
Contacted Provider name locked. @urgentcarebumperrepair.com">Provider name locked. @urgentcarebumperrepair.com by email and received a response by telephone within hours. Provider name locked. explained the serveice and how it would be performed at my home.We immediately discussed price, estimated at $300, and arranged a date. He arrived on time and examined the bumper and pointed out a small Provider name locked. that I had not noticed. We agreed on teh $325 price and he performed the work. I was able to drive the car to an engagement that Ihad at 5 pm that same day. I was extremely pleased.
